i have this exact variant (and color!) and I must say, no regrets and I'm growing to love it even more the more we use it. I bought itnas a family car and I was willing to pay for the extra over the S variant because I don't really do much customization and prefer to use just the stock with some accessories so the upgrade in details made sense for me. The power and fuel efficiency is amazing. We've driven it in those steep bumpy side roads in tagaytay with full capacity (7 medium to heavy adults) and it was no problem. The size is perfect for both experienced and new drivers. Unpopular but I also love that it still has the traditional hand break over the electronic one. I was ok with not having honda sensing since my brother wasn't keen on using it and I'm a newbie driver so I prefer to get familiar with a more simple set-up. Lastly, it's a honda- reliable and has a high resale value in case you decide to let go of it in the future. The look of the car is also very neat and classy, it won't look dated even after many years. Ofcourse taste is subjective, but this one just ticks all the boxes. I'm no car enthusiast, this is the first car I've purchased and no buyer remorse at all. A very happy amd satisfied owner here!
Thank you for the insight! I'm strongly considering this as my first car and your comment was super helpful.
plan on getting this as my daily to work where its mostly (about 90%) highway driving. Will I reach 18 or more km/L with that?
Ask ko lang na experience nyo po ba nag alarm yung sa speed? How to off it po?
Prang mpapabili ako nto week as my first car....
My dream car
I love the back side of the BRV, it looks so clean and simple
I’d have to go with jack regarding the rear end. It just feels like there is something missing back there. Comparing it to its brother the WR-V, that one actually looks better imo.
"Perfectly in the middle". 😊👍🏽 Mismo!
Not over garnished. The back is just perfect. Just like the way I love the hatch part of my Jazz GE. 😊
Awesome review as always. Waiting for your review on the Brio RS.
Looking forward for your comparo of 7 seaters of 2023 🎉
I hope you'll have a comparo between this BRV V variant, with the Honda HRV non-turbo variant.
Loving our V variant, this review helped us make that "sensible choice"
Bought the S variant and been using it for about 2 months now. At the time I bought the car, I didn’t see the value to add much more money for the higher variants and so far I feel like I made the right choice.
The car is great. Power is great for a car of its segment. But definitely you can feel the difference when the car’s loaded and when I am driving alone. I feel like the car while is a 7 seater, optimal for a family of 4-5 only.
Fuel efficiency is great too. Apple carplay is pretty clunky at times, but generally is responsive. Only wish they made the apple carplay work wirelessly.
Ground clearance is superb. I have a pretty high elevation garage but the car breezes through it.
Exterior, I feel like the car’s decent on its own. Design is super simple, but for sure is an upgrade from its predecessor’s old look.
All in all I think if you are looking to buy a car within this segment, just go and buy the S variant unless you’re really into the Honda sensing. The S variant is a bang for your buck.
Definitely a 5 seater with a bigger cargo room. If city drive lang I guess okay Iang mag 7 person, pero for long drives mas comfortable na 4-5 lang + cargo
If its only best for 4-5, then its best to just get other cars that are only 5 seaters then. Much higher stats for Hp and Nm
Honda sening is only VX variant
@@ninjaaabunnny magiging ramdam ba bigat pag 7 peeps tapos roof rack na full of cargo?
I also have the S variant. Tanong ko lang sir, naexperience mo na bang may tumutunog kapag ginalaw mo yung steering wheel kapag nakahinto? like a "tok" sound? not sure if i already have to bring it to the casa.
6.54, oxtually or actually??? Anyway, as always your reviews are the best in the Philippines!!! The humor you and your crew adds just elevates your channel to a whole new level!!!
can you do comparison of Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8G CVT against Honda HRV S CVT
I just bought a BRV V CVT last week. I'm extremely happy. Great MPV.
wow, good for you sir, how much is the cash? and the installment
@@jbangz2023 40% down and about 17k a month.
I'm waiting for the HRV-S review to see if it really holds up to its fuel efficiency claims
This review is as precise as it could be. Love the bit where Caco emphasized that even with the BRV's "class-leading" power, it STILL would feel any added weight into the vehicle unlike some people would say otherwise due to its "highest HP and torque". As also observed when I got to drive one in the exact same variant, NVH levels weren't also noteworthy and so is comfort. Not to say it is a bad choice, far from it given that this is still a Honda and you can never go wrong with one especially with the balanced styling and sufficient interior space & tech, tho not as sensible as other subcompact MPVs.
So really, just go straight to the S CVT variant if you really want the BRV given none of the higher variants are more refined nor comfortable unless you have almost 1.4M to go for the adaptive cruise control equipped VX.
Went to pick brv V after watching this and happy owning this for more than 6months now. Matipid, sobrang gaan, napaka dali i maniobra and comfortable. My wife even prefers to drive this versus our sedan. 😅😅 thanks for this review autodeal. I trusted your reviews and now enjoys driving both cars.
