When are they going to build Marcelo Bielsa's statue outside Elland Road? Without him, it simply wasn't possible. What a man, what a team, what a history! Amazing! Congratulations, all the Leeds fans. It's been far too long coming!

Apart from a q/final leg against M/City in the F A cup, (when they won it) never experienced a better atmosphere at Leeds. the jocks sure love going t'England. Same when the blue peeps came down.... Added extra, no aggro. ( in those days, it was rife.. in England, any way }

I was a Leeds United season ticket holder for ten years aged 10 to aged 20, I then left university- Leeds got relegated and ever since that moment I have used the story of Leeds United as motivation for myself to improve get better and fight everyday to succeed and live the life I dreamed of as a boy. today I'm 37 in October and with this determination i'm better than ever before stronger, fitter, independent and deeply fulfilled in my day to day life. Seeing what Bielsa has managed to do with the club and the team the last two seasons is so moving, I'm confident with the right mentality in the club to always strive for individual and collective improvement alongside doing things responsibly we will stay in the premier league for the rest of my life. COME ON LEEDS.

It's a bit late I know, but coming from a Millwall fan that means a lot. I've been Leeds since I was 10 and saw us get robbed by Chelsea in the '70 Cup final replay. Feels weird not to be hated any more. You were spot on about Fulham and The Baggies. All the best for next season.

Thanks, Kieron. Leeds were better than I thought and were a breath of fresh air with an excellent style and Manager. I hope they go from strength to strength m8.:)Funnily enough my best prediction ever in 40 years of Gambling was Sheffield United. I predicted on many of their pages b4 a ball was kicked exactly what would happen if they did not get strikers as they surprised every team last season but top teams learn QUICKLY and with no strikers, I said they would lose most Home games 0/1 or 0/2 and get little away but have the odd "battling" 1/0 Home win. God Luck !

@@Isleofskye Totally, the Blades, or blunts as we call them, lived up to their name. We are still light up front, I feel, Bamford needs some help with scoring at times.
In all my years as a Leeds fan I've never seen so much goodwill from fans of other teams, even Mancs. Some of them had a change of heart when Leeds management took a stand during the European Super League fiasco.
I remember as a kid the way we played in the Revie era, it feels like that again. We are definitely not the finished article but the foundations are there. After 15 years of crap ownership and management it's a good feeling. Tips for next year?

Diarise your request and I will say just Pre-Season. This will be my 60th year of attending though it's deceptive as I have never lived with any Woman currently over 43 so I, genuinely, feel more like 50 but when it comes to Football enthusiasm I have to pace myself. I still love the game but hate VAR with a vengeance as I am used to non-stop momentum and continuity and VAR's forensic football can kill that but I will say in August, my friend. :)

    Hello from Pietermarizburg, South Africa
Supporting this marvellous football club since 1969 when Billy the King lifted our first top-flight league title at Anfield.
Leeds United has a special association with South Africa. It was one of the first clubs in
England to open its door to local players of colour, during apartheid: Gerald Francis (1959 -
1961) is the first Black player to sign professionally for the club, followed by the late Albert
Johannesen (1961 -1970), the first Black player to play in an FA Cup final (1965). More
recently, Davide Somme and the late Phil Masinga also served the club with distinction.
The most famous, of course, is the legendary Lucas Radebe who captained the club. Radebe has been accorded the freedom of the city of Leeds. The club also offered trials to 17 year old Bernard “Dancing Shoes” Hartze in 1967 at a time when European clubs were reluctant to consider players from Africa.
Leeds United enjoyed massive local support during its glory days. Sadly, many “supporters”
abandoned the club - jumped ship - during its bleak years to pursue the fortunes of more successful teams.
Marching on together towards a new epoch!

I hope we keep this stability now and get back to those heady days of European football, this is more exciting now then the run in to the old Div 1 title and that was incredible under Sgt Wilko.

Watching Ridsdale makes me so angry. “We lived the dream”. Yeah, until he turned it into a 16 year f*#%ing nightmare. I would happily have swapped the CL runs for a sustained presence in the PL. He cost us dearly. What Radrizzani and Bielsa have done to get us back is nothing short of miraculous. MOT

Dean Shepherd - it’s the manager’s/coach’s job to do the best with the players available to them. They can request players, but it’s the owners and management’s job to provide them within the club’s means. It’s Ridsdale’s fault 100%. You can’t pin it on O’Leary. As others say here, let’s hope that our spending this summer is within our means. I think so, because Radz can underwrite a certain level of spending with his own fortune.

I'm not even from Leeds, but I've breathed Leeds United since Billy Bremner was captain towards the end of the Revie era. I took it for granted that Leeds would always be in the top flight (who didn't?). The O'Leary days were grand, but because of those up top, the ultimate price of not striking gold came back to haunt us in an awful way. 16 years!! You've got to hand it to Bielsa. Two seasons under him and we're back! It's good to see the "welcome back" comments from the fans of the big clubs because Leeds should have always been up there with them. Here's to all who've stuck by them through the years down below. Shame it has to start off in empty stadiums, but let's hope it's a decent year back up in the Premier League. Good luck to Leeds United!!
