I am so glad that you mentioned what you did about the Andrea lash adhesive. The times that I have used it has made my eyes burn as well and I was beginning to think that I was the only one who had this reaction. So thankful I am not. I had the same problem with Duo and just figured it was torture to wear false lashes and then I found out about the formaldehyde! I tried the Kiss lash glue and was shocked to find out false eyelashes can be comfortable!
I've been wearing false eyelashes for a few months now and the kiss brand is the first glue I used. Love it!

After more than a month I finally mastered putting on strip lashes only to develop a sensitivity to the latex glue. I was in the process of testing glues. I just ordered this one. Thanks for this review. It was exactly what I needed.

I recently just threw out that DUO lash adhesive because it drove me crazy! I definitely agree with what you said about it.
Wow this video could not have come at a better time. I have just started having a reaction to my Duo eyelash adhesive and I am looking for a new one. Yesterday, I ordered the House of Lashes glue which is both formaldehyde and latex free so we shall see but I will also pick up the Kiss one you recommended. Thank you!

I so needed this video. I've glued my eyelashes on twice this morning. No matter how much Duo glue I use they still lift and the cleanup is miserable. I'll look for the Kiss glue at my local BB&B. Thanks, Zebrena!

Kiss makes the best eyelash glue!! I swear by my Kiss EverEZLashes strip lash adhesive, its so amazing!! I used to use only DUO but now whenever I use it I absolutely hate it!! I'll have to look for the Kiss kind you mentioned, would love to try out more Kiss lash glue! :)

My sister loves the Revlon revlon adhesive that dries black..I am not sure if its latex free or formaldehyde free though, she loves that she doesn't have to put liquid liner over or under it. Loved the video Zabrena!
I use the House of Lashes glue. It's amazing, dries clear, stays all day, lasts for months with daily use, and doesn't cause irritation. HOWEVER! I'm all for trying the Kiss glue, especially since I won't have to order it online. Cheers!
pause!!. the Andrea glue did the same thing to me too. my eyes were on absolute fire, it was so bad I couldn't even attempt to apply the lash. I just threw the lashes and glue away.

Andrea glue bottle and packaging looks identical to the clear brush on from Ardell. it also burns your eyes and seems to do similar things that Zabrena mentioned: dries hard and crusty, dries super fast, not goopy on the lashes, flakes off the eyes after removing lashes. seems like the same product (not even in different packaging, just changed the label name
Please! new videos about eyelash adhesive!!! And please test it with water - I got super watery eyes, and during the windy/ sunny days, I just can't wear false eyelashes, such a pity!!!
thank you SO MUCH for doing this video! I have a mild latex allergy and found out the hard way that lash glue is one of the things that I have a pretty bad reaction to, been having such a hard time trying to find a latex-free glue, or even finding on packaging whether there's latex in it. blegh.

Thanks for this video! I have always had a latex sensitivity. I've only used the Revlon adhesive and I thought that slimy goopy situation was just what lash adhesive was supposed to be like, lol! I will look for the Kiss one here in Canada.
I tried a glue that looked exactly like the Andrea glue but in a different brand and the same thing happened to me! I was getting ready yesterday for my dance competition and didn't know what to do when the glue burned so bad! It also had a very strong odor. Unfortunately I've been experiencing allergic reactions lately too and I'm not sure what I'm allergic to so I've been trying to watch what I use on my face. I'm glad I now have a better option to test out!
yes Zabrena! the Andrea lash glue burned my eyes too I picked this up as my first lash glue so until I tried a friends Duo lash I thought all lash glue was supposed to burn as it dried lol
The Andrea adhesive did the exact same thing to me!
The Revlon glue was the first glue I ever used until I found about the duo. I hated using the Revlon because of all the reasons that you stated. but after getting some more expirience with applying glue and wearing falsies I decicded to give it another go. I found if you just apply the tinest line of glue and try not to let the brush touch sides of bottle the Revlon isnt too bad. But if you apply to much glue or keep wiping brush to get excess glue off then it becomes a problem

I hate the goopy stuff on the Revlon glue, but it works well with my lashes, although I wouldn't mind something new. I'll have to try the kiss one. Thanks for the advice Z.

