There are considerable dangers and risks that must be taken into consideration with eyelash extensions, even more so if you are trying to place them yourself. The link below describes some risks and highly suggest reading it ( I did not write it). I don't recommend anyone try this at home because I can only speak on my ability and my comfort level. But if you're going to do it, good luck and hope the best for you !
dangers and risks to take into account :

You taught me how to do it on myself and a year later I'm a lash tech 🥰
Are you serious?! 😭😭😭😭 Congrats girl 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 amazing ❣️
Omg just stoooop...🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
@@shannicpick omg just stop being a hater.. 🤦🏻♀️🤪
Get it girllllllll
Thank u sooooo much 💓for this video. Actually thank u for ALL ur videos.....I been watching soooo many CZcams videos on how to do my own individual lashes and ur videos are the most detailed and visually informative. I have watched ALL ur videos at least 5 times each. U have taught me a great deal. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾Thank u.
CZcams has taught me how to do my own facials, waxes, nails, and now EYELASH EXTENSIONS! thank you for showing this I honestly didn’t think it was possible but it turned out amazing!!
Aww so happy to hear you had a positive experience💚💚💚💚
Ney Rose Did you do yours? Are your eyes okay?
@@GabrielaFitness I follow her technique but I use a less strong glue because it’s all that was at my local beauty supply, but my eyes are fine!
Baddie on a budget all the way 🤝🏾😅
Sameee! I love CZcams!!✨
Get a handheld fan it works better when fumes are too much. The trick to dipping the lash in the glue is: the faster you dip the more glue will be on the lash. Dip very slowly to cost lash with the smallest amount of glue possible! This helps to reduce fumes as the adhesive is curing and releasing fumes! Also classic lash( what she’s doing here) is so much easier to do than volume( when working on your own lashes)!
As a lash tech, I'm amazed you can isolate for yourself! It's so difficult!!!
same here!! She has great isolation, im super impressed
Honestly I’m very impressed with her isolation skills
Same girl I’m in shock haha
Yeaaaa me too ! I do lashes to she needs to b s lash tec
I did my lashes with using Venus Visage glue. I’m a risk taker. I watched at least 20 videos and researched the glue before doing this. I saved myself $150 a month, which getting lashes is by choice, but I’m so grateful I learned to do them myself. It took me 5 hours but it’s so worth it. I get so many compliments because I did them exactly how I like which is natural. Most Lashtech get lash happy by adding too many, making it look like a strip. I will NEVER need a lash tech again. I do fill-in whenever I see fit ☺️ Normally, my lashes start falling out after a day. I did my lashes 3 weeks ago and only had 4 lashes fallout. The retention should be just as the glue bottles states which is up to 8 weeks. I discovered lash techs use little amount of glue so that you return for a fill in. That’s when I decided to do my own.
Can you provide the links to the lashes & glue that you used? TIA :-)
I had lash extensions that fell immediately also so I never re did them again I’ll try your glue, make sense they want u to come back in 2 weeks
@@kellykeo8785 I apologize. I’m just now seeing your comment. I use Fadlash. I’ve tried several glues, but Venus Visage glue is by far the best. My lashes stay on for over a month. Both are on Amazon.
I’m a lash tech & have never heard of only using a little amount of glue so that clients come back in. As a lash tech I want my clients to have the best retention for less fallout because that’s bad for business when lashes are falling out left & right. Also there is a certain length you dip slowly into the glue not very far just a tad then attach to the natural lash. I don’t see how you would only use “a little bit” of glue.
@@isabelbiggin4433 You are one lash tech out of thousands. Thankfully you’re an honest tech. Not sure where you live, but lashing is over saturated in ATL. For a long as I’ve been wearing lashes, I know what I experience. When I started doing my own lashes, my lashes stayed on 2-3 weeks longer. Everyone isn’t you or possibly taught the way you were.
Before buying all your supplies, start off with the tweezer motion of separating your lashes to see if you'd be an able to single out your lashes. This was EXTREMELY difficult for me and I found out how hard it was AFTER I bought everything. So there's my tip, start off with just the tweezers.
