@@007VitaminD it increases his ap which increases his max mana but when the buff goes away out of river, he keeps the extra mana with a lower max. it's not mana regen and seems like a bug.
@@007VitaminD since his passive gives him mana from ap when he walks in river he gains a bit of ap which increases his total mana so if you walk in and out of river you’ll generate a lot since the current mana doesn’t go down only the max mana

he deserves it after all those years of ryze being known as a character that you just roll your face on the keyboard and proceed to win. before they changed him he was one of the stupidest champions ever. all point and click dmg, absolutely no skill involved, and an ult that gave him a huge casting steroid that gave him a bunch of of spell vamp and AoE, and to make it even easier, he scaled off mana, so he was able to build full tank and still have AP mage damage. even with that change being so long ago, he still probably existed in that state for longer than he has this current state. they probably didnt change ryze until year 8 or so. he deserves 10 more years of being trash tier

I actually picked him up a bit before 13.1 and previous archangels wasn't that bad IMO, he got lots of cdr and I could still get 900-1000ap. Main thing I dislike is that he doesn't really have good mus, his good mus are champs that also don't have good mus. I also have already blind pick champs in my champ pool as well.

Ryze is up there as one of the most boring champs imo. He's just....not entertaining to watch even though he's good. Either ryze is too boring or your team having 3 point and click ults was the real drag lmao. Good work on stomping tho.
