I think a motion sensing alarm may be better, as a stationary alarm can go off when your not around and keep sounding off. Not good if you go on vacation and it wakes your neighbors up at 3 a.m,!! A movement alarm shuts itself off after no movement and then will reset the alarm back on again. All alarms will often give off a "fake alarm" but the motion sensing alarm will then reset itself, where the stationary one keeps blasting away until the battery dies!

This cars particular shock sensor add-on is a DS4+? From my understanding after watching this video is that this particular shock sensors covers any bang/hit done to the exterior of vehicle- windows tires and body of vehicle. However, here's my current situation. A local car alarm shop owner here in my city told me something different. He says that he has to add the tilt and shock sensors to the DS4+ installation for the price of $1,000, and that he would throw in the sensor for the windows free of charge in case someone tries to break my car window the sensor will activate the alarm. Is this local shop owner trying to get-over on me? My car is a 2021 Camaro SS.

I have the same alarm in my truck. I purchased my truck used and this alarm was already installed. Once you shut any of the doors after 2 mins everything automatically locks even if you have the truck running. Can I disable the automatic locking of all the doors. I don’t to get lock out of my truck my keys in the ignition.