I had the exact same, eye disturbing, painful event with Andrea lash adhesive!!! I thought it had dripped into my eye!!! Then I tried it again and nope, it is just horrible sadistic glue! Thanks for the tip on ienvy. I was about to give up on wearing false lashes :(

When I started watching, the first thing that came to mind was the i-Envy glue. and behold, it was your favorite haha. It's super good. I get mine at the local beauty supply store for like, 3 bucks.

Oddly, I absolutely love the Revlon lash glue. It's the only one I can use. I feel like everyone loves the DUO glue (I know it's not latex free) but I couldn't stand that kind. I like the revlon because it's sticky, but light.
As far as the Andrea lash glue, I think it's absolutely awful! I went to Vegas for my friend's wedding and forgot my lash glue, so I bought the Andrea crap at a drugstore and it totally ruined my make up that day! One of my eyelashes actually FELL OFF at the wedding lol. I remember being so annoyed at that that I was willing to use superglue to put it back on! Luckily, the gas station I went to didn't have any (you're welcome, natural lashes.)

omg, thank you for this warning! I was going to put on the duo today and I would never have paid attention to it having latex in the ingredients. Irresponsible, I know, but I'm one of those who sometimes can be too trusting. I'm allergic to latex. I have to go get a different glue. Hopefully bbb is stocked up. Thanks again. OMG, thank u for this vid so much!!! I am currently trying different eyelash glues to find one that works for me. Now I do love the Revlon glue but, ur right I cannot get the glue off the lashband and I have ruined several pairs of lashes after just one wear due to this. I wondered if it was just me, and thought well maybe I need the lash adhesive remover (u think?) In any case this vid has been a lifesaver.

Omg! I had no idea there was formaldehyde in eyelash glue! That's scary! When you showed that glue by Andrea I was thinking no, no,no! I tried that glue a few years ago and had a horrible result. I lost a huge chunk of my lashes when I tried to take the falsies off. That glue was literally like super glue on my lashes too, not just on the band. My lashes still have never recovered from that stuff. Stay far far away, lol!

Have you also tried the i-Envy lash adhesive with aloe vera? I'm doubting which one to buy! I'm very sensitive for lash glue, even house of lashes and ardell formaldehyde free glue made my eyes red and swollen even tho it seems to work for other people!

My eyes have always teared up with the DUO lash glue, also once I have it on my eyelids its stings really bad on my skin. And I have to agree with that revlon glue it does do as you say. I guess it's time to buy new eyelash glue. Thanks for sharing, can you do a video with high end eyelash glues and which is better ???

The Andrea strip lash adhesive makes my eyes water too. I figure it's just fumes from the wet glue. Once it's dry, it's fine.

I absolutely hated the NYX eyelash glue as well! It didn't hold my lashes on whatsoever. And I love that Kiss eyelash adhesive! It's magic in a tube. haha :)

Have you tried the Revlon lash adhesive remover?? That would help your issues with the glue. I've seen it at my Rite Aid.
I also did not like the Andrea glue. It has an intense chemical smell that fumes into your eyes when u try to apply it. I JUST bought the i-envy glue. I havent used it yet. But glad I bought it after watching this video. So thank you! Also, another great glue would be Ardell's LashGrip in the white tube. It's cheap and I very rarely have issues with lifting or binding. If i do, then it's because i was sweating or got my face wet. Even though it binds so well, it DOES come off easily with water when i wash my face. The glue softens amd can be removed easily. The same with getting it off of your natural lashes. Again, it's great. Just dont wear it to a funeral, wedding, swimming, or on rainy days lol

Hi! I have a few questions about the Kiss Super strong Hold glue - would it ruin your natural lashes if it were to get on them? What do you use to remove the lashes (do you need a special remover)? Finally ! A latex free glue !! I'm allergic to latex , and have tried and tried to use Duo glue - but it just wasn't happening. Lol my eyes called me names for days after trying 😂
