Was gonnna say, I didn't see any contact either.
Nope. Close, but no contact 😕

@@SuperWoobaIt'll be the blue lights you see next.
The more I watch these kinds of videos the more I'm convinced that we need bare basic cars without all the screens and tech but something that disabled cell phones at the same time.
The more I watch them the more I am convinced a ton of people intentionally cause these accidents to get a check
On Android phones you can turn on the not disturb mode while driving and avoid it's distractions.
Or cars covered in bubble wrap.
Sound like your craving government intervention
We need cars that don't cost so much money to fix if they get bumped. They're too complicated, too fragile, too difficult to repair, and too heavy.
9:00 it was close but they didnt touch your car
Yea, I'm not sure why that guy was making such a big deal about it. Sure it was reckless but they didn't hit.
Didn't even look all that close, considering the angle.
To many people freaking out over ALMOST getting into a accident
@@spamlessaccount Eggsactly. I didn't even have to watch it a second time. Clearly, even at full speed, there is no contact.
Here's just a general tip. If you see someone drifting into you don't stay there to assert dominance because it's your lane or whatever, just slow down and let the idiot drift rather than risk a collision.
I see this a lot in many dashcam videos. Take the second clip of this video; I'm sure the camera car can see the pickup changing lanes, but they still decide to undertake rather than hold back in the off chance the pickup changes into the lane they are in, in which they did.
easy way to get a new car though 🤷🏻
How about this tip? _Don't change lanes without looking._ The one that needs a 'tip' is the one doing something wrong, not the other way around.
@@mvpfocus Well of course but what would you do if someone's drifting into you other than honking and hoping?
@@TapesNstuffS Adjusting your speed so as to not be in someone's blind spot is a good strategy, as well. But that doesn't mean you need to give way, either.
9:22 "I'm pretty sure you just hit my car"...uh, no they didn't.
9:35 "well I *was* on DNT"...uh, no you weren't.
4:20 Comment is 100% wrong. Easy to say there was room and time to avoid when you are watching it on a screen. By the time the SUV crossed into the other lane there was virtually no time.
Agreed. Anyone seeing the SUV making a right turn on red would've assumed it was headed for the right lane. Not the left lane he was driving in. If every time someone made a right turn on red, cars in the left lane always slowed down just in case the car was headed for the left lane, it would slow traffic so much that all 50 states would ban right turns on red.
This. I'm trying to figure out where there was "plenty of room to the left," because to the left is a full lane of stopped cars. The SUV took an extremely wide turn there.
Exactly… there was no time at all…
"Pullover" No it's a cardigan, but thanks for noticing. 😂
"No accident was occurred." Police Academy 2024

i can hear that in leslie Nielsen's voice.
14: Don't believe those were more than telephone and television cables the box truck ripped down. Even a 220v line would have provided a spectacular fireworks display.
I was wondering about that.
Yup. The communications company will have to fix that mess for the lines being too low. Luckily, it's just several upset customers with no Internet.
5:40 you gotta be kidding me
Right? The dude literally drove straight into a semi and on the wrong side of the road. Oblivious to the max
I REALLY wanted the person in the last video to reply "No, it's a cardigan...but Thanks for noticing!"
3:27-yes, give the clown space to avoid a collision, I applaud this driver. Now they can go about their day.
How to prove to the universe you are indeed truly an idiot: Drive alongside of someone you do not know shouting "Pull Over". Do you wait until they pull a firearm to realize how badly you f---ed up?
@4:30 *Been there, done that!* I was hired to deliver construction material down a Back Alley, where the wires were strung too low. My Dispatcher instructed me to *"take them out"* , and he was right! It was a Legally Open Roadway, my truck was under 12ft high, and *LEGAL STIPULATIONS FOR ANY WIRES STRUNG OVER RIGHTS-OF-WAYS FOR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC REQUIRE A MINIMUM HEIGHT OF 13ft-6in!!* So, the business, electrician, installer, utility and municipality are all at fault in this here clip... *NOT* the driver!!
2:18 Tesla owner alert!
careful, you forgot to mention it's a model 3 as well.🤥
That last video was close, but I didn't see any contact.
Look closer and you will see a dented bumper on the red SUV
@@davebigdogthat doesn't mean they hit cammer.
For the dude in the box truck taking out the service lines over a parking lot has a valid excuse. Generally wires are required to be 15ft over the ground or higher in some cases, With that truck likely being 13-6 it is perhaps on the crew that modified or installed the service last and didn't check clearances.
Hit a few service lines as my time driving a semi and more than not the utility provider paid to have my trailer or truck repaired if needed.
I'm sure you didn't do it on purpose like that terrorist.
8:10 Wow, I didn't know Jeep built such bad cars.
Wranglers should absolutely be governed to 55mph
These videos prove how many people should not be driving. It actually angers me
Very true. But part of the problem is the lack of options. When public transit and safe bike infrastructure are severely underdeveloped or absent entirely, then all of these said id!ots have no other choice but to drive a car in order to get anywhere.
We do get an unlimited supply of clips like these as a result though.
@@Yoshikarter1 I disagree, the problem is the test is too easy and a license and registration is too cheap. If more people depended on mass transit there would be more options for mass transit and people would live closer to where they worked.
@@MrPetej00 So in your own words, you want more people dependent on a government system. That speaks volumes.

