8:45 Was that... Did we... just see a kidnapping on a busy highway?
That’s what I’m saying? Cartel?
No! "We" didn't see anything! 😃
Normal day in Mexico
This is why I always lock all my doors
@@wolffriendinus Chances are, the driver of the van was in on it. Why do you think it was unlocked? :)
8:53 - umm was that a kidnapping?? WTH?
A little human trafficking at its best. That is crazy
Welcome to Mexico.
@@rigobertogarza7945 Was it Mexico? I didn't recognize the plates.
I was here looking for the answer too??😮
I suspect it is Mexico. Myself, I think maybe the individual was sick and they were transferring to a different vehicle.
2:00 For more context. That area is closed to motorized vehicles including ATVs. The cop was on patrol in the park when he noticed an ATV coming at high speed towards a group of pedestrians, including children. When he angled his car to protect them from the on coming ATV. The ATV then lost control and hit his cruiser.
Okay that makes more sense.
Wanted to add more context, The ATV rider will be getting cited as soon as he is out of the hospital and the New Haven PD stood behind the officer and said he followed protocol.
The cop car is a motor vehicle and according to the rule of law his vehicle should not be there either.
@@fiskin13so using a motor vehicle where motor vehicles are prohibited is acceptable? Have you ever heard of the rule of law? Go check it out. The cops should be held accountable for everything
@@robcabob1og Just so you know, the police vehicle has permission to be there. I read the whole article on this story and obviously you didn't. Might want to do some research before commenting.
Clip 8, officer could've been on a priority call "no lights no sirens" and needed to get through the intersection.
Especialy when you see his speed after he turns his lights off ...
Like a robbery in progress
My first thought was, "How do you know that the ONLY reason was to run a red light?!?" My assumption would be that he was responding to a call.
So imagine flying through a red light like that and causing an accident. Instant payout.
@@samkdaily3055 imagine completely glossing over the FACT the officer activated his lights, paused to check that it was safe to proceed, and THEN proceeded through...
Don't you just hate it when you look up from your phone, right in the middle of a text, and discover a car right in front of you? Not only is it hard to complete the text, but now you have to either hit the car or slam on your brakes or yank the wheel violently to one side and lose control. But I'll bet you still have the phone in your hand.
6:47 Tesla is the new BMW
(7:37)...
THANK YOU FOR BEING "THAT PERSON" THAT ACTUALLY STOPS IN FRONT OF WRONG WAY DRIVERS, & MAKES THEM STOP AND TURN AROUND!👌🏽
Context
#7 That road was closed to all motor vehicles and was full of cyclists and family's walking strollers The ATV (Not street legal) was traveling a high rate of speed in a restricted zone and the officer crossed over to shield the family's , small kids and bicyclists that would of been struck
And, it should also be mentioned, New Haven PD was responding to a series of 911 calls about a group of ATVs gathering at one end of Farnam Dr. New Haven has had a problem with ATV riders being a general nuisance to law-abiding citizens.
The PD cracking down on illegal operation of ATVs has been widely publicized, and strongly supported by everyone who ISN'T one of these menaces.
@@dashcamandy2242yep ATVs are always a nuisance. People complaining about what happened obviously couldn't care any less about other people around them
Thank you for the extra information. I was so confused.
It's a really good reason #27 stayed anonymous. You don't want the cartels to know who posted this or assassin's be coming
This clip is exactly why I always keep my car doors locked, even if I'm in a safe neighborhood. You never know what could happen.
But still, the cartel or the suspect can get through this channel to find that dc owner . Even this channel doesn't want to give the contact, this owner channel will be haunting by them .
I hope he handed this footage to authorities.
8:40 Another beautiful day in Mexico where kidnappings happen.
And killings
0:47 that’s why you never trust a blinker.
Watched that over an and over, and the blinker NEVER blinked right. Both yellow indicators are on, and the right turns off, once the left blinker flashes. Cammer is 100% at fault, and they shouldn't be passing on the left through an intersection.
@@coreykirkpatrick4392 and they shouldn't be passing on the left through an intersection--- They werent passing they were making a left from the left turn lane.
