I find it so pretentious to go talk and play with these kids and visit charities for like 1 hours or less and just get a few footage and photos with so many cameraman and photographers there filming and picturing every move and you do and you are well aware of it. It is not just the affair I just never felt any sincerity with her when she is with this charities. I can't see the passion on her eyes that she genuinely love to help these people. It all seem just work for her and that's it.

Diana was sure that she would marry Prince Andrew when she grew up. Her family took to calling her Dutch because they were also sure she would marry Andrew and become a Duchess. Once Diana realized that she could actually catch Charles, the chase was on and facilitated by her family.
Diana feigned interest in Charles’ interests and hobbies (Balmoral, fishing hunting, etc.)-basically, she pretended to be who Camilla is, a hunting, shooting, fishing, reading country girl. Then as soon as they were on their honeymoon (most of which was at Balmoral), Diana declared each of his interests as borrrring. When the honeymoon moved on to Balmoral she would have have fits of screaming and crying when he wouldn’t do what she wanted when she wanted him to do it (the court was at Balmoral for the summer so there was official business going on and many witnesses). After the honeymoon she proceeded to, one by one, separate him from his friends (he would give in to avoid conflict with her), then his staff (who would quit because she would not look at or speak to those she wanted to leave.
In her mind, she loved him, but then attempted to change everything about him, and if he wanted any kind of peace, he would comply. Diana and her family, particularly the Spencers, were very ambitious and misrepresented who she was to the RF, particularly regarding her emotional health & stability. The Spencer’s actually had a bit of a reputation for unstable men (Diana’s mom cited abuse in the divorce), but the RF didn’t think the mental issues affect the Spencer women. Diana actually refused to cooperate with mental health professionals provided by the RF when they realized how unstable she was, and wouldn’t accept mental health help for years (yes, the RF tried to get her professional help) until a friend threatened to out her bulimia to the press because she was afraid it would kill her.
And that is just how she treated Charles. As a grown woman she held hostility towards her mother for leaving her abusive father (her mother took Diana & her brother with her but lost custody), pushed her 60 year old stepmother down the stairs (long after Diana married btw), threw her stepmother’s things out the window in trash bags after her father died, fired one staff for claiming expenses with the palace for some trips with Diana (completely legitimate expenses), and fired another who was the currier delivering tapes to Andrew Morten for her for accepting reimbursement from the publishing company.
The virginal “Shy Di” persona was completely a creation of a press. A bit like the common impression that the Queen Mother “sweet ol’granny.”
Diana admitted to straying first from the marital bed, with her affair that began in 1985 with her protection officer, Barry Mannakee.
How sad that this woman that ruined Diana’s life got to attend her boys weddings by Charles’ side. I can’t imagine how hurt Diana would have been by that and how everything has played out

Now I know why the Palace have ultimately accepted Camilla. The woman is obedient. She does everything the Palace tell her to do. She is like a puppet. I always felt the queen and queen mother were culprits in the Camilla/Prince Charles/Princess Diana saga. Prince Charles Charles and Camilla were extremely compatible and fell in love very quickly but were not allowed to marry because Camilla was a commoner and not a virgin. I adore Princess Diana and hate that she was perhaps the greatest victim of the forced marriage.
It was tragic; the whole thing was tragic. In the end, I don't blame Charles, Diana, or Camilla for this disaster. They were pawns of a matchmaking scheme made by others. Diana, it goes without saying, got the worst of it. I don't think Charles regrets the marriage to Diana because he got two fine sons out of it, and, contrary to gossip, he did try to make the marriage work, but nothing could be done to rectify what was obviously a mismatch. The Royal Family didn't make the same mistake again with regard to Prince William. He picked who he wanted and made sure he made the right choice. So far it appears to have worked out.

I agree with Kari, and I'll state it further. Look at the situation. Charles COULD NOT marry again until he became a widower. He wanted Camilla as his wife well before Diana came into the picture. The reason he married Diana was for her lineage, her looks and her virgin womb, end of story. After giving birth to Harry, Charles was heard to say with a sigh of relief, "My job is done.". That doesn't sound like something a committed husband would ever say. Let's take a look at the car crash in Paris. Diana knew Charles wanted her dead. She even wrote to a friend that she feared for her life. The only survivor of the crash conveniently had a serious head wound, of the magnitude that amnesia of the event was eminently plausible. The driver was drunk and driving a poorly maintained car, and was speeding at 100 mph. The safe Mercedes was packed away somewhere for "repairs". Everything put together makes for a very thick plot. Why did it take so long for the emergency services to transport Diana to hospital? How long was it? 45minutes? an hour? Even so, she would most probably have died, but I'll state here again: the only way Charles could obey the Anglican Church and marry Camilla was if Diana was dead. It's all far too convenient for everything to have worked out so well for King Charles. Diana's sons however... Harry is a bona fide mess and needs a mother to give him everything that he missed after losing Diana. William became an adult the day his mother died and took 7 years to ask HRH Catherine to marry him. I don't wonder. It's not about petty or ugly, it's about Camilla being complicit in the mental health break of Charles wife. She was young, impression and fragile when Charles married her, and he broke his marriage vows. Camilla did the same and went back to Charles knowing he was married. Royalty or not, they were wrong and Diana was not taken care of as a woman, wife or mother in the firm. Whatever she did or didn't do, it was a result of how he and Camilla acted.
