- A club with Premier League pedigree and Wembley finals in their not-so-distant past, Bradford City are a club that feel they aren't where they supposed to be.
With 18,000 fans at Valley Parade and Mark Hughes at the helm, things are finally looking up for the Bantams and they have promotion firmly in their sights this season.
League Of 72 went inside the famous West Yorkshire club, to get a flavour of the optimism and an idea of how the claret and amber will take on the 2022/23 campaign.

I remember when I was a teen in the early 2000s and I saw (younger)kids wearing these long scarfs with claret and amber and I thought "Where did all these Bradford fans come from?"
Later on I realized that they were in fact not supporting Bradford AFC, but wearing Gryffindor scarfs... 😛
I cared about football, not magic YA novels, but for one moment I thought there where hope for the youngsters coming up and not just supporting ManU, L.Pool or the like, but nooooo ;)

the seats are being replaced bit by bit. The stands and concourses are all freshly painted for the new season. I'd rather we spent money on players than £200,000 or whatever on new seats all at once!
Definitely a club in the wrong division with the stadium and fan base you have and should be at very least in the division above if not higher!

Obviously Us Owls of course too all have been there and got the facilities and fans to potentially get back to The Premier league! Or the Championship at least!
Us and the other teams I mention are much bigger than some small town teams who have had good Premier league run!
And the more Yorkshire derby's the better I say!
