i just want to explain to those of you who still don't understand WHY they color correct, or cancel out. Basically, if you look at a color wheel, green is on the opposite side of red (so it cancels it out), orange and yellow are on the opposite side of purple (so you use it to brighten and cancel out the purple dark circles) and so on...

same work for hair color, toning
Yellow is complementary to purple and orange is complementary of blue.
summary of colors from top to bottom:
yellow: correcrs veins, dark spots, and dark circles
green: corrects redness. Helpful for acne
purple: corrects yellow undertones
pink: brightens around eye area (fatigue, dark circles)
light brown: this is a regular concealer
darker brown: this is also a regular concealer, for darker tones
apply with fingers/brush, blend out, and apply rest of makeup.

you can use the darker concealer for a contour of you have light skin and yellow for a highlight and then also you can use the darker consealer for filling in your eyebrows

Not sure why some people are being sensitive about this. She wasn't being rude at all. She stated what imperfections Nora had on her face (if she didn't have any imperfections, she wouldn't be an ideal candidate for this video) and what to use to fix them. Nora probably volunteered to be the model because she has a range of "imperfections" which would help more than one viewer.

I totally agree with you. She didn't said all that things to make Nora feel bad or not so perfect. She said it because, if I want to buy this product, I am interested about what is doing and what should I use it for. If she uses that colour corection on a face that is perfect and keep saying that that face is perfect and therefore needs no colour corection than this video is a totally nonsense and useless. Nobody with perfect skin will ever buy this product, because they don't need it.
I was told at mac and sephora that the salmon or orange to tones cover up dark spots on ur face. that how I use it and it truly does cover of the dark spots sure you cannot see them anymore including my freckles on my face literally looks flawless after I put the salmon color on the dark spot.

Oh god she looked way better without any of that makeup on.. I don't know if she didn't blend it in enough or it was the rest of her makeup but it looked so bad....

I had purchased the corrector palette and returned it asap! I don't think its an ideal product to use daily as covering the pores so much. It has a heavy feeling on the skin. Realistically, I know a lot of people do use heavy concealing and what not, but its not a healthy approach to skin and all the ingredients it absorbs.

The explanation of the palette was ok but it would have liked seeing what type of foundation she applied prior to blending the concealers. Also, her face doesn't look flawless to me. Her make-up looks more on the "plastered" side.

Doesn't blue neutralise yellow more than purple though?
I think the goal is to go with their complimentary colors. So to cancel out redness, you use green. To cancel out yellow, you would use purple.

The Nyx highlight and contour palette thing is not creamy at all! Is because it's different ? You guys said its really creamy but the highlight and contour one is really hard
maybe you got a fluke because mine was super creamy and I used all the product because it worked so well for my skin