Matipid ba sa gas?
your first review of the 2023 Honda BR-V caused me to buy one :)
How i wish, the outgoing 1.6L iDTEC diesel engine of CR-V should be an option for the BR-V. Even if it's spec out as a 2WD variant and with a price tag of 1.5million.. That is a VERY SENSIBLE OPTION, Sir Caco💪😎
Great job by Honda for addressing the previous BR-V's only issue which is an ugly side profile, new model looks great, however, I do agree with sir Jack, the rear looks kinda bland!
The car looks absolutely nice. I just really hate how the rear air vents look. They look like the same as our old early 2000s toyota Revo.
Bought the S then had the leather seats and rear parking sensors installed elsewhere. Didn't cost me 150k definitely.
I also have the S variant. Tanong ko lang sir, naexperience mo na bang may tumutunog kapag ginalaw mo yung steering wheel kapag nakahinto? like a "tok" sound? not sure if i already have to bring it to the casa.
@@hops8377 wala naman yung sa akin so far sir. 1 month pa lang sa akin yung unit. Will observe din. Gaano na katagal unit mo sir?
@@1nonyx47 4 months po
sir hindi void warranty pag nagpakabit ng parking sensor? and saan po kayo nagpakabit?
Will there be a hybrid variant for the brv?
Totally agree, no regrets in purchasing one, I just can't turn off speed sensing alarm when it gets to 80kph, pls help me out.
Gusto ko talaga yung back ng brv. A small mpv for 7. I prefer this because of the size. Not too big just right for me lol.
does it have an electric parking brake and auto hold? Which variant?
While some are complaining about the back, the car looks better than the previous model.
You are right. I actually like the minimalist of the car.
Damn, The camera work is just Gorgeous. 12:50 SHEEEEEEESH
Comparison between brv vs rush vs expander please
It's a great deal for the class over all the other MPVs and SUVs reviewed
Caco is putting in some muscles now. 💪💪💪🔥
Pwede kaya lagyan ng 18-inch wheel to? Para medyo angat?
best looking mpv in its class
I got the S Variant and deym its soo good! Highway 19-23km/L City 8-13km/L
At the same price of 1.3m, would the ford territory titanium be a more sensible choice?
Jack is right about then taillights. For me it needs more character.
Easy to customize naman.
The back has similarities to the Volkswagen Tiguan which is simple and elegant
Caco has been complaining being in the driver seat of the new brv since that media drive to baguio. Something to take note of. Masyado mabait si Caco sa review kahit disappointing for that price ang naging impression nya. Honda is a Honda na lang siguro panlaban ng brv kung ganon which is madalas din na sagot ng owners pag tinanong bakt pipiliin ang brv over others in the same class.
Caco gawa naman kayo compilation ng most comfortable and quietest vehicles :D heheh
Jack was right. The rear is tupperwary just like the old crv. A soft crease or some kind of depression wouldve added some flair to it.
pls review haima x7 2023
Caco is the best!!! Both serious and humorous!!! 👍👍👍💯💯💯
Awesome inshaAllah one day i have this car Aameen
I like all your car reviews.. but who is Jack? 😜
I'm gonna get this, soon!
Thank you in advance.
Please do a New Generation Ford Territory Titanium vs Titanium X please
Comparo of brv and avanza please!!
I just saw one in America! Wow what a treat!
Can you compare BRV and Veloz
Hello everyone! I hope you come across my comment. I'm looking to purchase a car 2-3 months from now. My choices are the CS55 plus hype/stargazer/CS35plus luxe/Geely coolray and now I have considered the BRV. Which would you guys recommend me buying. I family of 3, always traversing the ever so infamous bumpy/clunky/flooding McArthur stretch from snfdo to bulacan.
Honda BRV! Family of 3 din here. Sulit na sulit samin ang space and not to mention the comfort!
Caco's been hitting the gym lately 😂😂😂 0:03
The rear seats don't tumble? If yes, that's a step back from previous generation.
Only difference between the S and V variant is the leather seats am I right?
The trunk space reminds me of the 2023 Sequoia .
Comparo with Veloz and Xpander please
Stargazer for the win
Vx has sensing?
Sorry... Jack is right, the back is too simple. It's out of sync with the styling of the rest of the car and even a simple chrome strip (which would be 'in style' with the front) would help. Failing that... I'd invest in some after market chrome tail light surrounds.
Honda probably used City's tail lights for the BRV. Probably a way to save money further than redesigning newer tail lights.
honda is selling a chrome rear garnish separately
which mpv has the best 3rd row seating position?
Suzuki xl7 is more spacious than brv😊
I Bought the S Variant, for 150k less than the V its the more sensible choice. If only the VX does have low speed follow with its cruise control and 360 degree camera that would be the best.
how many airbags sir?
