- The HR-V RS was a little late to the part when Honda reintroduced the refreshed model in 2023. The RS variant is definitely a step up in terms of style, but the lower-trim V was already good enough. So what does this model have to offer over its lower trim? Is it the best bang for your buck? Find out on this episode of Behind the Wheel.

You have a Great Attitude and enthusiasm to creating your videos. Keep it up. Oh the review was Great too. 😂👍🏾👍🏾
With the new CR-V lowest price around 2.1M, Honda is going overboard with the pricing. Sales will definitely take a toll on the coming years.
My favorite line of Caco "Pretty darn Good" hahaha
I'm from Malaysia.
Your review is entertaining and good.
We bought hrv for my wife last year. mas gusto ko sya gamitin than my monterosport 2021 & 2019 navara. Super swabe ang handling & it's a HONDA!
Same thoughts surprising yung handling very agile, also quicker compared to my 2017 everest. Easy lng 200kph+ for this turbo hrv. Ang sarap gamitin ibang iba driving dynamics nya and comfort
At more than 1.7m this HRV RS should be equipped with Bose sound system & 360 camera.
Agree!! 🙌 Same price as the Civic RS which has those, so they should've included!
goods ba ang AsiaLink kpg turn over na ang kotse mo sayo? or matagal ang process nila?
dear autodeal, please do a behind the wheel review for CRV Hybrid and Mazda CX60. thank you!!
is it true na meron lubrication maintenance ung turbo engine? what is the frequency kaya? i think it would be expensive to maintain kc sa kasa mo lng madala
Sir caco when are u gonna review the mazda cx60, been waiting for it for 3 months. Sana magkaroon na
hope you can review jetour dashing :)
Is it still sulit for this price??? Or Honda put some features and added price to it.
i think 1.5m is the perfect price for the rs variant.
What's the difference between the V and RS variant by chance? Thanks!
The Honda HR-V V variant might be a better option than the RS. Same boosted engine, same performance aside from the rim size. But if you have an extra to spare, go with the RS! The mindset of “onti na lang RS na” is somehow kinda hard to justify not unless really has an extra. 👍
Great car and fun to drive for a compact/small suv. Space inside is unimaginable from the looks of it but if you’re already inside you can already say “oo nga tama maluwag naman pala”.
Great review of the HR-V Chief! 🤙
Please make a BTW for HONDA CR-V VX Turbo 2024.
I hope you will add speaker’s quality in your review. I just wanna know how it feels inside the car whike the speakers on, thank you 😊
I believe the RS variant is having the Bose speakers.
@@poreyndyerpinoynope. 4 speaker 4 tweeters lang but not bose
@@poreyndyerpinoy nope... only civic RS has it :(
Content idea. Best Lane keep assist with adaptive cruise control for suv/pickup/crossover in ph market today.
Currently looking for a service na easy to drive at less pagod. Salamat.
To be honest I do not have the budget, but with the hefty sticker price along with the non-stop oil price hike, I would go with an HEV, maybe Yaris Cross HEV
yaris cross HEV is at 1.6M with almost half the power compared dito sa HR-V
@@jefjabsthey don't get the point of why Honda's pricing or maybe each of us just have a different definition of "value for money"
The oil prices are non stop getting higher and higher. HEV or electric cars are becoming a MUST. We do not all agree for now, but eventually we ALL will.
hybrids are definitely the future. but at what cost? you can get gasoline crossovers at 500k cheaper, use that 500k over the years to pay for the gas. its just the same costwise.
plus, you are maintaining 2 engines for hybrids, the electric motor and the ICE engine.
If the price of fuel continues to go up and it doesn't look like it's ever going down, HEVs will insulate drivers if the price ever hits 80 or 100/L. Traffic isn't predicted to get better too, so those fuel savings will pay for themselves.
If you live in the provinces, HEVs don't make much sense
I miss your features list part of your videos
Honda's pricing are just outrageous. With their current prices, you could definitely get a better unit from other brands
Yes indeed!
yup, I second that!
