Can you believe I made a diy coffee table!?! You know I don't like buying things I feel are overpriced haha. In this vlog I share the entire experience and steps we took to build this diy coffee table, a travertine coffee table from scratch for under $100! This is very easy to do by yourself or is a super fun experience with a friend. Little tools are required. However, I already owned a few tools such as a hand saw and hammer. If you don't already own these, the total cost might be closer to $150. But hey, that's a lot better than $1000+ am I right?

Yes you can! But if it is very heavy I am not sure on what type of base would be best to support it?

How did you conceal the edge of the table where you would see the tile and wood cemented together? It looks like you had small pieces of tile to cover along that strip around the table or was the paint jsut the perfect colour to pain on top?

You shouldn’t use regular spray paint on appliances that get hot … if anything, use high-heat spray paint.
