Thanks man! Yeah, I have an old Mack truck, but I want to put in a 12 valve as well. The fuel economy and ability to make big power on these engines is insane.
My 1990 5 speed Dodge Reg cab 4x4 got a steady 21 mpg and it was heavy all of the time and I live up north and it's hilly. I miss that truck 🤠

There's a couple of interesting mods that could really help, there is that one adjustable fuel plate I don't remember what it's called and a gear vendors so you get that extra gear and you can split gears then a regear to something like 4.88's or 5.13's id really imagine a lifted dually really needs some short rear gears then you get basically stock rpms on the highway

My trucks filler neck always ends up getting filled and clicks the pump off. And i have to wait for it to drain into the tank, are you saying that happens to you too?
Yeah that happens to mine too. I just have to point it a bit more in line and it pumped better
Did you update your steering ..? Looking to update my truck to get rid of that squirrelly steering.
Yes I did, I have the PSCXD steering gear as well as the synergy steering linkage. I have given the front end of this truck all of the best parts. If you’d like I will make a video review of them in the near future

Why shift a automatic transmission?
Good question, I recently had this truck right down to the bare frame. There’s been a lot of quirks on the electrical side of things and unfortunately the transmission is not shifting properly
Hopefully you can get this sorted. Electrical gremlins are a pain.

This is Friday .. Diesel went up to $2.37 litre ..
Next day , Saturday .. UARB used the interrupter again last night .. This morning diesel is set at $256.8 per litre ..

That’s per liter, 3.78 liters in a us gallon. Very expensive
Today diesel price is $5 gallon and got $20 And not even 5 gallon’s of fuel. Lol

That’s a fair point, the truck originally came with 3.55 once it went to 37 inch tires I would’ve had to go to 4.30 to keep the stock ratio and I chose to go to 4.11 in order to lower my highway RPM. As I’ve mentioned it a few older videos I kind of wish that I would’ve gone to 4.30 as this is mostly an around town truck