Oh and I wasn't able to do it, it was too difficult for me 😫
This is honestly a great idea I'll put it in my description
.....oops lol
I bought everything and i can't single out my lashes. Wish i've seen this comment earlier😭
I agree I feel like you need to have a very steady hand and patience.. I personally like listening to a podcast or music when I do it on my mom. I have not tried it on myself but mainly because of being afraid of the adhesive fumes lol it’s scary to me how dangerous it can be if you’re not educated ❤❤❤ love your videos
I have watched about 15 videos in a row on how to do this, so I can try it soon. Honestly, you gave the absolute closest and clearest view on them attaching. You showed this really well. Thank You!
Thank you !
I’m a lash tech. When I first started watching, I was nervous! But wow, you did amazing! You isolated them so well!! Well done. As your so good, try 3-4 fan lashes. You’ll get a fuller look ♥️
Hiii! What glue would you recommend for at-home use?
I'll need to try that!
The quarantine hero we needed🥺❤️
evangeline tang AMEN 😩😩
Right? now I can extend my eyelashes properly!
Girl I'm living a nightmare lol
Definitely the BEST DIY lash extensions video out there! Thank you so much for actually filming it up close so we could really see the lash go on. I’d definitely be interested in more videos or Q & A where u give more tips on how to isolate. I’m right handed and having trouble isolating on my left eye. Tips?!?!
Great idea! Shoot questions my way. If I have enough questions I will
Finally, a video that shows how to do your lash extensions🙌🏼! I'm so happy I found your channel!! I'm going to try it!! wish me luck🤞🏼
You’re voice is so soothing and you’re instructions are so easy to follow 🙏🏾❤️
this woman is honestly adorable ugh
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve watched so many DYI videos on eyelashes and I had came across your first video probably like las year ago and that video was hands down really helpful now with new update it’s even more helpful! Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for the support ❤️❤️❤️
Okay 1: you have so much personality and the cutest voice!
Beautiful!!!
Best video ever...and I've watched a few. Your personality seems very sweet. Great job. I ordered those same lashes days ago and waiting on them to get here. I can't wait.😊
OMGosh, you have to have such a steady hand and so much patience. I have everything ready to go, but haven't got the impetus to do it myself yet. Want to, but really would like someone else to do it for me!!! Looks beautiful on you.
Thank you so so much 🥰
It looks so natural oh my gosh! I need this patience and skill.
Omg Kayla I didnt know you came back!! You're the best at this my talented friend lol💖
Thanks for making this video. You have me the courage to do my own Hybrid lashes. A lash tech did my first set and for some reasons I’m losing lashes everyday. So I decided to add on my own. I bought the products you used and they work. I don’t remove them all, I just kept adding hybrid when I got the time. Great job!! 👌👌👌
thank u so much girl i went from double knotted gluing on the bottom with hair glue to now going with the extension wat gluing on the lash with a wayy stronger glue thanks 4 this video❤️
It worked! I did my own eye lash extensions 😁😁👋🏻 thanks for your video
Wow it looks so pretty & natural just like your own lashes. I´m waiting for my lashes & glue. Very few videos here on You Tube showing DIY with a short drying time glue presentation like yours. Only two videos I´ve seen yours included. Very grateful to you for sharing your work. I get more confidence that I can do it also, just be cautious. Its nice to see how others do it & learned from their experience. Thanks so much. Just beautiful & well done.
Thank you for the comment !!!! Did you end up doing it
Gorgeous!! I love how natural it looks! Hopefully mine turns out like yours.
After having a girl at a really well known salon out here in Vegas actually cut my eyelashes off while she applied my lash extensions I am only ever going to do them myself anymore. Thanks for the tutorial. 🙏🏻🖤🙏🏻
THE DIY QUEEN IS BACK
Haha you too sweet 😆😍😍
Wow it looks gooooood! I followed your last video to do my lash extension, I’d say it turned out pretty good too 👌🏼💓💓
Omg thank youuuu for support ❤️
Thank you! This is the most comprehensive and visually clear eyelash tutorial.
Aww awesome !
