      I am a big fan of nukeproof and actually I am enjoying the Scout now. However, If I would chose between the both, I will choose the mega because of the travel. There are some low price mega in your website but still won't fit my budget. But if I am gonna have a full suspension bike, I would not think of other bikes or bike brands. The Mega is my number 1 go to.

      @@chainreactioncycles Absolutely. My Scout bombs every trail here in Japan, how much more if I have the mega. Nukeproof is really an awsome bike and I have nothing to say bad especially about the frame durability.

    Do many people own both ? Are the differences that noticeable?
    I own a mega , live half way between 2 mtb parks , one is full enduro , mega is perfect there . The other park is more flowy trail , flatter , more curves and berms. The mega feels like too much bike for that place .
    Thinking of getting a second bike , one for each park :)

  • @andyk3813

    Seems "all mountain" category is coming back with some of these bikes manufacturers are building out- aggressive trail/light enduro. Bikes like the Reactor, Meta TR, etc especially in 29 are designed to be more than a trail bike and can compete in less gnarly enduro courses. A true, do anything, bike for those that can't afford multiple options. Personally I love it, riding a Meta TR on fast rollers one day and blue/blacks shuttled the next, without a hiccup. Plus I can climb with my XC focused buddies.

    • @olivierhacking
      @olivierhacking Před 3 lety

      Can you really climb with XC buddies? Does the weight and the kinematics not make the bike feel too squishy for long XC rides? Or would XC wheels/ tires fix that?

I will love to have a bike that feels like the bike is bigger than me then vice versa. All tall guys seat are massively extended above their handlebars making tall Riders have too lean more forward in a slanted position then the other smaller riders that I ride with. There saddle seems to be level with their handlebars. Since we're off the topic but let's hope back on the topic. Which one of these nukeproof is better suited for a tall riders like yourself?

    I just compared the Mega TR 275 from 2014 and the Reactor. Literally - no difference. Same geometry, travel and tube lengths. I even bet that the old TR would feel more rigid and as far as I remember they are pretty robust, super fine welds and really tight tolerances in the linkage system. There is nothing “new” in that Reactor, just marketing bullshit.