EDIT: On second viewing I agree cammer was trying to go straight in the left turn only lane.
@@coreykirkpatrick4392 So you're never allowed to make a left if there's a car in the right lane? SMH!
@@spamlessaccount No, you're never allowed to use the left turn lane to go straight to pass a car you're assuming is turning right.
@@jackreckeb430 Why do you think he was trying to go straight?
2:29 Pretty sure the cop did not turn on his lights JUST to run the red light. He was in a hurry to get to a call but tried to get thru the light as safely as possible. Sometimes cops don't want to advertise where they are heading.
Yup. Just because *you* don't know why someone does something, doesn't mean they have no reason for doing it.
0:47 Cammer should have slowed down to stop like the signal indicated and stayed in the straight lane to go straight. There are two idiots in this clip.
And the car in front did not have their blinker on indicating they were going right. They had no blinker on at all.
@@kimberlygarrish205 It looks like where the clip starts we see the last blink of the right turn, and then it switches to a left turn blinker.
02:10 Come on, why'd you clip the video? That was a good lesson learned there. Edit: then you also cut out the context of a dude running 50+ mph on a pedestrian path.
Clip 26 @ 8:26 "Don't cross over double-yellow lines!" He's right, *but then immediately does the same thing?* Can't make this stuff up! 🤷🤷♂🤷♀
2:15 - You edited out the best part.
Saw that on another channel yesterday. Do not know how they survived. YIKES!!!
@@roguedisciple2966 welp....
7, THAT'S the kind of street atv videos I like! Those idiots getting what's coming to them.
Those idiots are trying to take over the streets in New Haven and that clip made me very happy.
#15 This is exactly why driving is a privilege: silver car was clearly was not paying attention and shuts down the freeway with their gross negligence.
In the States, is it normal for someone to honk, keep honking, and accelerate when someone else makes a mistake? Everyone makes mistakes, right?
Cammers never make mistakes
It's not normal, but it happens. You just see more of those cases in these clips because of selection bias. If the other person makes a mistake and cammer slams on their brakes and honks their horn, it's usually not very dramatic. So those clips tend not to be submitted to dashcam channels. But if they honk and speed up to cut the person off, that usually leads to more drama and road rage. So those clips tend to make it onto dashcam channels.
They were driving a Chevy Silverado, they think they're entitled
6:47 im coming through with my tesla tesla, everybody watch out.
And if I get in an accident I'll blame auto pilot..
9:12 going 23 mph in the left lane speeds up to 30 to get "cut off"
He's doing 23 because the traffic in front of him is. He speeds up when they do.
8:56 WTF?! Kidnapping? 😵💫😵💫
#3 Watched that over an and over, and the blinker NEVER blinked right. Both yellow indicators are on, and the right turns off, once the left blinker flashes (normal operation). Cammer is 100% at fault, and they shouldn't be passing on the left through an intersection, especially if it's a left turn lane, regardless. 17 year old inexperience.
Cammer tried to beat the yellow light, and drive straight from the turning lane. Speed is to high for the situation... but blaming the other car .....
What makes you think he's trying to go straight? He pulls into the turn lane as soon as it opens and then only moves left.
I put them at 50/50. But i also left a comment stating the light had changed yellow and the cammer somewhat ran through that running into the other car.
It blinks right 2x at the very start of the clip. You have to step through it frame by frame with a magnifying glass because it's so small and washed out by the brake lights. But it's definitely blinking. Then blinks left just before the left turn. Still, it's an illegal left turn. And cammer is either trying to go straight in a left turn lane, or is approaching way too fast for a left turn.
@@spamlessaccount He swerved left to avoid the impact. He would never have successfully navigated a left turn at that speed.
1:56 That had a spectacular ending lol.
0:40 you guys are crazy. The blinker was clearly left but yes the white car is in the wrong lane for a left hand turn. The smart move would be to just wait as the light is turning yellow anyway. The white car is legally going to be at fault, but this was avoidable by just slowing down for two seconds and making sure you understand what's happening before proceeding
0:45 good lesson for defensive driving despite what the blinker says