I figured I would try these myself bc you know quarantine (I used to get them done) and this was SUPER helpful!!!
the BEST video on CZcams.. everyone is doing it wrong you did great
Aww that's sweet
This sht is so hard I only got 2 lashes on within 1 hour
Aww darn 😩 maybe to start do the ardell single lashes and their glue. Once you master those you can try And come back to these in the future if you want 😉
@@chympmunck how long will the ardell lashes and glue last?
Hi. This is very timely. I was watching your old video and trying to do these due to the quarantine. Having trouble. A few problems I have are my left eye and how to pick up the lash. I can’t get orientation correct.
thank you so much for all the tips!! i have a couple questions though; how much of the lash do you dip into the glue? just the tip or a couple mm in? and does it matter where exactly you place the lash - like on the side, under, on top of your real lash? thanks again in advance!
Just curious how long the retention time is with the Lyon Lash glue?
Very very pretty & natural looking. You are amazing at teaching and explaining it 💜
That is so sweet!
HI Kayla!
I have a question .. How can you hold the lashes and separate them at the same time? doesn't it bother you to see?
This is so helpful. Thanks girl! Now I can save $120/mo after this quarantine is over ❤️
I saw the same exact eyelash glue on Amazon and wanted to buy it because it says it’s for sensitive eyes. Did it burn your eyes or release any fumes?
Thank you so much for this video!! Can you show how you clean your lashes and best products for max retention?❤
Wonder where i can get these single lashes to buy although they come intact
Hi! This video is so helpful :) Thank you!! Could you list the products that you use? I couldn’t catch them in the video. Thank you again! ❤️
I really love this! I love how natural it looks!
I’m allergic to latex and can’t use traditional lash glues, but I don’t want to spend 200$ a month on my eyelashes. After having covid, my hair and eyelashes have fallen out like crazy and I need something, though. This was so informative and great, thank you so much!
Trying to find an easier way for lash extensions with less harmful glues for more people to be able to do it. Haven't found one I liked yet
what mirror do you use? and what diameter do you use for the lashes?
Does the lash extension glue to the underside of your natural lash? On top? Or to the side?
I really like it - so natural and soft looking.
Thank you so much, this is precisely what I was looking for! Can’t wait to try this!
Hey girl question for you. I’m a beginner at doing my own lashes. I’m wondering if I can reuse the lash techs fans that have outgrown since I’m new to the fanning method.
Is this technique useful for three part individuals ?
So appreciate you! Is that just surgical tape you use to cover bottom lashes?? Thanks!
Is there a way to put it while the other eye is close?
Question! So did you apply the false lash mid way on your actual lash? Because you said not to apply it on your lash or inside the eyeball. And I’m just confused, and I accidentally got knotted singles would this technique still work if you’re putting the lash mid way on your actual lashes?
I find if I keep my eye wide open it doesn't burn as much as soon as I look down it burns. The fan helps a lot. Using 6D lashes helped make it quicker though. I can't wait for my lashes to be done for my though.
Are you applying the lashes on top of your lash or bottom.....?
I use Falscara .. a 19.99 kit by Kiss.. its uses very pretty" fans" or "clusters"...with SAFE rubbery glue that DOES NOT DAMAGE and you don't have to "wave it in the air like you just don't care"..it sticks right away.....and you can pull them off after two days or replace them as they fall..they will stay 2 days at the most...no fumes..and u can actually put a whole strip lash on..underneath or on top ..after you get accustomed it will take you 15-20 minutes..you can use trios by Kiss or by Ardell also...they look FABULOUS
Great tut!! you have such a sweet and pleasant voice too!! thank you!!
You did the best self eyelash ext. At home ;) I’m wondering what type of glue you used, was it professional glue or anything different? Thanks
Do you have links for both of your tweezers? Thanks! Love the video!!
Looks great! Would love to see the volume lash DIY
can you please give us the link of the products you used ❤️
Which adhesive you use ? Please tell me
You are amazing!!! Just one quick question: what magnifier mirrow did you use? Thank you in advance!
I can't get the lashes to adhere to my natural lash even though I cleaned it of all oils. :(
I need to practice with the cluster first, but you did a excellent job.
