00:39 - Intro
Project Racing Green is my 1989 Rover Mini Racing Green that has had an official John Cooper conversion fitted by John Cooper Garages. The standard 998cc engine is boosted from 41BHP to 60BHP thanks to the engine upgrades. The upgrades include a polished and ported Cylinder head with enlarged valves, LCB exhaust system, Roller tip rockers, and Twin HS2 SU Carburettors. The interior enhancements include walnut door capping, walnut dashboard, alloy door furniture, and luxurious John Cooper emblem full leather GTS recliner seats. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Great idea doing the parts in two visits. You’re right you would have been up against it with the pair of doors in there too. Great finish.
Hiya Keith-you have made a brilliant job of spraying RG. Probably looks better than new. You look a bit better too. Keep well-keep going!
It’s gonna look awesome when you start reassembling 👍
Looking great Keith. That's going to be a fantastic looking Mini when you've finished.
Wow, that's some gleam on those panels. Well done Keith.
Fantastic!! Defs agree to painting both sides, lets be honest. All sides of Minis are worth looking spot on!
We have a F56 Cooper in the family in BRG and it looks good when the sun hits it!
White alloys are nightmare by the way.
Looking good, I wet the floor when painting to keep the dust down
Thanks 👍
Nice bit of paintwork
Looking good Keith
Nice shine Keith you're getting there great video
Excellent Keith,
Looks great 🎉
Thank you! 🤗
Good job there mate wise decision not to try putting to many coats on follow the data sheet it’s there for a reason too high a build up can cause solvent popping issues.👍👍😎
Again , top job.
Are you going to paint the engine to ?
Yes
Looking really nice, can i ask what sort of paint you used ? I will be respraying my TR7 once i've recommisoned our 1976 Mini 1000. Also, what DA did you buy ? Thanks 👍
Polyester base and 2k clearcoat. The DA was called Magnum i think, just a cheap 150mm DA off ebay
Great, thanks for the info, I'll start doing some research 👍 👍
You were on;y supposed to paint the bloody doors off !
LOL :)
Super 👍
Thank you 👍
