Both sound really good...the Subi is just really unique sounding
I personally have a 10 wrx making 321/319 to the wheels tuned by TPG and the exhaust at that power level isn’t a restriction at all as long as you have the DP, my friend is making 770/610 fully built STI on a 3in turbo back exhaust, so if you like the sound now, no need to change you won’t see power gains from the catback, invest that money in flex fuel setup since you have pump and injectors already

I agree 💯% these are completely different cars,but both are great in there own way. I also have always liked Subaru's and prev owned one.There is something about that Boxer engine that sounds so good , I Regret selling it all the time specially during ski/snowboard season ! My passion is Z all the way. Great content Danny ,and your Z is looking great.
I love this video! WRX STI is my fav 4 cylinder and 350/370 or G35/G37 is my fav V6 car! Danny’s Z never gets old 🔥 and that subie is “rally” clean 🔥😍

Before I was looking to buy a car 4 years ago....I was looking for a Sti or Z....After driving both,,,I fell in love with the Subie Awd launch. But the Z is also an amazing car.

Both sound epic, but I’m not the biggest fan of the popping noises. I’m more into the deep growling/purring noises that you get with certain exhaust modifications
When was the last time your wheel bearings were changed? I just change my is in my gas mileage went up by a lot

I think the Z has a louder sound but the Subaru sounds more aggressive. Just my opinion and I own and drive a Z but Subaru cars are excellent cars and they are making them more sporty.

I'm a zociety fan and have a nice 05 fairlady,but that subie sounds sick ,I'm Danny to but if you turbo that z she'll beat the shit out of that subie , zociety rocks
Hey Danny you could still throw in some Headers and or upgrade your Upper and Lower intake manifold or both but you will have to re tune lol those will definitely shoot you up to 360+ wheel

Lu Kim They actually won’t help all that much. I know a few people now that have installed the z1 ported manifolds and headers and actually made less power than they did with just the basics. Definitely won’t get 360 wheel.
Speed Culture Studios okay 1. Those are a few people and You don’t know what type of tune they had and what other mods they used with it. 2. The only way you lose power is if your allowing too much air because the port heads weren’t measured correctly and people think this is a plug and play type thing but it wouldn’t even be that much of a lost. 3. I never said just these three things will get you 360 wheel I said with what ever existing mods you have and maybe e85 with another TUNE because there are bad ones you will get 360+ wheel you making it seem like that’s turbo power these stock blocks aren’t weak and can get those numbers
Lu Kim Well it’s a different story if you go e85-that might be possible. But there are several examples out there showing the ported manifolds with other bolt ons still won’t get you 360 wheel. These VQs just don’t respond to ported manifolds or headers. I wasn’t making up examples-I actually know the people that had the headers and manifolds installed so I do know the other mods they had in combination. None hit over 345 wheel with a retune. Even z1-it’s their package-didn’t make over 345 on their own demo car. I wish they did make a difference! It’d be nice to hit 350+ but it’s just tough. Thinking hard about going e85 though. Wife doesn’t want me to, but still might lol.
That livery is not necessary with just a few bolt on mods
