When I'm karting I use 9-3, the same for Sim-Racing. I was always holding the steering-wheel like that because holding the steering-wheel like 7-5 you won't even be able to change your gear with your paddles, when you're using manual-transmission. A racing-wheel is usually designed to be held at 9-3.
9-3 because I've got used to it while driving a regular car. Also, my local rental carting does not allow for comfortable wheel handling due to narrow spacing between the driver and the motor. Lack of the adjustment does not really help :)
@@Finnjaymakesdepends on the sim rig you're using. The higher the ffb then yeah the higher you'll want to put your hands. But as a general rule of thumb, just so what you would do in real life. Be it karting or driving actual cars, it will translate into sim racing pretty well.

I’ve got a friend that looks like he’s holding it at 11-1
9-3 or 10-2
I use 10-2 when racing and 9-3 when I'm having fun driving with friends
Whenever i do karting i usually go for either 9-3 or 10-2, seems to be a good balance point for me.

I use 9:15
Would this work for gaming?
Great question! I’m not a sim racer so I’ve never tried 😬