5:55 - Funny how the young kid states several times how the "old man" was at fault (and yes he was), but get a clue - punching the accelerator to fly through an intersection with lights out is not smart either. Anticipation of danger zones like these can save you a lot of grief...
Well said, actually
Also, I was wondering about the other driver's age.
At 3:00 we see an accident in Windsor, Ontario.
Folks, there are no mountains or deserts in Windsor, Ontario........
And road signs aren't in miles but kilometers.
@@julies9798 Good catch.
theres no desert in canada
You saw a video from a long haul driver from Windsor Ontario.
I live 30 miles from Windsor Ontario, in the state of Michigan. See Lake Erie? All that water was glacial ice just a few thousand years ago. It FLATTENED all of Ontario. As others have said, Ontario is covered with dense deciduous forest, unless humans cut it down. NO desert.
3:44 NEVER turn left on yellow assuming that oncoming traffic will stop for the red. Tanker driver was at fault, but the SUV made a poor decision.
Why is the tanker at fault? Both were running red lights. The left-turning car failed to yield ROW to oncoming traffic
@@mayordjqthe tanker is at fault because he ran the red. The suv was already in the intersection with a yellow light. Tanker doesn’t have the right of way once his light turns red. He should have stopped. And if he couldn’t stop in time then he should be driving slower. Suv had the right of way to clear the intersection.
Ah, the return of the "I drive a Tesla" stereotype! I've missed that.
Tesla is not the only car with WAYYY too much power, but it DOES have the best electric drive tech and attracts speeders because it is the fastest road race dragster, and there are idiots in every type of car, truck or semi, every type of motorbike and there are idiot pedestrians too!
@9:11 "Pullover!? Pullover!?" Other driver: "No, actually it's a Cardigan, but thank you for noticing!" 👕
Good one LOL
Why do drivers stop 4 feet off the back of a car in a parking garage?
Wasn't expecting him to stop there? Maybe was looking down, then looked up, then quickly braked?
3:31 "Could have is the correct spelling of this phrase. It often gets misspelled as could of because of how the contracted version of could have (could've) sounds when pronounced aloud."
5:25 - You made sure to have a dashcam but forgot you had a horn.
2:03 Of course she didn't see you. She blindly pulled out before she could see you.
Yeah, 2:52 is DEFINITELY in Windsor
1:48 Say it louder for the people in the back. Just because your left turn signal turns red, doesn’t mean the requirement to yield goes away especially when you accelerate from a complete stop.
It was still yellow when the truck accelerated too, super easy for police and insurance to process. Imagine risking fatalities and destroying 2 vehicles just to save 3 seconds.
I'm baffled where people got the idea that yellow light means "escape the intersection at any cost"...
It's worse than that, because there never was a "green turn signal." It was just a circular green. So, the left-turner never has the right-of-way, and will therefore be at fault in any collision. Motorists that believe a red light is an upgrade over a green light are completely delusional.
@@TreeStump-and-CheeseKetchupIT There's a widespread misbelief that if you're waiting to make a left turn in an intersection, you need to begin clearing the intersection before your light turns red. You do not. As long as there's traffic approaching which you think could hit you, you are allowed to stay in the intersection even after your light turns red. This because a left turn on green (non-arrow) vehicle is the lowest on the right-of-way totem pole - you need to yield to *everyone*. So you are not in control of when it's safe for you to go. (That said, this case will probably be 50/50 fault since the truck ran a red light.)
@@solandri69 You have it backwards. The "widespread misbelief" is that a left on red is legal, when it's not, with the exception of one-ways. Legally, motorists must operate on green, *at the time the signal is displayed.*
in other countries, its illegal to ignore the yellow light like the suv did
8:02 Haven't you learned your lesson? Don't buy a Jeep Wrangler. They were never designed to be driven on a paved road. 🤦♂
#9 is not Windsor, ON
Video #14: Those were not power lines. They were old phone land lines & cable TV lines. Power lines are always at the very top of the poles.
1972 Frisco Texas I let my mouth get me in trouble at a dive honky tonk and I got a pretty good beating. When the Constable ( I think that's what he was ) arrived he asked me where I was from & I told him I was stationed at Fort Bliss. 45 minutes later I was gladly on my way out of town after serving my sentence. Shaking the guy's hand and apologizing to him and thanking the 2 employees that pulled the guy off my pummeled ass. It's a different World now and I'm glad I was young and dumb 50+ year's ago. Everybody had a knife & gun then too but seldom used them in a fist fight.
8:14 - But by all means, keep speeding with a vehicle that will shake itself apart. What could go wrong?
It’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand 😂
I didn't see your comment before I posted.
Yeah, he's putting the rest of us in danger because he's too cheap to fix his vehicle.
#9: When did Windsor, Ontario get a mountain range?
Isn't that dirty snow not melted yet from the last blizzard in a deposit yard ? LOL
#18 Wouldn't have mattered if that car had signaled since you apparently weren't paying attention anyway. No braking at all. That was completely avoidable.
Yea. More Mega Driving School.
3:00 mark video, 100% NOT Windsor Ontario...lol
5:58 The person who decided not to stop is at fault. If the lights aren't working, it becomes a four-way stop.
The problem is if the lights are completely out, an inattentive driver may not even realize there's an intersection. Much less that he's supposed to stop. Your normal reaction when there are no visible lights is to keep going. So exercise extreme caution when at an intersection with the lights out. It's far more dangerous than one with all-red or flashing red lights.
1:33 If that video was used in court, then the person that failed to stop after the light was yellow for so long, should be charged and lose their license. Instead not fining or charging them is rewarding the person going straight, for their stupidity.
6:18 YOU speeding definitely caused this. The dude probably didn't have the chance see you or move his car because you were going so fast. Think about it from his perspective. He's trying to turn into a lane and a car zooms by without warning, not giving him a chance to do anything. People need to take accountability when they speed.
I honestly don't think that clip was in real time.
His speed probably didn't help, but it certainly did not cause it; van just didn't look.
I watched this one again, thanks to you, andrew. Yes, cammer appears to be speeding. But other car is definitely at fault.
@@CurtinChad Maybe they looked but driving schools don't teach to judge speed of cars on the road. Would simulators help? Probably but do you want to spend double the cost for it?
@@pierredaigneault5615 I wish I could, that would be awesome.
4:11 I assume, they are driving 50 km/h plus there, which is totally fine by the street. Please tell me now, how 2 seconds is enough time to come to a complete stop or how there is any room in the left, if the SUV is taking both lanes (if there even are two lanes, but he definitely changed in last second directly in front of the oncomming car, so 200% no chance to avoid it). Keep in mind, that you ALWAYS (everything else is humanly impossible!) have one second shock time and one second reaction time at least! Whoever wrote this shit of a comment to such a clear accident with undoubted fault at all is just such a giant waste of oxygen, like the SUV driver!
Thank you. First comment I see about this
Yes a one second shock and one second reaction time is a strict minimum IF you pay attention and are aware of your surroundings! A lot of people involved in crashes or simple bumps are NOT distracted by their phone, but by loud music (ears are as important than eyes when driving), hot coffe cup, eating, checking yourself in the mirror or kids in the back (sorry ladies, you know who you are) trying to pick up something on the floor (laptop slid when you had to brake for another distracted driver?) ANYTHING besides driving safely is a distraction and can be deadly. And PLEASE if you value your life BUCKLE UP !!!!!
0:45…looking with your car much?…….that drift though 😎
3:02, stupidity, lack of patience, & an over correction…why can’t people understand you just have to effin wait?
#18 - 6:15 - Yes, the Mercedes crossover did turn and change lanes improperly. However, cammer seemed to be going a lot faster than the posted (6:19) speed limit of 60 kph (37.28 mph).
Given the choppiness of the clip, I'm betting we're not seeing it at normal speed. Look at the motion as he recovers coming off of the median - not normal.
@@spamlessaccount Absolutely right.
2:06 White SUV driver couldn't see nearby oncoming traffic due to (van or pickup?) in right lane, but pulls out anyway. If your view is not unobstructed, don't just go for it!

