I've done it. I believe it also does 1dmg. so try without electricute. Also fun fact you can type in egg and it pops up as "eggnivia"
Top tier advice: Ending your ult early progresses the last tick of damage (it always ends on a tick of damage) so end it right after a tick. This is great for last hitting minions on low mana
@@luckyluke104 Close, it technically does 0 damage which is different than no damage due to how it's coded, but that means it does proc electrocute like you said
He died to electrocute not wall. Wall only does 1 true dmg.
@@TeamFaust1 wall does not do 1 dmg anymore, it does 0 true damage so it still procs electrocute but can’t kill on its own

As a Zed player, the Anivia matchup is horrendous, I always ban Anivia on the off chance the 1/100000 chance a person picks it. Great video 👍
Yeah, as a mage player who's used to Zed's rolling my shit, Anivia is the champ I feel most comfortable on against the matchup. She's my best champion so that doesn't hurt, but the egg and stun and farming range definitely make for an easier time than a lot of squishy mage mids.

considering pekin was on his smurf and there were many times when that zed would get a kill if he played it just a little better (he pretty much run it straight to anivia and almost killed her, wth), i'm not sure if it's such a good counter. sure if you have egg he won't kill you but that seems to be all the advantage and it's not like only zed is "countered" by anivia simply having her passive

Ah, this is my favorite champ and one that's super underrated. I'm very excited to see a high level player's perspective on her.
Anivia is my onetrick, so happy to see you playing her! It's really informative to watch how you approach things without much experience on the champ. Destroying high elo players with a champ you don't play, who is fairly complicated as well, just goes to show how important simply having a game plan is. Just knowing what your win condition is and what you are trying to do, and what your opponent is trying to do, and playing to that. Excellent video!

Also another tip when playing Anivia. Your R does a tick damage as it it on every 0.5 sec, however it will apply a final tick if you recast it manually turn it off. That way you can squeeze out max dps if someone if leaving the AOE range or you want to last hit a minion etc.

Love seeing you play Anivia! Another tip that I didn't hear you mention about Anivia ult is that as soon as you cancel it, it does a tick of damage. Really helps for securing last hits/doing that last burst of damage you need vs a champion :)

I like that you actually use e wich is an ability with such low cdr and that has alot of damage for how low cdr and low mana it costs. I watched an anivia vid the other day and the guy didn't use e a single time in the landing phase

Anivia is such an endlessly fun champion to play, definitely play her more...Zed recently became the champion I ban in every game..I absolutely have no idea how to go against him as any mage I play (Ahri, Anivia, Vex, Neeko, etc..) so watching plays against Zed are super useful to me 😁

really, she's the champ i'm struggling the most at mid. I don't think such huge late game carries like anivia should have such a strong early thanks to her passive. It feels super irritating when you know you gotta take advantage early on vs her or it's mostly doomed later, but you can't because puff, she revives.

You lack wave management understanding. He was helping push waves, Anivia has trouble shoving waves pre-6. Especially after that first kill on Zed mid, super important to crash the wave so the Zed loses gold/exp. I remember another time Pekin had reset and he took the wave, which is fine since Pekin isn’t there to receive it anyways.
@Joonyeah after the first double where he did nothing he took the whole wave while helping push. second time when he caught the one pekin was missing and then proceeded to take the whole next wave for 0 reason. every single time he was "helping" pushing pekin got at best 2 minions....
.. Do you mean the fight @2:40? Pekin was one hp there, his play was very tight but only successful with 0 margin of error, this Skarner is attentive and flashes for the assist since it really looked like he was gonna die. Also, with Pekin getting FB from that, giving Skarner a kill for his flash is good so he doesn’t fall behind - it is a team game after all. Lastly, with Pekin at 1HP he needs to reset quick because death timers are short this early in the game, and he needs to spend his gold to keep the lead in the game. Unlucky wave timing here, too, since even with Skarner’s added push you can see the wave just barely crashes outside of turret range. You can see Skarner turn back too to see if Pekin realllly wanted it pushed, but goes away changing his mind. Notice that Zed arrives in lane just a moment later, thanks to shorter death timers, and he keeps some of minions since the crash didn’t fully work.

fun fact, spells that deal no damage like anivia wall or tundle pillar still do 0 true damage (it used to be 1 true damage, i've seen a tryn die to trundle pillar) for purposes of turret aggro because DAMAGE IS STILL BEEN DONE, zero is still a number! that means these effects WILL proc on hit effects, like electrocute as we've seen, it can also notably apply blue pot. if you want me to like your videos upload one where you proc SUDDEN IMPACT and use wall XD
