- Happy Friday ya'll! 👋🏾I've discovered so many different 🔥wash & go combos, and its only right I share with ya'll! If you've seen my night time/morning routine video, these are the products I used to achieve that wash & go. I've also posted my results using these products several times on my Instagram story. With that being said, its about time I dropped this video! Let me know what you guys think of this combo and, am I the only one that's been sleeping on Curls Unleashed products? 👀🤔

So about that area you’re calling damaged I understand the struggle lol I have an area on the center right top (🤦🏿♀️ what am I saying) part of my head where my curls look exactly like that real stretched looking and strange it doesn’t really bounce, I’ve cut my hair more than enough throughout the years to know it just grows out my damn head with an attitude in that one section 😭🤦🏿♀️🤣

Courtney Alexz I do have some parts like that as well! 😩 That don’t curl like the rest & literally have no reason to be “damaged”. But this part specifically is damaged because thats where I used to part my hair/lay my edges pretty much every wash day 😪 It’s superrr thin & pretty much lifeless now. It used to be even worse in the beginning so I’m hoping it’ll all grow out 🤞🏾🤞🏾
The top of my head is similar- not damaged; it just grows that way! 👍🏽😘

Looks GORGEOUS!!! I used to have the same situation at the front of my head (limp waves instead of springy curls). I had tension damage. The tight sleek styles I wore contributed. I stopped & gave that part a rest, and chopped half of it off (bangs made it easier). Now 1 year later I have springy curls in the front (when I TRULY used to believe it may have been naturally limp, but nope!)
Wow that gives me hope! That one piece is definitely a result of tension damage. I don’t see myself chopping it anytime soon tho 😭😅 but hopefully once it grows out my curls will come back 🤞🏾

I got several ORS products from the Natural Hair shoes too!! It’s crazy because I never touched them but something told me to recently and it’s the bomb. Very moisturizing

I have a piece of hair that doesnt curl neither. I rarely use heat so i know it isnt heat damaged and its growing out of my head like that too
Destiny M. Yeah I have a few parts of my hair that do the same 😪 but that particular piece is a result of constantly parting my hair & slicking my edges. Hopefully it’ll grow out 😩
It can be tension damage from wearing sleek styles, buns, or parting constantly, shretching your hair, etc.
Klovely7 i dont sleek my hair or wear my hair in tight ponytails/buns, its literally growing out of my scalp like that. It curls but its not as defined as other parts of my head

Your hair is not unnaturally damaged in the front. There is the theory that often the top and front of hair often curls less due to being stressed by the sun and its higher exposure to the elements.
Fo Adunni It’s tension damage as a result of constantly slicking down that part of my hair to lay with my edges. It didn’t start looking like that until after I abused that 😪
@@CaramelCoils ohhhhh I forgot entirely about that possibility because allllllot of black women have looser hair in the top and front with no abusive practices. Regardless your hair is perfect.

Gorgeous!!! I love how fluffy and flowy your wash n gos are! I might have missed it if you said it in the video, but how long do your wash n gos last? I think I’ve gotten away with maybe 3 days, then my hair becomes crunchy, dry, and matted. 😔
Thank youu 😊💛 They last a good 4 days. Then they start to get a little stiff, so I usually where it up in a simple low manipulation hairstyle

Yess go for it boo! Excited for you 🤗 but the only time I wear a shower cap under the dryer is when I’m deep conditioning