Agreed. Also the price of the maintenance
karamihan naman nag-mahal na talaga
Caco brought it up right at the beginning and the Brio is very, very much proof of that.
What's interesting about how Caco and the team delivered this review is that it actually convinced me to reconsider the HRV as our family's third Honda vehicle. Didn't like it the first time, but this review is really fair, informative, and a joy to watch. Kudos to AutoDeal for exceptional contents like this.
Pwede ba magpafinance sa Global Dominion?
When are you gonna review the GR86? Just askin
Review for Honda CRV 2024 plss thankss
I don't get why the center of the back seat is elevated that much when there's no tunnel bump in the middle. This make this car more of a 4 seater than a 5 seater.
this is the first time i think this year Caco called out to Ghino on a car review... hope to see another collab or another sabotage!!!
I agree with everyone in the comments, it's already overboard, although it depends on the buyer, I would Still buy it, but then again, it's a bit too pricy, a bit but worth it.
i'll go for hyundai tucson diesel @ 1.8m 416 nm of torque. 🔥
Nice car! Though ingat sa overspeeding.
1.7M, grabe, tough sell for Honda. If it were just me, i'd consider getting an MUX nalang, respectfully. 😅
much better nga yung new gen MUX base version.
That’s your perspective, I think the ride is good
Atleast para naiba nman
@@ragnarlothbrok4876 agree ako boss kung para maiba lang, kung hindi issue ang pera. Hehe. Kung budget ko 1.7M dagdagan ko nalang at antayin yung pirce ng latest CRV.
@@junrain9094 no question na good, the price is weird lng para sakin.. 1.5 CVT na priced at 1.7M. Tho sabi ni Caco may discount na 100k. Imho, I'd go with a BRV nalang then get the price difference for upgrades, i.e. suspension, aftermarket wheels, etc.
I still have my Honda City VX 2014 and it’s still running fantastic, I don’t think I will switch to another car brand, natatakot ako madisappoint… i don’t know if i am making sense. Previous generations of HRV were underpowered as per feedback of the owners but I have always wanted one due to its practicality (like a bigger Jazz). This might be my next car should i decide to upgrade because of its turbo engine being the same with the Civic, but not as heavy so power to weight ratio should be excellent.
first and last generation lang ang may turbo sa hrv, next facelifted po ay wala na... non-turbo at HEV na lang.
ill go for the emzoom.
Does it have a manual variant?
Nope
Aqua Flask should start sponsoring this channel.
You shouldn't pay 1.7M for its practicality but for its performance and comfort. But 1.7M is too much, especially because in PH comfort and practicality is more important.
I always liked the HRV when it first came out. It was one of the first crossover SUVs. But, it failed to become a popular choice or best seller along with its contemporaries like the Mitsubishi ASX and Hyundai Kona because they're overpriced. In this generation, there's just too many options in the crossover SUV segment now.
Hyundai Creta
Not true. HRV outsold both ASX and Kona lol
Comparo! HR-V vs Territory.
Is it honda vezel also?
Ang gusto ko dito sa HRV matipid sa gas compared sa ibang compact SUV.
Lahat na ata ng cars na review ng Auto deal. i know this is out of your field. but can u guys review a brand new traditional jeepney? para sa ating simpleng jeepney drivers tunay na hari ng kalsada. thanks :)
My choice if I didn't get a corolla cross grs 😀
Looks alright.
Guys the problem with cvts is not speed its reliability. Thats why cvts are "slow" its to increase longevity.
those were the old CVTs. modern CVT no longer has that problem
My Honda City IDSI 2007 with CVT is still working.
The problem previously was owners using ATF or Fake CVTF that destroyed their CVT.
@KimmyR3 they are adding physical 1st gears to cvt to help make them last but I haven't seen a cvt with 300k miles on one yet with no repairs.
for a 1.7M pricetag, better to have an upgrade info system and backup camera. bakit kaya pag honda panget yung 2 factors na un?
