    We had a really hard time finding reviews about this Kioti tractor, so we'll share a lot about our experience.
    In this video we'll share about our decision to purchase the Kioti DK6010SE HST Cab in stead of a new, loaded John Deere 3046 or a 10 year old, used John Deere 3720. We'll also show how we plan to use some of our existing implements, now that we have a larger tractor.

      Glad it was helpful! So far we LOVE this tractor!!! We added about 950 lbs of liquid ballast and now she sits super solid, even on some of our hills that are very much still pucker worthy. We just got done filming everything but the first run of our new hydraulically actuated 94" snow plow, and can't wait to share how things went. Hope you'll check it out when we get the video published ;)

    Good choice on tractors. I used to have a JD 4500 and replaced it with the Kioti CK3510 hystat. Way better tractor. Cab and heat ,ac make a huge difference. I have all my old implements from the jd and bought a 60 in rear mount snowblower, all I can say is wow! This Kioti is now 2 yrs old and I love it. Few minor problems but nothing I couldn't take care of.

      P.S. You'll LOVE the DK. It's amazing having the Cab. I was concerned about going from open cab to cab, but so far it's been AMAZING! I'll say I only have issue when I'm trying to give instructions to my wife or son, who are outside the cab and can't hear...this has been the ONLY drawback. Visibility is still VERY good. • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 2 lety

      I don't have a mower. I use a LOT of ballast. LOVE THE TRACTOR.
      My ballast box is about 850 lbs, and we've added 950 lbs worth of antifreeze / windshield washer fluid.
      Sideways on hills is scary, but it's just something you kinda "figure" out by going super slow at first and pushing the limits till you learn where the "line" is...then try not to accidentally end up there while you're doing some heavy work.
      I did slip down into a spot and high center ONCE and did some minor damage to one oft he cabin filters and the top of the hood (We made a repair video, FYI)....

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 3 lety

      I've been pretty happy with the tires, but to be totally honest, the thing I would encourage you to do is put water weight in there, regardless of which tire choice. I'm not experienced enough to tell you one way or the other on the tire tread style. We had height restrictions, and when we bought, tractors were NOT available...we had to pick from what was here in the US, since Covid was raging all over Asia. This tractor has a load of power, and if you can get some weight in there, it helps a LOT!
      We have videos about our process, not that it's anything magical, but we did add about 950 lbs to our tractor!!! Huge improvement.

      @@BrianPhillipsRC glad to hear you're still loving it. One day I'll have this one but I think it's gonna be a few years still. Thanks again.

    "A quick update.", is 1:41:20. I want your time zone, I could live 200 years. It doesn't come standard with flaps or even DSMX? WTF? 😂

    I’d leave the bucket off when parking in the garage.

      We usually have the forks on, since that's what we use more often than not. The bucket is sitting out in storage now. Forks are so nice to have, I can't imagine the suffering we would have endured without then, given the numerous projects we've completed with their help.

    If you just popped off the receiver that's sticking out you wouldn't have lost any strength since the side walls are what's holding the weight and not the back side.

      That's how the adapter plate is held on (right???). I realize the TOP CLEAT and the BACK bear the weight, and there's a side guard that isn't really designed to stop the carriage from sliding off the left or right, but How would you suggest I do this? If I knock off one of the two RECEIVERS, it will allow the fork carriage to bend and twist more than it should, and play further out on that side than would normally be allowed. I thought about taking down the size of ONE of the two receiver pins, but what if the NEXT attachment needs them, or needs them more critically for placement?
      Alternatively, I could have just buy another Quick Tach Carriage of the exact same setup, but I wanted the flexibility to be able to add on other JD front Attachments too (think if I were to need to borrow a stump bucket from a neighbor, not that I would buy it wrong), should there ever come a time, and plus this adapter plate was cheaper than replacing the whole carriage and forks. I also use this plate for handling hay spears too, keep in mind (or if you didn't already know).

      @@BrianPhillipsRC or get this grind the welds and move it forward. It's not like your going to o be pushing with a receiver style plow since you have a tractor that can do JD gear and skid steer gear. Your over thinking just like your video.

      @@BrianPhillipsRC your statement that the removal of the rear of the receiver on the forklift plate isn't true. If you removed the amount needed to make everything work. Like my other reply you could easily cut the welds around it and move or just remove the backside.

You only have to convince your self it isn't junk. I need to watch the hole video before commenting i just heard you run a chain saw omg lol

    You should have bought the optional cutting edge. Makes the bucket more rigid, and makes the bucket last forever. Cost 350.00 for my DK4210

      We bought our tractor when I believe there were THREE in the state of Iowa. I'm still owed options that we paid for already...arm rests, to be particular - LOL - so I was happy to get what I got when I got it
