- Chicken coop part 2. We show how we built the nest boxes and doors for the chicken house. More of the framework for the run part of the coop. Feeding earthworms to our babies for a treat! They are really growing fast! Starting on the board and batt siding.
Be sure and check out our videos of the log cabin we built using trees from our land!

It is natural that this wonderful couple succeeded in building a hut because they have already succeeded in the greatest challenge in life, which is to continue their married life happily. I wish you all the best, blessings, health and wellness. I was so happy to watch you.
Thank you so much!😊💕
Lance and Cinda are master builders. I really like the looks of the coup.
Thanks Gary! It sure looks better than the old shed next to it🤣🤣It is getting torn down next😁

This coop is amazing but how is no one talking about Mrs. Cinda’s YOUTH!? Holy cow, I hope I am as strong as you are in a few years! ❤
😂😂Thanks! Building a log cabin will definitely help get you in shape. The chicken house was easy by comparison 😊I’m definitely feeling the years though😁
❤great job Lance and Cinda glad to see you’re back on here. Your a lucky man to have a great wife that likes to build with you
Thanks! We do enjoy working together! Hope you have a good week!😊👍
Wow! A mansion for the chicken…..again another beautiful work guys!
Thanks! We figured we might as well try to make it pretty😂
Such a beautiful coop Cinda and Lance . Obvious your chickens are going to be the most pampered most of us have ever had the privilege to watch grow up and produce. Can't wait for part 3. Thanks for taking the time to share. Best wishes, Deb
Thanks Deb! It’s part of our yard clean up project 😂😂We both tend to be hoarders, so it was nice to be able to use some of our leftover stuff to actually build something 😊Hope you enjoy your weekend 😊
A beautiful coop. You two are amazing. ❤
Thanks so much!😊💕
Wow that coop should last for years.
It is sturdy!😂😂
Great job Lance and Cinda. It's coming along together.
Thanks! It’s definitely easier than building a log cabin🤣
Great job on the coop - IMO this is the best chicken coop on the internet whether a commercial kit or custom design.
Thanks! We borrowed ideas from a lot of other people including Carolina coops. Then just put our own spin on it. We are really happy with it so far. Feel free to use it to do your own if you want😊👍
Great looking coop guy's !

Great looking chicken coop. I also like the Vero Beach t-shirt. That is where I currently live.
Thank you! Yes Vero Beach is a beautiful place. Our son and daughter in law live there. 😊
Hi Lance and Cindy
New subscriber
Compared to most coops I've seen, the one you're building looks like a palace
Wishing you the best of success in all you do.
Stay safe
Hi Jim. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I've been watching y'all for sometime and just figured out that y'all are from AR too! Love the shirt Lance! I'm on Crowley's Ridge near Jonesboro.

Yes, it’s been really nice here. Been getting a lot of work done since it finally quit raining! It’s been one of the wettest springs on record! Hope you are staying warm down under!🤣👍
Wooow you two are a great team 💪🐥🐤🐥🐤🐥🐤

Und natürlich wieder eine super Arbeit geleistet und richtig schön gemacht einfach Spitze 👏🏻🙂🤗🇩🇪🙋♂️😁😊😅👍
Thanks Josef😁👍
Wooow very nice 😍😍😍
Thank you!😊👍👍
Looking good! No one can ever say you guys didn't overbuild that coop...🙂
Yeah, it’s not going anywhere 😂😂
😃 My dad likes to overbuild as well...i think i see his thought process while watching you build this. Thought of every contingency. Oddly enough i grew up to be an interior designer who tries to think up ways to reduce material use without compromising structure integrity and aesthetics. Good job on the coop and the cabin! ❤
Very nice new subscriber can't wait to watch the rest of your videos :)
Hi Jerry. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing!😊👍👍
How's it feel Lance, you get the coop and that damn Cinda gets the log cabin. 😊
Coming along nicely.
Yeah, it would be a nice place to hang a hammock😂😂😜
I love your chicken coop. Do you have plans for it? I would love to build one like it.

Die kleinen freuen sich schon auf neue Haus🤣👍👌
Yes, they grow so fast! They are already needing room to try out their little wings😊
Hi Lance and Cinda, enjoyed watching Y'all work together, I was wondering if you had any build plans for your coop and run?
Thanks Jeff! We don’t have plans for it yet. We really need to do that, we’ve had a lot of requests.
About sealing. The Hardie backer in itself doesn't need any kind of sealer what so ever. What I meant was any kind of sealing would be to protect the wood you mount it on. Such as around the edges of the walls and where you butt two Hardie backer on the floor. Use some decent silicon. Anyway just wanted to clarify that.
Ok, that makes sense! Thanks!😊
Chicken cups
Великолепно 👍

This came to me last night…LOL….Margaret Hatcher
I had a chicken once that I called Pek Pek and then I found out in Papua New Guinea that translated to Poop Poop 😂😂😂 I decided it was ver appropriate 👌💕🇦🇺
😂😂Yes that’s appropriate for sure!😜👍

Chicken names: Ms. Chicken, Sunshine, Big Girl, Frida, Chicken Little, Abby, Bessie, Bossy, Pom Pom, Lady Bird, Daisy, Tinkerbell, etc. . kkkkkkkk. Indy thinks she owns the chicken coop. Have a nice weekend Lance and Cinda and thanks for posting the video.
Thanks Mary Jane! I have only been able to come up with about 5 and I have 14 chickens!! Thanks for the help😁😂👍
@@natureartgirl you're welcome 👍👍
Giesela just passed of old age. Had her for 9+ years and she was the best hen we ever had. Giesela schooled all the new chicks and she was the Mother hen for all of them. She passed May 28 / 2023 and it be nice her name be passed on in her honor.
Aww so sorry! You can sure get attached to them. They all have different personalities 😊Glad you all gave her a good life. Thanks for the suggestion. How is it pronounced? 👍
@@natureartgirl in English it be Geesela If you know someone who is German they will know how to pronounce it.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Enrico!😊
Hi nice work, can I ask you how much your expend all materials together?
The 1/2” hardware cloth is on Amazon right now for $139. Black coated. That is enough to do everything except the predator apron around the bottom on the ground. We spent about $500 total, but that is only because we cut all our own wood on our sawmill and we had some salvage metal roofing that we got years ago at an auction. One of our main expenses was the stain. So if you buy the wood and roofing new, it would be considerably more. We may have detailed plans in the future, just haven’t had time to draw them up. 😊
What a Beautiful Woman.........
😁😁
"The Coop Deluxe"

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇹🇷
Thank you!😊👍
Princess Layer, General Tso
Nice!😂😂👍👍
Do you have any grit for chicks? Give them grit for chicks to break down the bugs and worms in their crop if you haven't already.
Yes, that is super important! I actually bought some small chick grit since they weren’t on soil yet where they could find their own. Good suggestion for anyone new to raising chicks. Thanks so much!!😊👍👍
hello
Hi Steve!😊
Call them "chuck chuck" from Scotland 🙂 I hope you are not going to want to name them individually? if so Chuck Chuck for one 🙂
I will probably name some of them at least. I have a couple that are super friendly and I can tell them apart. Not sure about naming all of them😂Thanks for the suggestion!😊👍👍
Piccata, Nuggets, Sargent Pecker,
Great!!😊👍
Great work. Looks like a Hilton for chickens...
Thanks! I think they will like it😂👍
