Richard Parker-Bowles, brother of Camilla's ex-husband, Andrew Parker-Bowles, was quoted by the Mail Sunday newspaper as saying his sister-in-law saw Diana as easy to manipulate and no threat to her place in Charles' heart.
Camilla initially encouraged the relationship between Charles and Diana because she thought Diana was gormless (stupid). She never saw Diana as a threat. Over the years, Camilla did intimate to him that she thought Diana was either half-witted or quite mad. She thought Diana was someone whom she could manipulate, he said. He said he felt sorry for Diana, adding: "The fact is that if Camilla had been a child on the beach, she would have knocked other children's sand castles down. She is a wrecker at heart. She doesn't like to see other people happy".

If only Diana knew how to offer more than just her youth to prince Charles -he needed companionship, someone to share his interests, to understand him more . She wasn't able to do any of this !!! 1*Camilia "s father and grandfather were journalist and even authors

6* According to print publicity on her relationship with Kevin Burke lasted for 1 year and she ditched him instantly when Simon brother of Andrew Parker Bowles introduced them in 1965
7*that relationship was very modern as both had many other partners in between til her father advertised the Engagement that never took place .
8* As he was a Brigadier he agreed. To the marriage in 1973 this lasted for 22yrs although she was adulterous 9* Untill her father Mr Bruce Shand had a discussion with Prince Charles about the scandal and publicity his daughter was facing 10* Daughter. Imagine a 63 yr old grandmother got her father to get her Royal lover to marry her
11* At this time she was not even divorced as she loved Andrew Parker Bowles
12* Till today Andrew Parker Bowles is part of the * New Royal Family * It seems like a divorce of Convinience and glory
14* With all her connections with media Princess Diana was followed trolled and chased to her death
Princess Diana had Publicised that * I want my husband back" when she confonted Camilia
15* How very sad to see the future Queen of England stoop so low as to beg for her husband to save her marriage
16* All the wicked words Camilia teased Princess Diana which were published
How can anyone say that Camilia a woman who was then 36 yrs older than Diana was not the cause of Prince Charles wrecked marriage
We must also take note all the bad luck that befell the British Monarchy since her father forced the marriage
Lord Mountbatten died in a bomb blast may be not attacked by IRA as himself confidently said who wants an old soldier Lord Mountbatten sent Prince Charles far away and was keen for his grandaughter to be Prince Charles wife .
Then it was Princess Diana her car accident was reported to be caused by a bomb and the damages were not from impact Immediately after her death Camilia moved in to live with Prince Charles
Media Corruption was glaring as pressure and insults of the Royal family took centre stage
Then we have the scandal of Prince Andrew again negative and biased publicity was the cause of his downfall
Then we have the Sussexes a favourite target of the Media
    Camilias family lived in Sussex
Does she want to own the Sussex County
The media can speculate and character Assinate the Royals but are they setting approvals
for young girls or old woman to go break marriages and do whatever it takes to grab the wealth power and status even if it is Royal household
What is accepted as Culture tradition and human

Under house arrest? Makes it sound as though this was some kind of real “punishment” because of her affair with Charles. No punishment for her or Charles. The attention of the press and world was brought about because of their own actions. The marriage of Diana and Charles might have ended in any case, but it was the way Charles and Camilla behaved that caused such a problem. She was married and Charles was in love with a married woman. He knew that as heir in line to the throne, and head of the church, he could not marry a divorced woman, even if she were to divorce her husband. So, not willing to give up the throne, he sought out a suitable marriage partner, while still carrying on his love affair with Camilla, and she with him. They had conversations about how it would all work after he was married. This is the part that is so difficult for Charles to live down. He’s marrying a suitable young girl, naive about how royal life worked, while in love with another woman. On Camilla’s part, she was obviously in love with Charles, carrying on their affair while married. Camilla’s husband makes Charles feel at home when he comes to visit, knowing his wife was involved with him? How very civilized of him. So vows of marriage for Camilla meant nothing, long before Diana entered the picture. Indeed, those vows meant nothing to either of them. Why then should we be shocked when he marries Diana, and plans to continue his affair with Camilla? And, knowing this relationship, Camilla takes over as a charming friend to advise Diana. What a backstabbing, spineless person, along with Charles, in getting married knowing his heart had been given to Camilla, long before. So, let’s put some blame on Diana for not realizing that Charles was never going to give Camilla up? No way in the world should this be in question. And, the Queen and head of the Church knew? What a black hearted scheme. Each was willing to make a go of it? Don’t think that was Diana’s thinking when she married. This look into the royal scheme of producing an heir, shows the way the royals tried to manipulate the lives of so many around them, to suit their own ends. It is an insight thinking of both the royal family, Charles and Camilla, and even the Church of England. If Diana became a loose cannon, it was probably not what the royals ever envisioned. And, if that loose cannon publicly aired their dirty linen, unlike people in past scandals, I’m sure they thought it would all pass in due time. What they didn’t envision, was the human face Diana put on the royals, and how much love they felt toward her. They saw Diana as a troublemaker and unstable woman, who wasn’t going quietly into the night, and that she indeed was. Good for her. Finally a little comeuppance for the royals, balancing out the scales of justice, just a very little. What a mess Charles made of his life.