What's worse than a distracted driver? A guy who listens to commercials and girlie music full blast.
A guy who lays on the horn and stays next to the other car until he would have gotten into an accident, instead of using his brakes to avoid an accident.

03:00 based on the angle of the dashcam, I'm guessing the driver has grown accustomed to getting hit by airplanes
Excellent video!
1:25 Anyone noticed how the polite drivers block traffic to let people through but are never polite enough to check on people when an accident happens?
Very common sadly
@@CaptainCJ97i never let people turn left in front of me unless all the lanes are stopped with traffic. Too many incidents where the so-called polite drivers just leave.

One of the few time I agree with you
I’m sure he was patrolling
how much money is spent on road signs that no one bothers to read so they know their exit is near?
2:35 Quite often cops need to respond to an emergency without lights and sirens (because they don't want to alert a potential perp that they are arriving) so they'll turn on lights to get through an intersection and then turn them back off.
2:46 dont swerve out of your lane if you hit someone else instead. now the truck driver is at fault instead of the suv driver if he kept on going straight
These videos are the only thing I look forwards to everyday

8:54 That was a kidnapping, in case you didn't know.
2:45 This is why you almost NEVER SWERVE! They went from being the victim of an accident to the cause of another accident.
I have a weekly appointment that takes me through the turn shown in #1 "Livonia, Michigan". It feels weird to see it in this MegaDrivingSchool video, after watching 400 of them and always seeing unknown places.
Your telling me, I live like a mile from this accident lol
6:45 they should lose their licence!

@3:33 I wonder if that qualifies as bad drivers never miss their exit. 😂
I couldn't help but guffaw at both the ludicrous video and your comment.
We can retire that phrase. It's not clever, says nothing, and everyone has heard it before.

@@neilbradleysounds like you enjoy slamming across 4 lanes of traffic to get to your exit
1:11 - Yeah, luckily no one was there.
But there had been, it would have been the cammer's fault.
Stop swerving, people!
In fact, steer INTO a sideswiper! If they hit you and swerve away, they'll just push your car further.
But then commenters here will say you did it on purpose and are at fault LOL
I would say to avoid a collision if you can, but if you can’t, at least be sure the vehicle that caused it is involved. Else he drives off scott free and you are left to explained why you had an accident.
#9 is a perfect example of hitting an innocent vehicle head-on, while completely missing the car that caused the accident.
Everyone makes mistakes. Bad drivers perfect them to an art form.
2:40: This is what's known as a _phantom_ collision. The gray SUV is at fault for failure to yield. Hopefully, they stuck around. But this is also a good reminder not to swerve into oncoming traffic.
3:00 - Crazy driver probably stole the SUV
Unless the cammer was slow
#16 5:10 Looked like the cammer was turning off to have themselves a cheeky little bit of a rage at the very end there.
9:15 If you gotta mention the wide-angle camera then it was probably a nothing burger anyway
8:53 what the f is happening here?!?
0:45 (#3) there is no evidence of any right turn signal in the video … only a car with a left turn signal in the wrong lane. It would have been better to slow down and see what the other car was going to do instead of what they did do.
#14 Calls out the red SUV driver for being at fault, but nothing said of the white SUV blocking the pedestrian crossing?
8:29 My guy, your'e going 17mph over the limit yourself... Slow down.
Look closer - he's not in a 30 zone.

