  • Preparing a new inverted video I crashed my M2 EVO. When I called my wife to tell her that it makes so sense to come to make a video because I crashed my heli she said: "You have the M4 Max with you, is it still ok? Then get back in the saddle and fly it! I'll be there in 10 minutes!" And this on the International Womens Day when other women prefer to go out for a dinner!! So with shaky knees from the M2 EVO crash I was flying my M4 Max and I can tell you: It's really the best t go on right away. And to have a great supporting wife is priceless!

    Mathias , The only RC Heli Pilots that do not crash are the ones that don´t fly 😂 , crashing is part of the hobby it happens specially when we are learning new manouvers so keep it up Man ¡¡¡¡

      @arturosierra Thank you so much! I was crashing much less (almost never, really) when I was "sitting" in my nice comfort zone. Doing stuff I knew well... repeating the same maneuvers all over again. Stuff I knew to do after one year, or one and a half. I could have stayed there for sure. But going on and falling sometimes is the nature of life. We all had so many falls when we learned to walk as Babies... and thankfully we never gave up! Thank you so much!! I keep going! Right now! High time!! Sun out - wind as well... but the wish to fly is stronger than any wnd! All the best to you!!

      @HeliShed Thank you my friend for the greay tip with the vi-fly beeper! It is even a great motivation to land as smooth as only possible. I set it to highest sensitivity and I bump my helis hard on the ground it's registered as crash. So i brieng them all down smoothly. And You are right: I started crashing again as soon I started to move on with new stuff. Best greetings, Tyger!!

    Glad my comment about the lost alarm beeper helped!
    I never heard about this type of alarm i only heared about the ones that you have to turn on yourself with a switch on your radio.
    I'm surely going to look into this one.

      @Rcheliguy Thank you very much, buddy! I definitely could need some good amount of safe flying now! I have crashed more in the last few weeks since I started my inverted adventure in the real life than in half a year or even longer when I was doing olny stuff I knew very well! I wish you a great and safe maiden flight with the new heli. First of all the weather to do the maiden. I remember that I finished my M4 Max early December last year and more than had two weeks super bad weather until I got her finally in the air! I wish you better!! I thought i'd go crazy, because I was so keen to see the M4 Max flying and every day it was impossible!!

    Great flight with the m4! I’m building the goblin raw 500 right now after only flying s1 and s2. I’m crashing the s1 regularly lately trying a new orientation. Part of the game.

      @frisos Thank you very much for you encouragement and empathy!! This M4 flight was very, very carefully because the crash happened so fresh and so stupid (lack of altitude). The good thing is, I found a great way to replace the Elevator Servo horn on my M2's. After unscrewing the servo I clip of the ball link from the elevator ball and that gives me moch more space to put on the new servo horn with the control link mounted on the servo! Have great flights!

    It's happens to us all Matthias. My last video, i killed my new blades. It takes 3 to 4 weeks to get new ones. So thats my flywing fw200 out of the sky. The wind is crazy again here in Ireland, so i am grounded again. Blessings from Ireland 🇮🇪 Eamon

      @rolex thank you Eamon for your good supporting words! It's so good to know that it happens to others as well! Makes it a bit easier to swallow! I know something about wind! Very often I like flying in wind but know I would dream of a more calm day!! It's too much lately and the wind is extremely cold. I am frozen all the time when I return home! Time for the REAL spring to come!! Blessings from Poalnd to You, my friend!!

      @RCCopterLove-helis4ever  Před 2 měsíci +2

      @Simonsutherland. Thank you very much, Simon. The ViFly Beacon works indepenend and has an own small battery (charged via usb) which supplies it with energy for 30 hours when the crash alarm is engaged. I have one for all my helis and place it on the tail booms (velcro and a zip tie) of the heli I actually fly. Weights 5 gr only. It has a sensor which measures hard touches or lack of any movement. I such cases it starts to beep very loud after 30 seconds (100 dB). If you should not find it because the model crashed too far to hear the signal it has a light detector and starts to flash a small LED during the darkness so that you can searching the flashing lights. It was created to search drones, but it works on helis and planes as well. viflydrone.com/products/vifly-beacon-drone-buzzer I hope this helps! Best greetings!!
