Some random channel popped up in my feed the other day blasting this show. I don’t remember the channel, but it was a really small one. There were 4 guys at a round table. If the council is unaware of the twin's existence, this further highlights the Jedi's arrogance taking young children from their families. Whoever found her, never bothered checking with the family. Identical twins could both be strong in the force, yet the Jedi didn't really do a deep check!
I do think that the twin theory also gives more credibility to the theory that the smuggler guy talking to Mae at the start of the trailer about how the Jedi are bad and peace is a lie is the masked Sith Lord. It’s very likely that he is either the master or apprentice who is trying to recruit the angry Mae as his acolyte/new apprentice.

My idea about Season 2 if Mae becomes the next Sith apprentice is more like we thought Season 1 would be. The Jedi take a backseat and the main plotline focuses on Mae's Sith training. Eventually, as a final test she's sent to kill a Muun who's powerful in the dark side. She fails, but survives. She realises that failure means death, so she flees. Darth Tenebrous then makes the Muun his new apprentice.
If there's a third season or they decide to continue Mae's story in some other way it should be about her redemption.
This breaks continuity.

Yoda finds about it through this show and keeps it a secret. Covers it up and says it’s a dark Jedi. Doesn’t want to make the Jedi look weak.

Excellent theory! Almost exactly the way I see it going down. I believe Mae only makes it as far as apprentice. The fact that every Star Wars channel recognizes at least 2 Sith Lords prior to Sidious, makes Master Kundi's statement merely a generalization, or a deliberate feigned ignorance so that the other members don't get the beans spilled. I believe Plagueis kills Mae. I am really looking forward to this show. New Star Wars needs to repair its legacy a little. Thus will be a great start.
I bet the twins are descendants of the path and nihil. This is their last effort to dismantle the jedi by injecting a double agent. They have a “mother” and the group carries a scepter I think is the rod of seasons or power. Tenebrous uses this to his advantage and the grand plan.

I feel terrible for saying this or even thinking it, The trailers go to far!..... After watching Tails of the Empire, I realized that almost everything of substance was in the trailers and by the time I finished watching Tales, Only Episode 6 came with any new story. Basically Everything is laid out in the trailer and everything not in the trailer (minus E6) was filler. I do not know how to process that thought?

As for Leslye Headland - I am yet to see any comment about her previous creative work. Did anyone bother to watch "Russian doll"? Apparently not. Making your own opinion requires effort. And why bother, when some youtuber can just instruct one who to hate and why.

The absence of good story telling with representation as a substitute is the reason that there is not gonna be a season 2. And the reason that leslie H us getting fired from every single project that she's pretty much working on. They could have actually planned something out with representation and told a good story, but they didn't. That's the reason this is getting canceled. That's why Lucas film is hammering money. And that's why Hasbro is going bankrupt because of contracts. They signed with disney over this poop sandwich. LH Told the fans to go away so we did and now it's over.

He was hinted that in the first trailer and what we saw from that is all we pretty much got to see of him so disappointing in my opinion

I try to pretend it's my first introduction to the characters. For me TotE Vader is just a cape on a throne. Continuity is one thing but canon has become a crutch for poor narrative.

@@Danjen3ifyAgreed. When Qui-gon tells the council he just encounters a Sith on Tatooine they tell him (what he just experienced) is "impossible." I could see the Jedi council being skeptical (mixed with denial) if some claim they encountered a Sith in this show with little tangible evidence.

Something is just not clicking with this show. The 'alien' characters are very few which makes no sense in a galaxy of thousands of planets, then the motivation (if true) for this new apparent 'villain' is stupid, and if she is apparently this crazy powerful villain who can kill all the jedi, it's very unconvincing. You mean to tell me nobody knew their own jedi had a twin sister, like she never told anyone and not even the jedi master knew that about his own padawan...? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Star wars and all sci fi has always used contemporary politics to tell a story. Imperials are literally based on Facist powers from ww2. The whole galactic Civil War was the confederacy vs the Republic. Star Trek does it, Battlestar does it. Blade Runner, Dune, even Tom Swift... Based on contemporary politics.

They had to destroy the story that came first. They could have done good storytelling with representation but they didn't. It went from inspiring and giving hope to. Then there's the time the Critical Drinker changed the name of his House of the Dragon trailer reaction from "No One Cares About House of the Dragon" to "House of the Dragon Trailer Breakdown and Review" AFTER the show came out and everyone realised how good it was. That's because he's smart enough to realise that dunking on a popular show is only going to lead to him losing subscribers.
