Maybe it's just me, but I imagined this video was a tour of your new apartment. :( I spent 1,5 years looking for mine, 2-3 hours checking listings online on a daily basis! At one point I almost gave up, though my inner voice kept telling me to trust the process. Soon after I 'gave up', I found an apartment that looked much worse in pictures than in real life (it had been renovated in the meantime), went & saw it and made the offer in 2 hours after that. The search for 1,5 years helped me know what I wanted and what was realistically possible in the area and hence find the best looking apartment at the best price for my budget (funnily enough, other smaller, uglier apartments in other areas close by were significantly more expensive). I felt that the apartment itself was a divine gift for all my hard work to look for it for so long and for the 20 years of hard savings! Wishing you happy days & experiences in your new home!🍀🌈

Congratulations on your new pad!!!! Man, this one really resonates as I went through all of this last year moving from one house to another. There was a house we wanted SO badly and didn't get and we were so emotionally invested, it crushed us. And then with seemingly no effort or attachment, the right home popped up and we got it. Looking back, the first house would not have worked as well, so everything worked out. Everything you said in this video is spot on! But maybe we should change the lyric to that song to "We can't always get what we *think* we want." ;)

There's something to be said about being independent and dependent on someone else and their plans because they may not aligned with your own, I've struggled in school and with depression and cancer and work and me don't seem to get along... I'm not the typical 22 year old guy, I always get looked down upon for who I am and I don't drive out of fear 😨 but I told myself that I must take a stand and be independent! DO IT FOR ME! I proud of this vid!
To be honest, I learn just a few things here and there from your videos. But, mostly your videos are just entertaining and calm!

I am currently going through this process. Already made a couple of offers just to lose on the bid. Affordable housing crisis everywhere. Totally understand what you went through.
As someone who's been passively looking for the last year (or two) and waiting for the right opportunity, I can relate badly to the confusion that is to know when to make the jump. I'm in no rush, or so I tell myself, but I long for the day I can sign that contract. Last year it was pure desperation as I saw the amount of available options going down every day, prices going up at a crazy rate, nearly jumped at a "good enough" opportunity, but I'm glad I took the time to think that through, I don't believe I would have been happy there. Thankfully opportunities and prices seem to be going in the right direction again, so I'm feeling like it might soon be my time.

At least you are/were, in a financial position to afford to buy a place. It's becoming a reality for many people your age, and even older, that home ownership, is out of reach. My cousin just bought a place, now the bank owns him. Congratulations on the new place.

It's interesting that you can "buy" an apartment over there. In the US that would be referred to as a condominium. At lease you're building equity in something. Glad you found something.

House hunting is certainly a war. Im an infj too, aged 26 and We’re in the similar position in life. Moved 3 times in the last 2 years. Last month my offer get accepted in the same month however I got married as well and we luckily found our forever dream home fast. Can’t wait to start renovating and start my happy ever after.

I mean even if I had this kind of money I would still buy a field and build a prokat house with 1/3 of the money that she spent or probably even less, with a big yard to make the dog happy.....but everyone has different tastes and I guess a prokat would be less warm in winters ..Other than that, I hope that you will enjoy it and feel like it is your nest😂
