    ¡Hola buenas tardes Paul! Whether it’s a line side hut or a low relief Travelodge, your final product is always completely believable. Attention to the smallest detail is key and, your research proves this. I’ll be interested to see which route you choose for lighting (can’t think why 😃) and, hopefully a safe passage to David will be sourced. Probably a little ferry ride would be an answer? As ever, stay safe and well. Un saludo. Gary

    • @GalgormHall
      @GalgormHall  Před 3 lety +1

    Thanks a lot, great ideas in there. I can use a plenty of these ideas for my early diesels sheets. I highly recommend your use of acetone to glue the thin plastic card.
    As I do build 1893-1913 I think of filling I beams with brickwork.
    But do you know if this would be contemporary prototypical for an early XXth century engine sheet in GB???
    Aren't there any inspection pits to be build under the tracks?

    • @GalgormHall
      @GalgormHall  Před 3 lety

      Thank you NGI. With regards I beams in your brick work it’s hard to know. I passed an old factory building today that was built in just that way yet my old engine shed that’ll be built as part of the main station scene didn’t have that construction method applied.
      Inspection pits weren’t included as part of the build as they will be installed in to the baseboard of the layout if the modeller chooses to follow this approach.

    That was brilliant Paul, ok it's not my era but I still enjoyed it. Amazing build, going to look great on your layout.
    Are you aware of where you can purchase glazing sheets. I will eventually be building Bognor Regis railway station which has a large glass canopy and I earmarked a company on my PC as they did all size window panes etc in glazing frames. Now the page no longer exists and for the life of me I can find no company that sells anything like that, only large plain sheets of clear plastic.
    Regards Chris

    • @GalgormHall
      @GalgormHall  Před 3 lety

      Thank you Chris, it’s not going on my layout, it’s destined for Cottesmore. It’s out of my era too but it’s always nice having a go at modern image builds.
      As to glazing sheets I bought my clear plastic from Slaters. I find if it’s taped down to a sheet of plain paper with the lines drawn on it for window sizing it makes it very simple to cut. Paul
