I really hate how quick people are to give up
Score is 3 to 4, no objectives taken, missed 2 cannon minions, didn't get last hit on a ward, and they think their entire life is over. Sell the kids, divorce the house, delete the wife, and never look back.
this is why i take a break after a loss. after losing a game you will start noticing every mistake instead of focusing on the positives

As a midlaner its always fun when your 1 mistake during bot's respawn timer convinces them that you're going to lose despite the fact that they're the dead ones

You know what you won't get flamed on? Renata Glasc mid. They will see you're 100% win rate with her and be excited to have you on their team. They may ask you to step on them, but not flame you.

Honestly, I don't see enough Kalista and I wish I did. Really unique champion and I don't feel like many people play her, or at least don't show her on YT. She seems like a somewhat mechanical champ that requires forethought/set-up but has the ability to do massive dam. Seems right up Pekin's alley. Hope we get more, maybe he resonates with her and decides to play Kalista mid again soon. I was really sad to not get a Game 2 on this one. :)
Not sure if you're interested in competitive League but she's pretty much pick/ban in MSI right now so I recommend giving it a watch if you'd like to see more awesome Kalista plays!
And she used to be in every single game ever since she came out for a year or something. She was Kai'sa before there's Kai'sa.

@@DustinHarms as a kalista otp i agree, i honestly love everything about her kit and how different she plays. I think thats the main reason most people dont play her, shes got a different mechanic than any other adc and its challenging to learn/want to learn when so many other adcs play somewhat the 'same'.
Because she’s just a shittier version of vayne. Kinda like how seraphine is a shittier sona. Why pick kalista if vayne is open?
I wanted this for so long, thanks daddy pekin, one thing you could have done better though: when you have 3 points in Q and a lethality item you can OS backwave, if you put one spear in each and then Q it onto enemy champ, you put 4 spears in them for a huge burst. Also if you E before your auto or Q hits, it does the base damage twice.

I don't know if you know that so I'm still putting it there.
You do not have to command attack someone again once you start, Kalista will automatically attack the same target after her dash.
So you can focus on moving and not clicking the opponent.

I recently finished the Ruination book and it made me love Kalista's character and story. I have been playing her more recently, even tho I gave up on learning the champ a few months ago. The combination of the book and the lethality option has made her a lot more fun, and having more fun has made me better at the champ.
A small thing I like is that pekin1 uses orange in the thumbnail but pekin2 uses blue. Makes it easy to recognize what kind of video I’m about to watch

funny same thing happened to me when i went lethality. Pekin have you tried javelin kali i went prowlers boots, collector and scorch if your fed enough you can almost kill with one spear throw its fun to run at the speed of sound and javelin the adc with one javelin and kill em

Opportunity is such a bad item if you don't snowball, much like Hubris. Eclipse or Voltaic is great first on lethality Kalista. Voltaic also has the benefit of giving you bonus energized stacks since Kalista's jumps count as dashes for it. Plus it helps chase down and kite due to the slow. Eclipse is just a lot of ad, cdr, and a shield for the panth matchup. Opportunity is really only a lethality item for champs that go in, and have trouble getting out like Vi or Talon. Especially junglers or roamers. You could probably even go Stormrazor second after Voltaic just to burst and then run away after.
Like the change up in shirt. How colorful. Also, I absolutely hate Panth mid with a burning passion. I'm actually surprised Panth didn't stomp you harder during laning

As a side note since the enemy is a Pantheon, starting with a quick pta and empowered w at lvl1 is criminally underrated. And if you have ignite you are almost guaranteed a kill at lvl 3 lmao
At 15min you say that you couldn't do anything to prevent dragon steal, but wasn't rend available at the time? I don't play Kalista so I'm not sure, but I thought that was a dragon secure along with your Jarvan smite

Get excited and think you did something insane dodging 1 panth spear with kalista passive? Usually i learn from your vids but apparently its because you never make videos on the champs i actually already play (im low rank btw, i assumed you were atleast like plat or idk?)
Ill try to be constructive too ofcourse. At around 14-15min the dragon take. You messed up bad in several ways. You saw the hwei come alone from the left and instead of instantly Qing JUMPING TOWARD HER and stacking like 4-5spear INSTANTLY ON HER WITH HAIL OF BLADE RUNE then 1shoting her with E.... you got deeper into the dragon pit... inviting hwei to use her massive aoe area denial during a dragon teamfight.... you also said there was nothing you could do to prevent dragon steal with kalista??? Dude kalista can do 2x the smite dmg IN 1 FRAME on drag/baron.... you litterally have burst equaling 2 smites if you stack a bunch of spears and time the Q and E together you legit do well over 1.5-2k on drag IN LIKE 0.2SEC

She is definitely a Champ that wants to win early, and peaks hard at Mid Game. Lategame is probably the weakest point.
Weaksided late game and against and even more so if the enemy has multiple cc

You can play any ADR champ on mid .It just depends how good you are or how bad your oppenent will be 😅 The worst line up out there is the all ADR line up.I dont know who is the Genuis behind this idea.😅

I know you don't play her, but here are some tips from a Kalista enjoyer
her jump distance scales with tier of boots (so sitting on base boots or no boots makes you jump less than say berseker's or ionians)
her jump speed scales with her move speed so the faster she is the faster you'll get to jump again (this is why Nasus is a massive counter to her on support)
Lethality Kalista also only works against squishies, she cannot kill tanks at all and most tanks will be able to just 1v1 her
finally, using Rend (E) on an enemy champion without having many stacks is usually bad (cuz it going on cooldown destroys you for 10ish seconds) however what you can do is prep a minion that will die to e and then proc e on them. This tip is more on a case to case basis, but if they know your e is on cooldown they should jump you and you'll most likely lose the 1v1/2v2 since your E is very important in fights
