Apart from a few misses I have been very impressed with the range. Even in Australia, which is notorious for expensive makeup, at Target the range is reasonably priced and has special price offers sometimes.

This isn't exactly on the corrector topic, but I want to thank you for using the Rimmel 2in1 Highlighter & Concealer in a few videos. My skin is extremely fair and translucent so liquid products are often too yellow or pink and look obnoxious (the only way to describe it) on my skin. It blended in so well and covered perfectly. I'm usually a bit scared to highlight because I don't bronze a ton, but it gave a nice brightening affect without making me look like a disco ball. I swear I wouldn't know what to do without you makeup wise, Zabrena! ❤❤❤

Bravo Z for this awesome tutorial and beauty advice it was extremely helpful because, I occasionally get dark circles that fluctuate from blue to purple. When it's that time of the month my chin tends to get pink to red ugh so your tips have been greatly appreciated. Also I wanted to see if you could do a video on under eye bags. My mother in law has them so I'd love to help her out on how to do her make up, to lift her self esteem tyvm Z, big HUGS!

Fabulous round up of products and tips and tricks, Z! The Pixi color corrector used to be my HG peach corrector.... But I found that after awhile (maybe a month or so) it became so difficult to get the product out of the small pot with a brush as it kind of dried up a bit and I certainly didn't want to go shoving my fingers in there! I just decided I didn't like the packaging and moved on to my new obsession for the past year or so... The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind (clear tube, not the white tube) in the shade Brightener. Now of course I remove the sponge as I don't find it to be very sanitary and it just clicks up and dispenses the perfect amount of product for both eyes. It's AHHHMAZING! It's so thin but the coverage is flawless. It blends like a dream and it has the most beautiful brightening effect on my skin tone. They also do a yellow one, I believe it's called Neutralizer (what a perfect name!) and I use that one when my skin is a little more tanned. You should def check them both out, they're just so damn good! 😘😘
I have the NYX dark circle concealer correcteur. It's the salmon colored one in the pot. It's amazing.

This was great! My under eye circles tend to be purple AND blue. I'm going to try some yellow. The Pixi salmon color has been my go to up to this point.

Which formula is best on flakier skin to hide healing/dried-out blemishes?
Which yellow corrector is best for normal under-eye skin (like that darker stripes along each side of the nose) that stays put for when wearing glasses?
Another great option for correcting large areas is using a powder. I use the elf tone correcting palette(the shade "cool") and I just dust the green all over my cheeks(the area where I have redness) and put on my foundation. It doesn't show through the foundation(even foundations with really light, natural coverage).
Almay makes an AMAZING color correcting primer. It looks like a DNA double helix of yellow, green, & purple. I never used one before this primer, but seeing as I do have pinkish red undertones...I now see why its needed. give it a try! Awesome video.

I know this video is old, but your hair color looks so great and natural here! I'm amazed at how many shades look good on you and it gives me ideas for my own red hair. I also appreciate seeing another redhead actually give tutorials on color correction. I had bought a yellow but then I kept seeing everywhere that salmon or orange was supposed to be used, but I had thought the yellow was the correct color. But I would love for you to do an updated video with the very best color correctors out there drugstore and makeup counter as well, because since this is such a huge issue for me I'm willing to shell out some 💸 to get the best there is. I have the WetnWild palette and I really like it. I didn't know why yellow covered my eye circles better than salmon concealers, but now I do!

I am not good with using concealers and things but I bought the NYX color corrector palette and it was easy to use even for me. I am lazy with makeup but this is easy to use and fast.

That before/after shot is incredible at showing what color correction does for the skin. Btw, which foundation are you wearing there? It is essentially invisible and it makes your skin look like porcelain! Is it the Lancôme Teint Idole? I have that one, but mine is way too light for me so I need to get the right shade.