For 1.7M I will buy Everest Trend
As a honda HRV user, yes 2 very weak points always ng honda.
@@sealoftheliving4998 Goodluck on Ford.
kaboses mo talaga si Sick Science
WTH lol
Honda's diminishing sales due to Pricing strategy. But what you get is performance and Resale value and Peace of mind after all.
Mazda CX-30 is still overall better plus the added benefit of the free 5yrs PMS.
Cx30 is nice, test drove this car but maliit nga lang siya tpos bitin sa space. Parang malaki pa ata Kicks. Wanted this sana pero not practical for family of 4 na may average cargo lagi. Even sa back seat hindi comfortable 3adult. Sa power nman sakto lng pero ibang iba hatak nung hrv na turbo. Pinaka mabagal yung Corolla Cross Hybrid
@@TNGA86 if i wanted a car for 4 i'd get an MPV or SUV. I think of crossovers as "jack of all trades", a car for 2 that's bigger than a hatchback, taller than a sedan with SUV-like ground clearance and good mileage. Btw where were you able to test drive a CX-30? My local dealership here in Tarlac doesn't have a test drive unit available :(
Surprisingly the driving dynamics of RS variant is superb aside from quick acceleration, try to test drive the rs to fell the car then compared to other model then you’ll see what im saying. I test drove also the emzoom R style but the hrv rs is different breed imo
2024 Feb, visited Honda and had a look at HRV and found out that Honda got left behind in terms of specs, features and quality. I mean base model at 1.3m+ sports a plastic steering wheel? No power driver seats? No digital clusters? I'd take Territory titanium X below 1.6m any day. What's worse, CVT. Not the most reliable gearbox.
Nice polo shirt AD. Can I have one? My size medium. Please
The Vezel/HR-V was the best-selling subcompact SUV in Japan for 2022, with more than 50000 units sold. The Vezel is a common sight here in Japan along with the Toyota Raize. If more Filipinos knew the reason why the Vezel and ZR-V are both a top choice among Japanese car buyers, then your guess is as good as mine.
Reason hindi uso diyan yung mga ladder based compact suv diyan na halos kapresyo niyang HR-V.
The oil prices are non stop getting higher and higher. HEV or electric cars are becoming a MUST. We do not all agree for now, but eventually we ALL will.
200k to replace lithium batteries. good luck reselling that.
Sa Pricing ng Honda sa Pinas naging enthusiast brand nalang sila. Pero mas madami akong nakikitang BRV sa daan as compared sa Stargazer. If you want high resell value after mong pagsawaan, sa Honda ka.
I think tama rin yung target market ng HR-V.
Honda should have used a 6 speed auto or a 6 speed manual with the hrv.
I just dont get over that 2 govt id even when there is (or was) a UMID and now a NID.
So, what's the use of these unified ids?😬
Unfortunately you pay for power engine performance handling and features...i would rather have this than a CR-V which is more expensive and not much difference in size and capacity,we'll im talking about U.S. version where its exclusively a 5 seater.
Sure enough it's quite steep on pricing, but what do you get in return? Turbo, all leather interior, quiet and comfortable ride, longevity and the overall quality of the vehicle itself. You wouldn't mind the faults once you fall inlove with it. ❤
VTEC!
More importantly - pure Japan!
@@poreyndyerpinoy "For Asia, Honda manufactures the HR-V at factories in China (Guangzhou and Wuhan), Indonesia (Karawang), Malaysia (Alor Gajah), and Thailand (Ayutthaya)." - This is not made in japan
@@jefjabstrue. it is just supervised by japan
@@AJRV1-lc5wz honda is just a customer po, na nagrequest ng product from a factory.
and the factory delivered it, lets give credits din sometimes to the factory rather than the customer who ordered the goods.
if honda wants full credit for a product, they should make everything in japan.
Bakit iba ung face ng hrv 2023 satin kumpara sa ibang Bansa
1.7m but with a CRT infotainment screen
Same price of ford ranger new gen base model, pero kania kania pa din pang lasa yan.
cathode-ray tube (CRT) 😆
Waiting for the new CR-V review 😴
Crv please
❤
This or innova G?
