  • I wanted a greenhouse for one of my gardens and of course you can buy kits to suit the purpose but where’s the fun in that? In this video I run through a quick demo on building your own version.

    The joy of scratch building is making exactly what you want how you want it, especially when one has your high level of skill. My days of scratch building are probably in the past, unless the new meds suddenly help. It is always a joy to see what you create and how sharp it is when done! Great work, sir!

    I've made a hash of glazing frames on everything I've scratch built for the layout so far - every window frame or panel on the wonk, glue smudges, much swearing and buildings ruined by shoddy glass. Lay it out over a paper plan - now what didn't I think of that! Got a few scratch building projects coming up (including a greenhouse), but going to go back and fix the glazing in the ones I've already done thanks to watching your work. Looking forward to watching some of the many videos on your channel. Thanks for taking the time to film and upload - all the best, Colin. Subbed.

    • @GalgormHall
      @GalgormHall  Před 2 lety

      Hi Colin, thanks for the sub. The glazing I’ve done here is by no means perfect and as I mentioned in the video the use of Glue and Glaze would probably be preferable to plasti weld and certainly superglue but I was trying to rush through for the purpose of the video. The drawing beneath certainly helps for added precision though. Best of luck with the projects. Paul

    • @clipperrail8988
      @clipperrail8988 Před 2 lety

      @@GalgormHall Looks a whole lot more perfect than any glazing I've been doing so far. Keep meaning to buy glue and glaze - I've heard good things about it. What I have bought is a set of right angle magnetic clamps to glue walls together at 90 degrees. They've made assembling buildings so much easier - at least it's one less area on the wonk.
