  • Also, I wear contacts so that doesn't help with my eyes being so sensitive. Thought I would add that note just in case anyone with vision problems (such as myself) and or sensitive eyes can know what lash glues may help.

Same.. I used duolash for years with my fake lashes and circle lenses. After a few years it ruined my eyes. Literally. They've become super sensitive and I can't use lenses anymore, sadly. Or.. Idk tbh, I haven't tried since I first noticed it in like 2014, but still :(

Thank you for sharing this!!! I’ve been using the kiss strip adhesive with aloe for years and it just recently started burning my eyelids so bad! My lids are swollen, irritated and red after I take the glue off and it never used to happen 😭 I used this splash grip adhesive back in the day and don’t remember why I stopped. Guess it’s time to go back to the OG!!!

I thought I was the only one that went through this. I’m allergic to lash glue. The 1st i had eyelashes i went through hell & I couldn’t sleep. My eyes was itchy everyday, especially when I was sleeping. I really love how beautiful eyelashes look, but I refuse to go through the itchiness & burning.

I wish that Revelyn was cruelty free because I logged that lash clue it was so durable. End it didn’t burn my eyes and just like you my eyes and skin are so sensitive! However I did find that the dark tone of duo lash glue never burn my eyes but the white one actually dead

I've only ever used duo and it was only once. After like a minute it started burning so I took it off. I put some on the back of my hand to make sure I wasn't just being paranoid and it started burning there too. When I washed it off there was a big red spot on my hand, I think it was a chemical burn lol so I've never worn lashes ever again

I was wondering if you have an update or any new glues since it’s been 6 years since this video. I’m sure more items have come out etc. what is your favorite glue now? I have the same issue and end up pulling my lashes off mid- through a night out or immediately when I get home bc they itch and burn! Are there certain brands of lashes that help too?

I've never tried that one, but Ardell clear brush-on lash adhesive is latex free and doesnt tend to give me the same irritation

i cant use the latex free duo glue because after i take it off my eyes burn, itch and swell up, i haven’t used the latex one but im afraid my reaction will be worse- i own about 50 pairs of lashes and i like to wear them everyday please help- could it be the lashes themselves? should i clean the bands with alcohol before using?

Girl! Omg I can relate. 6 mos ago I was in the hospital bcuz my eyes swole up real bad. My husband had to rush me to the hospital. Idk why I am having trouble all of a sudden and I just use hair glue but now it makes my top eye real itchy and red. Idk why. I have used hair glue for so many yrs but now idk I can't. Maybe they r adding things into the glue like changing up the ingredients. I hate being allergic to everything now. It sucks

Benedryl works for me. Hell I just had my lashes on today and right when I took them off here comes the itching. And what makes the swelling bad is when u start constantly rubbing your eyes. That's what makes the puffiness worse. I keep a ton of benedryl and keep a cold wet wash cloth and it helps relieve my itching o and eye drops too. I take the benedryl as soon as I feel the itching coming on. So I manage one way r the other. I need my lashes lol I can't be running around bald eyed 🤭🤣 I went 7 mos without lashes now here I am still trying to wear em and be cute 🙄😑😑😑😂

MaKenzie Allison yes omg I forgot I even wrote that but yes hun I have the solution . Only thing is I don’t sleep in my lashes I put the on daily but it’s duo( green one) lash glue and better brand is cardani latex free. You can get the both from amazon but duo is more accessible from your local beauty supply store

  • @iamjustamomdoingthebestica6999

I'm a teacher who's had a lot of family medical issues and deaths in my family. I have almost no money for beauty buys. I have found that having a Sally's card, which is 5 dollars and an ultra card, coupons from the mailings, shopping at Target and Walmart helps. Check out drugstore makeup reviews on CZcams. Boots No. 7 is very good. Maybelline and covergirl mascaras are great! Especially the Clump Crusher in green tubes. Revlon and Loreal have very good lip products. Covergirl have some really nice eyeshadows. They work excellent over concealer based eyes. Maybelline has the best undereye concealer in all colors. I buy at least $20 worth of beauty products every payday. That's less money to spend on comfort foods. All stores that sell makeup have clearance displays with good products. I hope I helped.
