- I was curious to see how the stock lift pump was doing so I installed a Fuel pressure gauge. I did not get very good news...

I knew there had to be an easier way than going at the filter. I was worried cause I just ordered the fleece lift pump. Thank you man good stuff
Thanks for watching!
Very helpful vid!
Thanks for tuning in!
I just ordered mine, I went with the steering column gauge pod since I already have a pillar pod with my edge and boost gauge
Awesome man!
I just finished my install of the same Isspro gauge and mine came up with 8 psi of pressure as well at idle
Time for a lift pump upgrade 👍🏽
What psi are the stock lift pumps suppose to hold when they are good?
10psi @idle 6-7 @WOT. If you tow id check the pressure while loaded if it drops below 6 is not bueno.
Did you ever replace the stock pump. What was the psi readings afterwards? My Dodge also runs around 6 psi .
Yes. I replaced it with a Fleece lift pump. I get 21psi now.
Where did you get the banjo fitting ?
You think that banjo bolt would be the same on a 6.7? And it would work fine in same location?
Sorry for the late reply. Should work the same.
I have a FASS pump on my 03 Cummins but my wiring harness doesn’t have enough wire to reach behind my cab. Could I still tap in on the CP3 here? I know it’s not recommended but will it still work?
That’s where the supply line from your FASS hooks up so you should get a reading. They say for those pumps to install a push lock fuel pressure “T” in the supply line from the lift pump to the CP3 for a more accurate reading. This is what the fitting looks like: www.xtremediesel.com/xdp-push-lock-fuel-pressure-tee-xd200
Does the boost fooler work good? Was just looking at those last night
I believe so
Where did you get your banjo fitting and gauge from and do you have part numbers for them?
I purchased both from Xtreme Diesel Performance. Gauge part# ISPR14055, Banjo part# XD201.
@@j.j.sgarage1457 Thanks. Do I need to run a snubber valve on my 2006 Cummins 5.9 ?
You do not with this gauge.
@@j.j.sgarage1457 TY so much
Np👍🏽
Stupid question but is this got the 5.9 in it or 6.7?
5.9👍🏽
JJ is your truck a 5.9?
Yes!