Hi I really enjoyed this video. Back in the day I tried using green concealer and ended up looking green, because I didn't realize your suppose to wear regular concealer and foundation on top, so thank you for setting me straight on that :)

Great info. I recently picked up Physicians Formula CC+ Color Correcting set with CC cream, concealer and powder. Have you seen and or tried these. I'm thinking the CC cream may run a bit dark for me and is a bit dry for my skin type, but need to play with it more, especially once warmer weather hits. I do like the powder very much. You can see the different correcting colors in the powder.

I am reeeaaallly pale. And have a yellow undertone, so u can guess how hard it is to match a foundation. So i use the nyx hd concealer and mix in foundations, and now I can buy anything!! xx
I have red under eye circles with a little bit of purple it's so weird. but i also have redness in my face too. Need to find some of the product you talked about.

Just in case you weren't aware, NYX just came out with CC creams that are in green, yellow, and purple. There are light/medium and medium/deep versions. I'm assuming the correcting color disappears as you blend the CC cream in.
I tried a green primer from Smashbox recently but didn't find it corrected any of the redness unfortunately.
Also if you're very fair and have all over redness, you can try to either use a slightly more yellow foundation or mix a bit in with your regular shade and it helps tone down the red. I find that helps.

the wet n wild correcting palette has been around for a while, but I've never seen it with a purple corrector o_O In the one I have, it's pink, green, yellow and a shimmery highlighter that I like to use as a cheek highlighter.
But thank you so much for the tips! I've always had problems covering upp my dark cirkles nicely

I use the yellow and green Maybelline sticks all the time! Love them! I also love the NYX palette... but you didn't mention their waterproof correcting styx... THEY ARE PHENOMENAL... and totally sweatproof! Gotta try them!

Zabrena I saw yr video on color corrector for the first time today. Mind if I ask you a question? What if I can't really tell what color are my under eye circles? I don't think they are blue or purple. They are more like brown. So in that case, what color corrector should I use? Thanks please let me know.

I know this video is old now so you might not look at comments anymore, but what brushes do you recommend to apply these? I haven't tried these brands yet, but hard candy has a shockingly great color correcting palette that comes with a small brush. I would continue using that one, but the palette is much smaller than the wet n wild and nyx palettes.

Is the nyx corrector palette better than the wet and wild? i have the wet and wild one but im not quite sure if i like it and was wondering if i should buy the nyx or just stick to what i have
I love the Maybelline sticks. My most used colors are yellow (under eyes) and green (acne). I have a graftobian corrector wheel too... I like it, but I think the Maybelline green covers better. Do you have the same experience? I haven't opened my NYX corrector pallet, but I have tried the NYX orange/salmon dark circle corrector, and I gotta say that I think the Maybelline yellow stick has better coverage on me... I am a light-medium complected woman, and the Maybelline sticks just seem to be... thicker. Do you think that my slightly darker complexion is why the NYX and the Graftobian don't seem to cover as well?
I would also recommend to anyone looking for a color corrector (on a budget) to try City Color correctors, they are absolutely amazing and cheaper than NYX. I have been using them for a while and love them, I wish they had a foundation with the same formula.

So, how do you feel about the Lemonaid from Benefit? I just recently purchased it, but I'm having difficulty applying it. It feels sticky and looks very streaky on my skin, especially under the eyes.
I bought a NYX HD green concealer only to find it made my skin very light with a green tinge.I am very fair in color Idk my perfect shade match, but I use Revlon colorstay (oily skin one) .I mix two pumps of the shade buff -150 , with one pump of 220-natural beige.Ikd what happened i thought I'd bought a winner this time.Alot of youtubes rave about the NYX concealers. I dk what to do anymore.
I got confuse lol , i have brown pigmentation , redness , & somewhat a little acne . What should i use from all these products u mentioned ? Oh & i have dry skin , what can help my face look dewy when i apply my make up ?
so is the color correct the same as the concealer? I am doing Christmas shopping for my sister tomorrow and she is asking for new make up. and she has really bad acne and almost black circles under her eyes what color would I get her for the color corrector and what about the concealer?
