Hello. I got a Avital 5l05x installed and they gave me 2 key fobs. I was wonder if I go to the dealer and get the original key fobs, would that affect the Avital? Thank you
I have the same alarm avital 3100 but after I closed the doors it doesn't automatically after 30 seconds like some alarms does it active and itself the cars, that function don't work on my alarm how can I active it the passive mode
Hi, i have the same alarm system. There is a feature for when you wash the car, by using the remote only, you can disarm the alarm so it wont go ON on you, mine got stock on that and i can go out of it. How can i reset that?
Find the push button on the bottom of the dash turn the key in the on them turn off the key and just press it one time light will go out then ready to go
guess I wouldn't need auto insurance with this kit !its good...... life time warranty mean when that business goes out of business so does you warranty !
Dunno what where you from, but where I am, auto insurance is still required regardless if you have an auto alarm or not. having an auto alarm should allow you to have some kind of discount from your car insurance.
My controller went out. Changed batteries, still won't turn my alarm off.and I tried holding that button With keys in ignition but won't turn off. Please help.
@@aasmiami - thanks. Thanks to your video and lots of other similar videos and wiring specs for my pickup that I found online - - I finally got my Avital 3100 installed. I went slow and cautious because I didn't want to destroy my truck's wiring or ruin the control box, but I was successful and it's working perfect.
I have this alarm for my 92 accord and it works bad ass it even has the kill switch I recommend this alarm for everybody especially Honda owners
absolutely must for a Honda I have it on my 93 Accord Avital is the same company as viper great quality really happy and secured

I have a 2300 and It's been on my 96 Tahoe for over 5 years and I have not change the batteries. Maybe that's why they stop making them.
Do your hazards or turn signal lights flash along with the alarm?

I just had it installed 12 hrs ago and now the damn thing goes off even when I'm driving!!! I hate it

If that was the case, then the alarm sensitivity is se too high. Who every installed it didn't set the sensitivity correctly.
Is the control unit (the brain of the alarm) installed in the engine compartment?