It’s safe to assume they may want to reverse and yes they should check first but why would you get that close to them anyway?? Give it a moment to figure out what they are doing.
They were making a left turn. Then they decided not to. Don't blame the cammer.

The initial liability for those damages is definitely on the power company or contractor that allowed the lines to hang so low.
16. Sometimes people are just really determined to crash into you, unlucky
You’ve described #24 incorrectly. The cammer hit the other car when it didn’t yield. The cammer T-boned the other car, not at fault, but perhaps the cammer could have slammed on the brakes a bit sooner if he’d noticed the other car coming from the left. As a driver, one really has to always be on the look out for bad drivers.
Unfortunate but common mistake: left turn driver turns on yellow signal without verifying that no oncoming traffic is also racing for the yellow. Don't let it happen to you.
4:32 Seems to me that the cable was hanging too low. That box truck is not exceptionally large. The cable appears to branch off the bundle between the poles. Very unprofessional. The utility company should share some of the blame.
7:40 Attempted Insurance scam??
3:34 if you wouldnt have braked he couldn't have forced his way through. he has to yield to you so keep going
2:30 with two traffic signals that look parallel with each other I can see why that driver thought there were two lanes going forward. In my city when they have a lane end at a none intersecting intersection the traffic signal device for left turn is notably seperate than the one going forward. Like forward and a little lower. It more distinctly shows the traffic path. Of course it's the driver's fault but it looks like the city engineer could help alleviate that confusion.
Number 8 is terrible road markings
Honestly, road rage just makes every situation worse. Why can't people drive more respectfully?

#16 5:53 How??!!
5:55 How do you regulate traffic when the traffic lights are out of order? Here in Europe, there are also traffic signs at traffic light junctions that regulate traffic in this case.
In the US, you're supposed to treat an intersection as if it had four way stop signs when the lights aren't working. The problem is that too many drivers have no clue what the rules of the road are, and some just don't care what the rules are.
