  • I made a large DIY planter that. also serves as an outdoor coffee table using plywood steel mesh and Quikwall Surface Bonding Cement. This cement plaster has fiberglass strands in it and is super strong! This planter has a durable finish that allows it to be a modern outdoor furniture piece or it can be used inside.

I saw avocado until you said toilet. Now I see both. I don’t think it’s an issue. 👍🏼

This is one of the best ideas I’ve seen in awhile. I imagine a unique corner table, plant not in the way of one’s vision.

I can't unsee toilet anymore once you mentioned it. I already saw you making faux rock the same way and I really dig the idea.

I initially thought “awesome”... now I can’t unsee the “toilet”... I still love watching your projects though💚

It’s a pretty nice color and adds to the organic feel :)

As long as it doesn't look like an Avocado coloured toilet from a 1970s bathroom.

Every time Ben mentions the hotel project in my head I hear 'Makers Assemble!'.

Nice job! I've never worked with that cement before. I'll have to try it.

I'm imagining sculptural planters in and amongst the whalebone-looking windmill blades you mentioned on the Modern Maker podcast set against a red-rock backdrop.

Avocado when seeing it top-down in 2D, but toilet 100% when looking at it from the side in 3D

I don't see a toilet. I see 3 of these around an outdoor firepit in my backyard with my grandsons roasting hotdogs & pull lemons off the tress in the planters. That is a really unique idea that can be so versatile & mobile if need be. I'm not handy with power tools so maybe i can show this video to my daughter & grandsons & we can get the hubby to help us. He can do the labor & we will do the the clean up. Thank you for posting. Have a great week.