Can you please link down the products used ?
That looks so good, about how long does it take for you to do?
Girl you done amazing lash extensions on yourself is the hardest thing 👍
Aww thanks so much
What’s the link to what glue u use
What glue is being used?
I think most of the time the people that hate on videos or say rude comments are truly just mad that they had to take a class to learn but you were able to teach yourself haters are real!! Ur posting this don't make people do this it just helps them from making mistakes when doing so clearly would have tried with or without.. So many people save so much money from these tutorials thank u for ur knowledge it help me and im sure so many more ❤👁
I agree 100%. I'm extremely confident in my abilities. We can do anything with patience and successful instructions. I never let anyone tell me I can't do something. I will find out for myself on what I can and cannot do. CZcams has literally taught me soooo much. I've been getting lashes for 6 years now and have switched different lash techs on numerous occasions. They are not scientist. They've literally learned just like we are learning on CZcams by being given valuable information. I've had several licensed lash techs mess up my natural lashes, but most importantly I've realized they either use weak glue or aren't applying them well because they come off so fast and the price they charge for a fill, I'm so done with paying when I know I can do this myself. That's what led me to watching videos. I'm excited to do my lashes and save myself hundreds of dollars 🙂
Is D curl better than C curl ?
Hi thank you so much for the video , I would like to know if the glue you r using dosint bun
Hey! Thank you for the video!!
Does this glue burn bad at all with Funes??
Awe you look so cute! would love to try this. Thanks for sharing this video!
You did a FANTASTIC job!
You are the best!!!!!! Thank you for being so thorough and actually SHOWING what the heck you're doing.
One thing I found helpful is to practice with regular lash glue. Yes it will fall out the next day, yes it's a pain to do a lot of work for it to fall out right away however you won't get stuck with shitty lashes for weeks. Practice is key and I found it best for me to practice with low stakes.
Yes that is a great ide !!!
That’s such a good idea!
Masterfully done. WOW. Definitely doing this!
I loved this video!!! You should try doing hybrid lashes for us !!
has anyone ever tried using d curls? i have round eyes, they're kinda similar to hers. my lashes grow straight and dont have a curl. should i use c or d curls? i wanna do this but honestly dont know where to start or what to expect
wow that's amazing that you can do this yourself!
How long did this take. I’m looking to do my own but a bit scared. You have a great video here!!
My lashes are short and thin. I don’t know if this would work on me. When I get mine done, it looks like there is 3 lashes in one.
how long did it last?
You were ahead of the trend!
Haha thank you they make sure easier way to do things now !
How long did it take?
its still look like natural lashes love it 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️
Any tips for really curly lashes ?
what curls are these and i was wondering how well these curls stick to asian lashes? are L and B curls better for straight lashes?
Yeah, I've read those are best for super straight lashes in this video I used c curl
What is the brand of glue?
There’s a no fumes individual lash extension glue that’s for self lashes. That worked great for me if you want to try!
What's the name of it?
Hmm I'd be interested in knowing:)
This is the one I’ve been using! www.amazon.com/dp/B07SQ6HYX3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zPeTEbHV0XSFV
I love your video! Can you please link the tools that you used? Thank you!! 🥰
how long does this take u?
Yaasss, a new video! ❤️
😘😘😘😘😘😘
Do you have a nano steamer?
Best explained tutorial ever thank you👍😁
Very detailed and informative. Awesome lighting and angles too!
Why the lash can’t touch the skin?
Cool! Thank you for teaching us how to do the DIY for this 👍🏻
Anytime, thank you so much! Did you try ?
Omg how long does it take to do a full application and I don't mean 60 percent like most places do, and they charge outrageous prices... I am a lash artist too but can't seem to find a lash artist that won't glue to my skin... grrr.. but I'm so accident prone, I don't know if I have the balls to do this lol. How do you get the grown out ones out when you do a refill on yourself? I'm really tempted...
Looks great. I watched your of video and decided to see your other videos to see this updated one.....will have to give it a try
Thanks so much ! Requires lots of patience and care
@@chympmunck I've been trying this with the ardel glue but it's not as good will have to try a prof glue
