- The Whiskey Long Island cocktail, created a mixologist called Seneca, is a variation of the original Long Island Iced Tea. And based on its name it has a lot of whiskey. Infact it combines Irish, Kentucky, and Tennessee whiskey to creat a very strong drink. Try it out, and let me know what you think.

WHISKEY LONG ISLAND
1.5 oz/45 ml Tennessee Whiskey
1.5 oz/45 ml Kentucky Whiskey
1.5 oz/45 ml Irish Whiskey
1 oz/30 ml Orange Liqueur
1 oz/30 ml Lemon Juice
1 oz/30 ml Lime Juice
1 oz/30 ml Simple Syrup
1-2 oz/30-60 ml Coke
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to a pint glass filled with ice.
2. Mix.
3. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

NOW WE'RE TALKING!!! David, this WILL be in my recipe book when I get home!! Finally a use for the " lower grade whiskeys " I have besides using them for soda and whiskey drinks😂.. I'll be having a celebration party next weekend for my new position as a driver for Walmart out of North Texas ( 50 miles from my home in Oklahoma) and a couple of my friends have ruined good Bourbon ( Eagles Reserve and Larceny) with ( UGGGGGHHH / GRRRRR ) 🤬😖 .. Almost sounds like a tiki drink where the rum is split between type but this is using Whisk(e)y . Does sound interesting, use to like rye and coke

Probably one cocktail I'll never make, because while whisky is my liquor of choice, I don't drink to get drunk.
I don't blame you at all. Normally I sip whiskey on its own.
I'm a fan of long island iced thea. I'm never afraid to try some variations like the tokyo ice thea or the adios m***erf***ker. I'm gonna try it someday

I’ve gotta say, I’m going to try this, but I must say beforehand I am not responsible for what I do next. Not sure what it will be. But it wasn’t me 😂🤣 All kidding aside. Could you do a drink where you use the sweet and sour mixture but only use one whiskey and then the Cointreau for a cocktail? But would that be too much citrus and only one whiskey wouldn’t balance it enough?
That would depend. You could make a sour out of this.but it would be interesting.

It is a tad much. for me as well.
At the end i noticed you said 3.5 oz of whiskey but you were measuring 1.5oz of 3 different whiskeys which would be 4.5oz of whiskey lol the drink would probably be more balanced if it were 3.5oz.
I realized that afterward. Oh well.and that is quite possible.
David i think AMF version of this drink with everything same except sprite instead of coke might be better, you think? You said it yourself it needs bit more citrus. Thoughts?
Quite possibly, however the list of ingredients in the AMF could push it way out of wack or it will work out.