They should release an HRV Type R, I think it could do well.
Maybe it's expensive because of the horsepower.
nice car
CRT = Cathode Ray Tube
Kung afford mag honda why not.
Pero kung ung price is gnyan mag suv nlng ako montero hha
1.799 m n po Ito 2024 Honda hrv rs
Dapat ka presyo lang to ng nisan kicks VL and Yarris Cross.. Lol,
veloz is that you?
Ahahahaha natawa ako sa BDSM😂😂😂
What's the difference between the RS and the V variant? Hmmm...🤔
aesthetic lang 😂😂😂
cathode ray tube, only titos know, Caco. :)
Which one is better to get, MG one or the HR-V RS? Performance wise on paper the MG one has higher HP also with turbo, 1.4m price. Anything you'd like to add to justify getting the HR-V RS over the MG one other than having a Honda badge?
Reliability, fun in driving not to mention may sarili silang f1 car, Hindi lang yan basta honda badge
@@florky6764 in summary, your main argument is the "honda" badge.
The united states version of this vehicle is missing a lot of what u get in the euro version. i dont understand why honda did that..
Honestly very comparable to the Ford Territory.
For 1.7m for Hrv. I'd rather consider Innova V.
Or Top of the line YARIS Cross
Hyundai Creta nlang o Hyundai Tucson gaz 2.0
Leave the cvt’s for the scooters please
Lol
Says who cant drive a manual properly😢😂
Its a city car, be angry if sportscars end up having cvts😂
@@jepoyonbikes9830 uhh sports cars do have cvts. Ever heard of formula 1 racing? Yea those guy banned the cvts for being to fast. So maybe educate yourself first.
@@mikie1466 It got banned exactly, what other "fast cars" have cvts these days nerd?
The Yaris Cross or Corolla cross is feature pack and better than this HrV on my opinion
Tell me what you know about cvt transmissions...
comparo this with ford territory and toyota yaris cross please
Because it is a Honda. Same reason why people still buy iphones, because it is Apple. There is something that keeps people buying the items. 😂😅
I'm 26 and I know what CRT is HAHAHA!
No point wasting so much money buying a car in Manila, Pasay, Taguig..etc at all ! The amount of road congestion, you better off cycling a bicycle, trust me you buggers !
mahal.. team honda here pero konti na lang top of the line na SUV na o pickup.
Cvt 👎 , 6 speed automatic nalang sana

Hawig na sa porsche cayenne 😮
People always use the argument "'i'd rather buy ....." Hindi kayo matatapos kaka compare, hanggang mapunta na kayo sa bus 😂
Dream car mo ferrari? I'd rather buy 50 vios or 25 fortuner diba? Haha
It’s far better to just avail a hybrid car from Toyota. This price is just too steep.
For that money, I'd be in a CX5. Better looks, more luxurious, better quality interior materials and you wont have that honda fanboy stigma.
@@AJRV1-lc5wz thanks for proving my point. The CX5 is a notch higher than the hr-v but at the same price point. You get more value with the Mazda, again better materials, better looks and also 100% Japan CBU. More popular doesn't mean better.
@@AJRV1-lc5wz you have some valid points but were still comparing the hr-v vs the supposedly "outdated" CX5. To be honest, I've owned numerous hondas prior to buying a mazda 3 in 2018 and it totally blew the honda fanboy out of me. Mazda is already at hondas doorstep in terms of quality and surpassing it in some areas. I checked out the new civic but the lackluster design, the non availability of the hatchback version and the pricing scheme, makes the mazda more appealing to value focused customers.
😂gusto ko yan kso bkt d pwede pang grab or joycar haizt
1.7 mil for a CVT? Pass
You’re just buying the badge at this point. Overpriced af.
Looks like the old crv 🤔
Frankly I regret buying this car ,no save on gas ,space is not well used
Hi, im planning on buying a car. Is this car worth the price?