A prince who thought it would be ok to marry someone he didnt love, lie to her, and have her give birth to his children all because he was too much of a wimp to go against the monarchy and marry his true love. She was no snow-white lamb either, she loved the attention and the public's affection because she came from a broken home, abusive parents, absent mother, careless siblings (her very own sister only told her about Charles' love for Camilla one day before her wedding to him). She also started using her power over the public early on in her royal life, she used to bully Charles because people wanted to meet her more than him and she knew exactly how it hurt Charles' feelings.
They both hurt each other a lot and the divorce was a breath of fresh air for everyone. Diana could still be alive and happy today if that horrid car accident didn't happen and maybe Camilla would be better accepted if people relaized that Charles and Diana were never meant for each other and they were better off after the divorce. Maybe he saw nothing wrong with having mistresses since his family like previous kings and princes had them too.
Poor Diana so young and caught up in all that and just excepted to accept it and play her role, she did love him and even confronted her asking her to leave her husband alone but Camila wanted that life and was very jealous of Diana and in the end she did get what she wanted but she isn’t loved and adored or viewed as beautiful by the public and the press like Diana was and still is.

Did I hear that right, that she played no part in the destruction of Charles and Diana's marriage??? What kind of drugs are the editors smoking or mainlining to make such a liabelist statement??? I want some of those drugs. Camilla has never been a beauty, ever, not even when she was young, She has the unfortunate face that is far to masculine to be considered a beautiful woman. It don't help that she hasn't updated her hair style in sixty years, or the clothes she wears. Also doesn't help that her nose is always red from the amount of booze she drinks daily. Too bad the monarchy is going to allow this woman to stand beside Charles as his wife, despite them both being divorced. But its complicated, William could lose his spot, if Charles is removed as prince of wales. So the Brits put up with these lying cheating people. On account of Charle's sons does he maintain his spot as number one. And then if not Charles, then Andrew is also Divorced. Then Edward would be next, he has led a somewhat blameless life, but Anne could never be queen either due to her divorces as well. Seems, that Elizabeth cared more about being a Queen, than she did as a Parent. Cuzz three failures out of four, is not a great track record.
At least William and Harry seem to be content to remain beside their wives, and not carry on a long running affair after they got married. Hopefully The boys will remain married forever, and continue to inspire the world with their grace and common sense their Mother tried to instill in them, while the Firm tried harder to ruin those boys at the same time.

For heaven sake! This story is about how a treacherous, backstabbing man, Charles, thought he could have his cake and eat it too. And, about the woman, Camilla, who had the same instincts, dark as they were. No comparison to other unfair situations that exist in this world can be made simply because this stands as it’s own story. A story of human nature gone wrong, not starving children across the world.

@@glen7318 Let’s not put the cart before the horse, here. Diana was all of 19 when she got engaged and 20 when she got married. He was 32. Charles chose her, after discussion with Camilla, by the way, because they both felt she was both malleable and naive enough, to marry, produce heirs, and allow them to carry on their affair. The two of them picked her because of this. Can you imagine being chose by your future husband and his mistress as a wife?? And, on top of this, Camilla befriends Diana, and pretends to try to help her learn the ropes. Then, when she is still 20, she gives birth to her first child, and within two years, a second. So, by 22, she has helped Charles fulfill his marital obligations, which his family had been pressuring him about since his early twenties. She married Charles in good faith, assuming she was loved by him, rightfully so, and that he would support her in the ways a husband normally would. She did not know she was a means to an end, and that he, in fact, was really in love with someone else when she married him. So, she had an affair, too? She had a nervous breakdown, became bulimic, didn’t want to lose her kids, and tried to carry on for quite a few years. This entire fiasco was created by a spineless, spoiled man, who didn’t want to give up the throne for the woman he loved. He wanted it all. So, he lied when he took his marriage vows, deceived a still teen aged woman when he married her, and did, indeed, get it all. What he, nor the royal family, could ever have foreseen, was the impact Diana would have on the world at large, and her going public with the story. Her affair, or affairs, pale in light of the subterfuge, manipulation and deception that was inflicted on her by her then husband and those in the know. The people who were “nailed to the cross” for this were Charles, Camilla and the royal family, not Diana, for her affairs, and rightfully so.

The choice to commit adultery caused so much pain, tragedy and sad consequences for generations to come. Now Camilla and Charles are happy, which lessens the negatives to some degree, but they will go down in history with this scandal attached to everything they do.

If i was William or Harry, I couldn't look at the homewrecker, no matter how much Charles has tried to make a sows ear acceptable!!

Yes, Diana did her husband and children wrong, and now her husband lives with the scandal that _she_ caused, that _she_ committed, that _she_ blamed on him. This is what people with Borderline Personality Disorder do.

The scandal doesn't detract from the fact that Charles has done a lot of good in his life and has made a couple of mistakes. Lets spare a thought for all those men and women who have also been similarly jilted and have also suffered . Adultery is nothing new and there are millions of women having adulterous relationships with men as we speak

You are so wrong and your brain is warf !
You must be a paid troll by Camilla to make her look good ! A home wrecker is a home wrecker no matter if you dresses her up in gold . She’s a nobody, not even close to Princess Diana . Diana is a the sweet Apple and Camilla the very sour lemons ( not even an orange ) . That’s how u compare the 2 . Diana , the noble woman from a noble family ! Camilla from a family of mistresses and home wreckers !!!

Damn, people so salty. Charles loved Camilla, not Diana. Get over it. Diana manipulated the narrative with the help of the press. Both Charles and Diana made mistakes but Diana was never held accountable by the public. People wanted the fairytale the pictures portrayed, not the truth.

This story talks about cowardice, betrayal, insincerity, deceiving, dishonesty. There s nothing honorable about this love story. there is no respect for Diana, no respect for their children, no respect at all.
they say in the video "She (Camilla) felt sympathy for the man who was miserable within weeks from the start of the marriage". Well, then make a decision ALREADY, take responsibility for your feelings toward another woman, and be respectful towards the mother of your children. He had to destroy poor Diana till the point she fell sick, rather than being coherent with his authentic self. Everyone makes mistakes. this was carried on and on and on.... i am curious to know why.
