I have sources working in authorized apple store who say that there is going to be one mac, one apple pencil, two new I pad but he couldn't figure the other new product out.
On the MacRumors website it says that the ipad mini should not be bought because it has been out for 953 days (as of the day of this comment), so its at the end of its cycle
pretty sure apple store employees arent told that stuff lol

Yep let’s make it thinner because it looks cool and ignore battery life, durability and thermals. Oh yeah did you say you want an operating system that takes advantage of the M series chips? Well here is an upscaled version of iOS that can’t download apps outside the AppStore and the apps that you can download are all scaled down versions of the ones that are on Mac. I know I’m being harsh but I like the idea of using an iPad as my main computer but apple is incompetent when it comes to the iPad just look at the sales they keep dropping year over year.
@@colindavidch Thinner will be 100% from the OLED display being... well thinner. I totally want more Pro apps. Thermals should not be worse.
@@bovineox1111 I agree the thinness will probably come from the thinner display but I wish they would take the Steamdeck OLED route and just use the extra space to add battery capacity instead.

Can you compare the M3 13" iPad Pro (with Magic Keyboard) to the base M3 14" MacBook Pro?

The only way I’m flipping the bill for another iPad Pro is if macOS runs on it. My M2 iPad Pro is enough and I should have just kept my pre m1 iPad Pro both were 12.9”. But then again if they make it in space black I will HAVE TO get a new one. Not!!!

Been using my iPad Pro 12.o from 2018 since it came out. Got me through college. Don’t think I need the pro anymore so the 12.9 air seems like a great option. Hopefully it’s less than $700

They need to name the chip for the iPad different to separate it from the Mac’s
And then make the normal version for the air. And a pro version for the pro models. Like they do for the iPhone and for the MacBooks

The iOS calculator app is so bad I recently felt compelled to leave a bad review in the App Store. Hope they add basic features like history to the iPad OS app!

M4 isn't coming in wwdc, M3 only came out a few months ago, If it is a new chip, it won't be an M series, likely an A series chip

The fact that it took them 14 years to give us a simple calculator app is a sign that it will take another 14 years for them to give us Mac OS on the iPad Pro.

It says Apple will announce new Apple Pencil and new Apple iPad Air but it also says no iPad Pro in May. Hopefully that means a major iPad Pro Ultra release later this year with M4 Pro and MacOS. If my hopes are true than the 12.9 inch iPad Air with mini-Led display will replace the current iPad Pro 12.9 inch and iPad Pro and iPad Ultra will become a true laptop replacement people have been asking for. I suspect this may be wishful thinking on my part. However, if Apple just upgrades the iPad Pro to OLED with mostly little else and no MacOS then there would be no point in purchasing an iPad Pro 12.9 inch over the iPad Air 12.9 inch for most people and would push demand for the iPad Pro down even further. Sarcasm-WOW a calculator app.-now I am totally sold.

Would not be surprised if Apple does not unveil the iPad Pro, and pushes its unveiling till later in the year to coincide with the M4 chipset release.
M3 will be another incremental update about hardwware eg colours with the pencil sensor or something flashy but iPadOS will still maintain evolutionary lineage back to the Jurassic Period!

Most of us want an iPad mini with a Mini LED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
Perhaps a wild idea, but what if the delay was to wait for the AI compatible M4 chips? Anything released now with M3 will be obsolete in a few months when Apple announce their new AI features and you need the AI chip for it to work. There will be a lot of bummed out iPad Pro buyers if it comes with an M3 and is obsolete before the end of 2024.

I appreciate the collapsible design of the Magic Keyboard, which allows me to switch between typing and using the Apple Pencil without removing it.
However, I'm concerned about the potential increase in weight.
If they can maintain or even reduce the weight while using an aluminum shell, I'd be completely on board.
