Is It Odd That I’m Low Porosity But Literally Every One Of Your Combos Work On My Hair . I Did A Second Big Chop In Sept . It’s Currently Recovering/Growing Back From Color Damage , Which Led My Hair To Be High Porosity And Your Videos SAVEDDD ME But Even In It’s Low Porosity State Your Combos Are Still Sooo Good For My Hair 💕

Detangling really does make a difference. I used to skip over that part cause I was lazy but I find that it makes my curls come out more defined in the end and there’s less breakage overall

I really didn’t believe wash and go’s were for me, I was so bent on doing twist outs. However, your curl pattern is very similar to mine and I’m high porosity as well so I decided to give it a try and I love it.
I love the Kinky Curly Custard and your hair has to be extremely wet thoroughly it only works that way but my WashnGo I have 3c, 4a hair I use the Dove Amplified Textures Leave in Conditioner with Shea Moisture enhancing Smoothie along with the Kinky Curly Custard all 3 is a good combination for a WashnGo and it is moisturized and the curls pop and your hair is Nice and flowing also.

First time watching your channel...thank you for the tips! I thought something was wrong with my hair. Products that used to work don’t work anymore. My hair was dry like the Sahara. I’ve been natural for over 13 years, but I finally decided to take this porosity issue seriously. I realized I’m high porosity as well, so this was a big help, because I love my wash and go’s and was so discouraged that they were just failing. I was about to cut it off! I have a new motivation now, especially after seeing all that hair on your head!!

I swear I tried to force myself to like the curling custard, but I just could not get into it. It wasn’t so much that it was flaking but the sticky feeling never went away, maybe I needed more water. But I LOVE the detangler. But your hair looks bomb though, I’ll definitely try that leave in.

If you havent tried the Creme of Nature Pure Honey shrinkage defense curl activator yet I would definitely reccomend. It prolongs my wash and go,silicone free, no crunch and is just overall amazing and can be found at Walmart.

I have to try itttttt. I'm low porosity but my strands loves a thick leave in and hates coconut oil. An it has cones too. My hair is here for it. Come through with the cones
That Kinky Curly used to be my JAM!!! But, I stopped buying it cuz I’d go through the bottle too quick. AND with my low porosity curls it literally would take 24hrs or more the completely dry 😩 BUT, the definition it yields is BOMB!!!

Agree: wash and go's are deeply satisfying. Equally satisfying are pre-poo treatments that I apply and leave in the night before wash day. I tried twists a couple of times over the years, and it's hit or miss...my hair doesn't dry in one night and I hate sitting under dryers or using blow dryers. With a wash and go, my hair looks great soaking wet, semi wet, totally dry...doesn't matter. My fave combo is the Melanin softening leave-in + KCCC

Hey, do you experience a little breakage everytime you wash your hair? I'm finding it difficult to completely eliminate breakage everytime I detangle my hair

When your applying your styling products do you get shed hair I do even though I just detangled in the shower. When ever I watch your videos on styling it looks like you NEVER get shed hairs. Do you cut that footage out ?

Any manipulation causes breakage, even just small pieces we don’t see. And especially if you finger detangle, more shed hair is somewhat normal. Make sure your products have enough slip so you’re not ripping your hair out from the root. Otherwise, as long as it’s full length strands with the follicle at the end, you should be okay.

You could do some cornrows if you know how to that's what my hair is currently in or nice mini twists or bride cause it's kinda hot where I am so I tend to keep my hair out my face

But I have another QUESTION: My hair texture looks like yours and I have color treated/high porosity hair. Should I use glycerin hair products in the summer.
