I realise this film is not meant to represent the actual history of things but apart from the Bresslaw / Cribbins and Scott switch they got rid of Charles Hawtrey after Carry on Abroad in 1972, Carry on Dick was 1974. This poor history does get slightly annoying.

I'm loving this so far but how comes no Jim Dale, Hattie Jacques, or Terry Jones?? I do recall that at least the first two was in the film shown in this part.

@Cherlippy , Yeah Jim and Hattie are a definite miss.....but they weren't in the film shown here which was Carry On Dick

I thought Charles Hawtrey was originally in the rehearsals of "Carry On Dick", but replaced by Bernard Bresslaw for the film.
