I was flying too much!! My brain was fried!!

  • Since I reduced the number of flights I am flying better again! As a freelancer and in my age I have the luck to be able to fly as often as I want. Sometimes up to 18 batteries in one session on the field. Now I know that it was too much, especially as I am training inverted fyling, which is a challenge for an old brain like mine. All control inputs are reversed, especially up and down - which can be very expensive. And it's windy like hell. Since almost two weeks I am flying much less batteries and even gave myself a day off from flying to allow my brain to recover. And I am feeling much more fresh and I have more fun again! Please write in the comments if you know this feeling or if you experiences something similar.
I guess already these crashes were caused by pilot fatigue:
    I crashed 4 helicopters: • I crashed 4 helicopter...
After crashing get up at once • After crashing get up ...

I swear, you and I Matthias we are on the same page my friend. GREAT ADVICE! Since work has got me stuck at home much more lately, I still haven't had a chance to really get back out into a nice open field in some time now. BUT, I'm flying a battery pack, sometimes 2 right in my front yard each day. I'm getting more and more comfortable in tight spaces each flight. Another great video.

@AnythingEverythingRC Thank you! I feel as well that we have a lot in common! Great to fly regulry but not too often! And for sure flying in tight space is a really good training to learn to fly precisely and to bring the heli to definde places where you want to have it and it's not flying all over the place!

@Rcheliguy thank you very much, my friend! I take it now a bit more slow, fly less and it is really going better! I hope you will finish the setup of your new heli soon! All the best and happy flights!!

You are doing well. Try-out to give some negatieve pitch when you are on top of your loop. That way you can extend your loop or keep a moment inverted in your loop😊

@jwdrone512 Thank you very much! I am trying this at the moment. Timing and amount of negative pitch on top are not easy! But this is making it so awesome! Best greetings!!

Sailors on the sea and lakes love this wind, we helicopter-pilots hate it. I agree with you, that some recovery is needed.
Question: Is the M4 MAX easier to fly in this windy conditions, than the M4?

@jupi-aladin To be honest I did not find a clear answer, if the M4 or the M4 Max is easier to fly in winds. At the moment I fly only the M4 because I have it 4 or 5 month longer and know it better. I will fly the M4 Max next week. It has more power and is less affacted of Vortex Ringsate Effects. But I just have much less flights on it. I will come back to you!!
