    FINALLY AT LEAST ONE OTHER VIDEO

    When I try to shorten the pile height which requires shortening the gear screw (the long one attached to the gear) which then causes the tab that goes under the sensor tabs to bump up against the back of the gun. I need to see a video of shortening the pile not just lengthening the pile please.

    hi, thanks for the tutorial, I have an issue, the thing is that modifing the length I think that I swept the first screw, the one that allows to move the pusher, it works well though, but i am a bit worried if it can make problems

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety

      As long as the pusher stays in place when you push/pull, I don't think it's a problem.

    Do you know what sizes those Alan wrenches are? I bought my gun second hand and didn’t get the tools that came with

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Alissah, sorry for the late response. We somehow missed your comment.
      The wrenches have the following sizes:
      3.9 mm big
      3 mm middle
      2.38 mm small
      The distance between two parallel sides.
      We will bring them as spareparts to the shop next week.
      Have a great weekend

    Thanks for the nice explanation I have been searching for a while how to get this machine because it is not available in my country. Can you send it to Syria and how much does it cost and the shipping fees?

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey, we just checked and unfortunately none of our shipping partners offer shipping to syria. Sorry

    Where can i buy replacement scissors for this gun? I know that the ones for the other style of tufting gun are a different length and can’t seem to find the right ones...!

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 3 lety

      With our guns, there is always a replacement scissor if you purchase it. I guess you don't have the gun from us, since we are only expecting the first batch to arrive. But we can check if these fit anyway. You can send me an email to help@tuftinglove.com with a picture of your scissors incl. measurements so we can make sure you buy a suitable replacement.

    Can you explain how I assemble the white gear back in place. Yarn got stuck so I got it out but the screw on what attaches to the white gear became loose I made a mistake and unloosed it not knowing and it fell off now I can’t attach it back in place

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety

      The T-shaped nut goes on top of the white gear, then the square plate underneath the white gear before the bearing. The screw comes comes last to tighten everything back in place.

    Hi! I just try to do the same as you but a can't put in completely and cannot put the first screw you took out! It turns and turns but doesn't seem to enter! :'(

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety

      You might have unscrewed it too much, so the counterpart is not in place anymore. check the tutorial on how to change the scissors. it sits beneath the scissors.

    I accidentally pulled out my pusher and don’t know how to tighten it, can you help?

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety

      Hey Georgina,
      You can follow this tutorial here: czcams.com/video/4xTfyNnSJxU/video.html the counterpart of the pusher is placed below the scissors, so if you ''exchange'' the scissors like shown in the tutorial i linked you you can access it, tighten the pusher back in and bring everything back together.

    I don't know what happened but I just try to loosen the first black screw and now it doesn't tighten back and I cannot use my tufting gun because it always falls of

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety

      You probably loosend it too much and lost the counterpart. You can check out our: How the exchange the scissors tutorial, to reach it. The counterpart is located underneath the scissors

    Huh, on the video for that same gun, on the companies official website, they adjust the top one. 🤔

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety

      There are different options of how to do it, we will release a video for the AK-I soon. We just find the top version pretty complicated and there are so many options for errors.

    • @shannonbroughton5620
      @shannonbroughton5620 Před 2 lety

      Which company website are you referring to? I need to see a different version as this doesn’t explain making the pile shorter

    • @Tuftinglove
      @Tuftinglove  Před 2 lety

      As i said in the previous comment. it's two different approaches. Also this is a tutorial on an NK1 not an AK-I what might look the same, but is a bit different in handling. Our new AK-I pile height tutorial is coming soon.
