There are only 3 requirements in the US constitution for running - you must be a natural born citizen, you must be over 35 years old, and you must have resided within the U.S. for 14 years.
The senator, as far as I am aware, meets these - he's 42 and was born in Arkansas. So - yes, he's eligible.
P.s. As an American, don't worry...I don't much understand the intricacies of British politics either.

He says he is building a home in Ozark MO, even showed a half finished house picture, back in 2020. You would think it would be done by now. His plan IS to run for POTUS, always has been. He has used each office he has held as a step up the ladder. After promising in ad campaigns for Missouri Attorney General never to do so. Didn't take him long to abandon that office for Senator.

I'm a St Louisan, and I've watched Kim Gardner let the city collapse and burn (thank God I live in the county, not the city.)
