Intercooler for my B9 Audi S4! *EASIEST INSTALL*

- Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift! We are back at it with an intercooler install for the B9 S4. We decided to partner with ECS tuning again because we had such a great experience with their brake upgrade kit. It turned out that this install was so easy that we didn't even need to read the instruction guide. It's a super simple swap with very conveniently placed supporting brackets. The silver intercooler may stand out a bit more but I think it just adds an aggressive look that the S4 is lacking. And now we're ready to go to stage 2! We hope you enjoy!

I just binge watched this entire B9 S4 series because I'm possibly getting one myself soon and I learned so much. I love instructional videos like this where you actually see every step in detail. You should definitely get one I bought mine last March, and I loveeeeeeeee it. I upgraded from a 16’ WRX it’s just in another league, such a nice driving car, quiet When on the freeway, awesome creature comforts, way too much fun to drive.

I picked up a B8.5 RS5 late 2021 and although I will be keeping the car stock, I truly appreciate the content! Especially when it’s in South Etobicoke haha

Can you please do a P3 Gauge Install with the Hardwire Kit to the OBD port!? Maybe also installing the P3 Ethanol Kit? Thank you!
what do you think about the rev 9 intercooler? I just want to stay at stage 1 tune intercooler and intake

Do you think I could mix and match. Like you, I love the east bolt on intercooler from ECS. But if I install this one can I still use the stage 2 tune from IE?

@@shelbyhaiketic4212 That's insane haha, took us rookies 2-3 hours. Shop can get this done in an hour, maybe 1:30 tops.
Do you know if this will fit a 2019 S5 Sportback? The website says it doesn’t fit any of the B9’s but it still says “B9 S4” in the item description
Just took a look, it doesn't look like it fits the S5. Send an email to confirm
Any issues with adaptive cruise after? Did you disconnect battery from the car before this job?
you do not have to. just connect all connectors before turning car on.
Did not disconnect the battery, 2nd time removing the bumper and no issues

Is this fitting on audi a4 2017 b9 quattro?
I don't believe so, I would double-check on the ECS website. They definitely do make them for the a4 though! It's just a slightly different fitment
How come your front camera sticks out like that? the front camera on my S4 is pretty hidden under the audi rings, you can barely see it on mine, did you change your front camera?
Aftermarket RS grille utilizes a different camera housing
@@DailyDownshift does your ACC work perfectly? I’ve seen people say that ACC isn’t perfect after the RS grille is installed
@@morrisdauigoy583 Front sensor may go off once in a blue moon but other than that all good
I am wondering if you will feel any difference with just replacing the intercooler. I have stock already problem with heatsoak on my third pull. Cant imagine with a tune. Keep following😁
I feel like there's a difference but it's probably placebo

why intercooler from ECS and not from 034? since you are tunned stage 1 with them?
They don't make intercoolers
Well 034 sells Wagner Intercooler which cost basically twice as much.

@@DailyDownshift you ever plan on running e85? Just tried it for the first time today and MAN you gotta try it. Only on stage 1 with no mods and it’s already nuts

@@DailyDownshift yessirr here in Detroit we have e85 pumps everywhere, so it’s not an issue for me really. When do you plan on doing the stage 2? Also thoughts on stage 3?
