I know that the new canon is not obligated to follow Legends canon, but stuff as fundamental as what species a character is should be adhered to. That's why I think that Tenebrous should be a Bith, and Plagueis should be a Muun.

Darth Tenebrous’s master dies between 167-124 BBY in canon, according to Wookieepedia. Has to be a generation or two before Tenebrous, his Master or Grand-Master if Acolyte is supposed to be 132+ BBY. Could lead into Tenebrous and Plagueis if the show does well!

I think it's Torbin, as wild as that sounds. In the final seconds, looks like you can see one jacked up/ silver looking eye in the slit of the mask...
1. Only person we've seen with a jacked up eye is Torbin.
2. He technically dies off screen, and we see his body. The whole "sleeping too deep to sense vitals" is a big trope in movies.
3. It's suggested Mae was trained by a jedi... Torbin is a Jedi.
4. He floats down in the background before igniting his saber, only character we've seen floating for extended periods is Torbin.
5. Torbin took the Barash Vow, which in Legends, one of the reasons to take the vow and cut yourself off from the order for a period of time, was after a traumatic experience with the dark side so you didn't inadvertently spread things like hatred, fear, etc. around the order.
I'm so hyped for the Sith Lord.

Did anyone notice that Carrie Ann-Moss's character being revived or waking up from something in the early trailers for this show? I think she's still alive, she's either the Sith Master or one of the Sith "Plageuis or Tenebrous" revived her using the midi-chlorians, that she's a VERY important character in the series.....She wouldn't have signed on to do the show if she only had one scene that her character died.....She's such an iconic legend in the history of film, they wouldn't have done her dirty!

I'm under the impression that the Sith we see in the preview is Darth Tenebrous' apprentice.
Tbh I have a theory that the Sith in the preview is Tenebrous himself, but he’s still just the apprentice at this time
I truly believe they’re going to go the “Ventress and Dooku” route so to speak with Mae trying to become Tenebrous’ Sith Acolyte, I think by the seasons end she will have either done that or even darker Tenebrous has recently killed his master making him the Sith Master and Mae his first Sith apprentice, who (in a slight rewrite of cannon) he dubs Darth Venamis
But then again I could be wrong because 100 years before TPM is but isn’t a long time, Palps is born basically 15 years after the time this show is set in (if it’s exactly 100 years) , someone said Plageius would be about 15 during the events of the show, so I guess I’m just not sure how much time that theory leaves to play with given that Plageius has to usurp Tenebrous at some point and find Palpatine
@@jaylenreed2313 i think that in acolyte time which is as you said 100 years before TPM i think it was stated that plagues was 125 years old when palpatine killed him but if they dont retcoon that he will be 25 years old in the acolyte.

Idk I feel like 100 years was a good amount of time but at the same token I feel like they could’ve went back a full 110-120 years just to give more of a time gap, because it’s not exactly clear when Tenebrous killed his master to become the Sith Master, and I guess that then posits it’s possible he had an apprentice before plagueius

i dont believe for a second she's read the plaegius novel these people don't care about the continuity of the franchise. Its all about them and their characters and the story they want to tell. Thats it everything else gets thrown out the second they feel like it.
Star Wars executive producer Simon Emanuel revealed in an interview with SFX Magazine that The Acolyte brought on action designer Chris Clark Cowan, one of the minds behind the incredible Darth Vader hallway scene in Rogue One. Emanuel explained:
"So I introduced Leslye to a guy called Chris Clark Cowan, who was our action designer, and part of the team who worked on the Darth Vader sequence in Rogue One. Leslye and Chris completely fell in love, and action became such a component of this story. For me, it's the best action the franchise has seenand there's so much of it."

@@StewBedazzle am a big Star Wars fan and I’ve never gone with trends, what can I say am not a sheep. I’ll rate it after the last episode. It wouldn’t surprise me when people watch with low expectations they will probably enjoy the show a lot better.

The Sith won’t be revealed unless they break canon. Tenebrous can still be in the show working in the shadows and not be revealed to the Jedi but us the audience.

This may or not be a reach but my theory is that this is one of the first Sith to reveal themselves but after the events of this show, the Jedi council decides to cover up the news of any Sith returning and keep it off record. Which is why in the phantom menace Master Mundi thought they’ve been gone for a Millenium.

The "sith" looks like a woman to me (and we know how Disney works in this regard...). My guess is that it will not be an actual sith and Disney is playing a game of teasing us (just look at the shots in the trailer). I am afraid that he is either a nostalgic sith claimant or the leader of the Knights of Ren. Either way, I don't have much faith in this series.
Will probably wind up being the Zabrak witch.

Interestingly enough, Darth Venamis (spelled that way, not venomous) was Tenebrous’ other contender besides Plagueis for his apprenticeship. Could the resemblance to venom be a not-so-subtle hint at his identity as Venamis?
