    Very informative. I am exclusively breastfeeding my son who is 3week, good to know that if my period do not return I don't need contraception.

      Take it from me, please get contraception once you are back to being sexually active. I started my periods 7 weeks after having my baby(who I was exclusively breastfeeding) meaning ningecheza vibaya that month I would have babies less than one year apart. Depends on your fertility too.

    It's so true about breast feeding being a natural contraceptive. I breast fed my 3rd child for 2.5 years and my periods came that month after I stopped breast feeding.

    I'm curious as to why pumping wouldn't work if one is still doing it every 3 hours.
    I know there is always the rule and tbe exception BUT I pumped for my baby till she was 1 year. I started TTC when she was 8 months old as I'd gotten my period 28 days post partum so had assumed I could get pregnant. But I didn't fall pregnant untill after I stopped pumping (she was not feeding direct from the breast) I assumed it was just hormonal from breastfeeding, is this correct?