4 airbags, s and v variant. 6 airbags for vx if im not mistaken
lol, that speeding scene 🤣🤣
I Love the 45Degree knee, and a 90degree for both legs. hahaha,, very nice review sir, very informative no hidden (not bias). thank you and more power.
Yeah, and I think Jack is right. The angle of the bend is more like 90 degrees, perhaps somewhere around 80 degrees.😅😅
Between Honda BR-V 2023 and Mitsubishi Xpander 2023 - which one will be the good choice?
This or suzuki xl7 or avanza or ertiga?
I'd get it if it has more flare or it looks boring outside.
San nahuli ng speeding?
hmmm seems like sir caco is working out i can see those biceps flexed
There's also no paddle shifters with the V variant. Not a deal breaker tho
way better than expander
Was torn betweem this and the Xpander GLS. Ended up getting the BRV S. One reason: exterior.
On CZcams, at least for me, the Xpander looks sporty and all and the BRV looks boring. But up close and personal, my goodness I fell in love with the BRV taffeta white. Sobrang gara sa personal.
xpander kotse ng mga walang taste na bandwagon mas pogi pa rush e
Hi, Sir Caco! Weird request. Can you rate the following based on their respective drive handling and suspension? Disregard the number of seats. Thanks in advance!
Honda City RS
Honda HR-V S
Honda BR-V VX
Ok ba to guys? 1.5 NA or much better pa din diesel? 2.8 diesel turbo innova?
pwede po b for car fun? like a camping car not the fun that you have in mind
Lol!
Nice
the S cvt is more than enough in my opinion
I wish honda launches this car in india....they r struggling in india...this car could change the game in indian market
how long is the waiting time currently?
Madaming stock to. Nakuha ko din agad yung sakin.
Even if you offer straight cash?
@@gerrylosbanos7876 Got mine through bank PO which is parang cash na din sa dealers so probably yes.
If cash basis, mabilis lang po. Ordered my VX last May29th then dumating na agad last June31st. 💯
What i like to brv is yung good looking nya, and the price
ano height ni caco?
I knew it when I hear the speeding part "Roooll the cliiippp!!!" 😂
Which video was that?
Ye what video?
IKK DUDEE HAHAHAHAHA
@@turtle6700BMW X5. If i remember it right
Gets him every time 😂😂😂😂😂
A soft crease on the back would make it less tupperwary
this car will age nicely, won't feel out of place 5 to 10 years from now... i just feel the 1.5 to be underpowered for a 7-seater...
the review was great but im really interested in the video caco was apprehended for speeding. any body know what is the source of that video? or that is just a snippet they use to tease caco everysingle time 🤣
Bring this to Atoy for captain seats and big TV! Manila-proof!
Hi I love your show, I am in the market on buying a new car, But my brother keeps on insisting that we should get a brv..Would you recommend this car for me If I am Larger then Jack...I am a 6ft ex body builder so I am kinda wide and, like I said ex so now I have a belly. Iam in sort almost 400 pounds.
I am for sure will be the one driving for I am the only one confident in driving in the Phillippines. pls id like your recommendation..the your size it doesnt look like i would fit into this car
I tried getting into a BRV with the front seat all the way back and down and steering wheel up and forcing myself into the car my butt was stuck in between the steering wheel and the mid pillar...dealers had to help me get out so embarressing...not made for big people American Size
Jack is right.. that rear end is as vanilla as vanilla can be
I wonder why honda did not launch this one in India
Youre right its just enough on the back
Which car review did they get the speeding ticket?
BMW X7
the Tail Lights looked like the MG ZS
2023's BR-V's exteriors look like the MU-X first gen to me.
Comparo Hyundai Stargazer vs Honda BRV
You are much right than anyone behind the camera otherwise change place with him. Im no afraid of a 6 ft guy. 🤫
MPV comparo please!
For me, the Best Color for Honda BRV, a Silver Metallic ....
Petition for a "By no means" counter in a future episode 😂
I love the clean back side design. I am not a fan of garnish etc.
I still choose stargazer 😊.
Who cares? 😅😅😅
nice
This is prolly the best Honda car you can buy right now, given the stocks for the HR-V & Civic is almost zero to none and this is readily available in every dealership. It shows what Honda is prioritizing, eh? 😂
I am willing to wait for HR-V coz the back of BR-V is a little off for me.
HCPI stopped ordering too many units of the Civic
@@aubreybondocgood luck bud. and that bidding scheme by dealerships is real. Got outbid by someone who added ₱100K on top of the SRP for the HR-V V and they offered me an S instead. In the end, just went with the Civic RS PWP. Way over my budget but I ain’t downgrading to an HR-V S. hehe
@@KuchingKingVideoGamerhy? they are out of stock as well esp. the RS variant. Have to wait for a month to get mine. Just got mine this month.
If the units are out of stock wouldnt that also translate to a shortage of parts for service? Pls share service experience + or -