#15 is 91 Freeway Eastbound at Green River Road, Corona. People always flying down there without paying attention.
#27 don't start a fight if you can't finish it.
0:47 Changing lanes approaching a yellow light is a bad move every time.
Unless you're turning left.
1:08 - Apparently she wasn't "Ready For It".
1:52 - "Too fast for road conditions" is a useless statement. Also, cammer was going the same speed, so too fast for him, not too fast for you?
4:24 - You don't need to state "no updates". If you had the updates, you'd post them.
7:54 - I'm not seeing any lanes "coming to a stop" but that was cutting it too close.
9:06 - That's an awfully generous definition of "flying".
Under 1 hour gang

9:20 Did someone get their feelings hurt?
When you miss your exit. It is best to go to the next exit. Figure out where you have to go. (Recalculate). Don’t stop on a freeway or cut over multiple lanes. Your going to die doing nonsense like that. What is wrong with people???????
Total irony,an unfocused driver,driving a Focus.
#9 - blame belongs to the car turning left that pulled out in front of the truck, not the truck that swerved to avoid hitting the car.
Theoretically, yes, although they didn't have a collision, the gray truck did.
7:45 Miss Storyline is losing it. The caption was for a few clips back. This is a Toyota Camry pulling the same stunt.
#27 8:38 Can someone tell me what happened there? Don't people lock their doors anymore? Mine is old yet it locks itself when put in gear. The guy they took out, didn't seem to be fighting back.
#24 This description is repeated from an earlier clip.
#22 Why show that clip?
2:34 cops can do this and by the looks of his speed hes driving to a call. and no they dont need their lights on the whole way. its a common misconception that they need their lights on but as long as theyre not going through redlight then then its ok for the most part
2:15 well the cop caused him to crash
Abduction on film! 💔☹😳😢
#5 1:19 The dark SUV also waiting to make a left turn sees the accident. Thinks "nope" and gives up on the left turn and goes straight.
1:23 JFC like the first car going through the light shouldve been an indicator to proceed with caution.
Nah, there couldn't POSSIBLY be another one!
6:15 - Nope.
" Hey, there's a guy about to pull out into the right lane. If I wait until I'm past him to change lanes, I won't have anything to put on CZcams!"
3:25 Glad no one else was hurt. As for the inattentive driver, that's what insurance is for. Go see a doctor.
You mean negligent driver. Probably doesn't even have insurance.
Trending in local newspaper: most accidents are caused by negligence involving left- of- centerline head-on & sideswipe accidents. Next most common are driving off the roadway, either left or right.
"...left or right". There are no other options. 😉😉
#9 hot take but people who swerve are morons and make things worse. Slam on your breaks and stay in your lane. I’d rather crash into in at fault driver than an innocent one or run myself off the road…leaving the at fault car undamaged and able to flee.
I always preferred slamming on company time.
2:37 darn shame she could've been not at fault if she just took the hit from the suv driver
1:20 cars stopped with the right of way wanted to see an accident
The only comments on this video should be about the kidnapping we all just witnessed right?
#28: What was that???
Pretty sure that was a kidnapping.
#9 But did the idiot that caused the crash get charged for it, and their insurance made to pay?
Doubt it.

6:44 how very Russia of you. Coming soon I guess to a highway near you. We are doomed.
Context on #27?🤔
5:42. Notes on screen say that "...Navigator decides to stop two full lanes of traffic to make her exit...."
I watched clip 3 times and it happens. Traffic was congesting anyway, and "she" should have gotten over a quarter of a mile sooner. But it happens. Most of us have done this move. As "she" did it, it wasn't bad. Not too illegal. Yes, we see many of these vids where driver should have gone down to the next exit, but.
Problem is accident. What Navigator did was not a problem. Yes, many drivers behind her ended up being one second late for work, and their respective businesses soon closed down as a result of such tardiness. I once worked for a place where if you were one second late, it was the same punishment as missing an entire day (both without an excuse).
The risks posed by idiots in cars are clear in these car crashes. Safety should never be compromised!
