I've been devouring TWI since November, and I'm nearly caught up. (I would be caught up, but I have to wait for my Audible credits to hit. 😂 I did use some Christmas money to buy extra credits so I could power through more of it.
Tryst me, I know the credit waiting feeling. I wish I could write off the money I spend on audible in my taxes, but my accountant said it wouldn't be feasible.
I second the recommendation for Dawn of the Void. To me it is the best book conveying the actual horror with something like an "integration"; the panic, the despair, the death. It is dark, yet not completely bleak.

@@FantasyInk it is really good. Way less “fun“ than many stories of its kind, I feel, but more honest, deeper, more raw. I am looking forward to hear if the sample will catch your interest :)
