The Scrapwood Challenge is over the halfway mark! :)
I needed an easier project today as the last few of days have been full on! I still didn't finish editing this one til 11pm though.
Btw this is a very difficult puzzle to solve! I've provided a clue that makes it much more achievable!

It's not a solution but will give you a step up.
For a solution - I revealed that in a very fast sequence in the video. It was fast in case you didn't want to see it. On youtube you can pause the video then move forward frame by frame by pressing the '.' key on your keyboard. Press ',' key to go back a frame.
When I've posted this puzzle on Instagram I've received comments and messages asking to do a video on it so that's why I included it in the challenge. And it really does only take scraps to build.

Nice. Watching along I couldn't help thinking back to being a kid trying to solve wooden puzzles at a local maze and puzzle place I used to visit occasionally on Phillip Island. Twas a lot of fun, until I got stuck in the maze and it began bucketing down with rain 🌧🌧🌧

Absolutely brilliant idea, Your on a roll
There is a blade that gives a v cut. It is used to leave about a 1/32" or so of wood not cut. The wood is then bent at those cuts and you have a continuous grain box. Your tool can probably do that also. Especially if you wet the corners. Then you can cut the 45 Deg. leave a bit and just bend the box into shape. Don't have to cut all the way through then glue and tape it back together.
Worth a try.

I have one of those miter saws I inherited from my grandpa when he pass3d who wàs an exceptional woodworker. How do I sharpen the blade?

It's a mitre guillotine usually used by picture framers. You could cut very thick pieces as you're only taking a little off at a time. :)
Sorry if I missed it earlier in your challange...but what kind of wood is this? And how did you get such a nice pile of "scrap"?

Maybe you've answered this before, but i've noticed all your scrap wood has the same design thru out, what is it that you build that leave scrap all looking the same?
Since I have zero woodworking skills, I think I'm just going to 3D model the puzzle and CNC mill and 3D print it
...and that's why you have zero woodworking skills. lol
this literally only takes a miter box, a coping saw, glue, tape, and a clamp. (drill optional)
you could do it, and your fifth one will be perfect.

Whenever I watch these videos, I always wonder what he makes that always requires those rectangular cutouts with rounded corners. It's like 90% of that pile are those oddly shaped scraps.

Why you are not using your miter saw?
You could use the mitre saw but if you have a guillotine, why not use it! :)
