I think people just generally underestimate how durable these products can be. Most people are so focused on gadgets and gimmicks that durability has become less and less important of a factor when buying a productâŠ
That's because those same "indestructibe" pieces of tech can fall from the bed and be damaged beyond repair!

Many the companies of these products must praise these stories. This is advertising for reliability at it's peak!

Minor detail, that's a door plug, it wasn't supposed to be able to open at all without tools, the reason it pop out is because 4 bolts that's supposed to secured the plug to the hinge was not put in

I found it incredible how that iPhone survived being sucked out of a plane given how easily they usually break.
The last womanâs phone got an instant 100% charge đ
The only reason the phone survived is the grass and physics makes it cap out at a falling speed
And the fact it has a case and screen protector.
Itâs not too surprising that the iPhone survived if it landed on a field. At some point the height really doesnât matter anymore because its speed will stay constant.
Yea, many don't get this. 16,000 ft or 100,000 ft doesn't matter if both reaches terminal velocity. Both will hit the ground at the same speed.
@@unliving_ball_of_gasthe speed that reach still is very fast

At this point Go pro should start making cell phones cases and also whats with the airplanes in america! How can they just rip off mid air, like can of tuna? Was that a Boeing plane?
Yep. It was a Boeing 737. It was the latest model too so they had to ground all of the planes and they found that they all had this defect as well as several other errors
If it's cheaper to produce something with less safety features and the risk management team finds that the financial risk of doing that is less than the financial gain, American companies will go with the money.
After all, those yachts won't buy themselves....
â@@JuriAmariThats very unfortunate and scary đ¶ i thought after whole 787 max debacle, Boeing corrected their ways but they didnt, how are they even allowed to operate?
â@@AlphaLinkXthats very unfortunate and sad part of American companies but dont worry KARMA exists they wont be able to enjoy those yatchs for much time đ¶
Apple took airplane mode to the WHOLE NEW LEVEL đđđ
Yet my phone canât survive falling off my desk...
The iPhone survived the fall because it was on 'airplane' modeđđ
But the actual answer is things falling from great heights reach constant terminal velocity so the impact is less further terminal velocity directly depends upon mass so the chances of most phone surviving the fall is high
GoPro Is Powerful Than Nokia Because He Survived In The Lava đŻ
Go pros are equally as powerful
Bros literally said "airplane mode on" on a new other level đđđ
Bro you stopped my heart for a second when you dropped your phone đ€
The teaches are taking inspiration from its great grandfather- Nokia
Also don't forget about the Game boy that survived an atomic bomb!
Apple's Secret: We have stolen Some Android Phone Protection
Scientists are going to want the footage from the GoPro that was caught in lava
The second one wasn't that deep, the voltage would have fallen across her body since the phone is so low resistance. they are built to handle esds anyway, im more impressed that she survived
I also like the Game Boy that survived the Gulf War, but that story is so old by now that I like that your team is researching more modern tech disasters you might not have heard of
To whomever returned the iPhone that fell out of the United Airlines flight, you're a a HERO!! đđœđđœđđœ
Not even going to mention the Gameboy that survived a bomb in the Gulf War?
Canât forget the obligatory mention of the Game Boy that survived a bomb explosion during the Gulf War, said Game Boy now on display in the New York City Nintendo Store
Zeus with the last one: "No Im camera shy"
Nokia : Those are rookie numbers.
Another example for people who wanted to know more:
In the gulf war, a bomb blew up a tent owned by the us military. In the tent was a Nintendo gameboy belonging to a medic. When the gameboy was found it was taken to a repair shop, but it didnt need to as not only did the gameboy still work, but the copy of tetris that was in it. Its in a museum now (not sure which)
GoPro:I PUT MY ARMOR ON SHOW YOU HOW STRONG I AM
I love how the last one damaged the owner but not the phone đ
You gotta missed the time when a gameboy got hit by an artillery strike and STILL survived
"are you filming me mortal?"
-zeus to that woman probably
Iâm more suprised that the first one still has battery than the fact that it survived
*Gameboy and Nokia laughing in the background*
The origin of 101% batteryđ
The game boy that survived multiple bombs and lasted the entire Gulf War deserves to be here
With the phone one, it is pretty obvious as to why it survived. As phones are decently light their terminal velocity is low, meaning they can't fall fast. But the major factor is that it landed on grass, unlike a road which would have caused it to explode!
don't forget the gameboy that survived the gulf war
There was a GameBoy that a soldier had on tour which ended up getting bombed. Afterwards he jokingly sent it to Nintendo to ask them if they could repair it and they found that it still worked
Iâm glad schlane pizza is able to break character like this and share these things that mean a lot to him
that iphone's battery got superchargedđ
The case that protected the phone is made by spigen in case anyone was wondering
Bros camera had fire resistance đ
Those old GoPro cases would go through anything keeping the camera safe
For number 4, the extra height doesn't matter, cause it would've already reached terminal volocity, it really just needed a soft surface to survive
Thereâs this story from 2016 where this guy lost his iPhone 4s in a river submerged for 9 months, he found it after and the phone was still working
Imagine the sheer shock. You call me to let know you found my phone and I respond oh thanks it fell off a plan two days ago. đđ
I thought it was a JBL go 3 on the thumbnail, turns out it was a GoPro.
no wonder why the phone survived 16,000 feet, because it was on airplane mode đ
1 day after the phone survived being dropped from an airplane:
Tim Cook: "We call it, the iPhone Air!"
Phone: "power at 400% capacity"
Me: "how about that?"
You forgot to mention that a gameboy survived the gulf war bombing and still worked.
Lightning striking the âshockproofâ phone case is crazy
We have learned a great lesson that you shouldnât give up on things even if it seems impossible to fix.
and yet all my tech breaks falling from my hand to my floor đą
Nah the gameboy that survived the nuclear bomb is for sure the coolest
I'm more impressed that someone found the phone on airplane mode than it surviving.
top 10 iphones made in a nokia factory
Not me thinking the GoPro with lava was a dang bodycamđ
the fact that we heard it happen is wildđ
Bro the last person probably had her phone fully charged after that one
Nokia: Hold my beer
Airplane mode definitely lived up to its name
Just casually says âyeah that happened too.â
So a phone getting struck by lightning was more impressive than a camera being set on fire by a volcano
The phone butter landed itself because the airplane mode was onđ
I was expecting the Gameboy that survived a Nuke to be included here.
Wait a minute, you forgot to mention a Game Boy that survived a bombing in the gulf war.
