I just received my Kioti RX7320PC tractor this week from the dealer. I've been operating 20 to 40 year old equipment all of my life. Getting close to retiring time and decided to get myself a once in lifetime Man gift. Don't worry, I give my wife "Woman gifts" big and small all of the time, lol. I am going to run hydraulic lines to the front just like you did here. I wanted to thank you and Camera Crew for putting together very detailed and helpful videos for us viewers. Your Camera Crew has such an upbeat and happy personality, its so nice to see you guys working together in a playful and loving kind of way. I catch myself smiling while watching the videos, lol. I learn a lot from the details you give on different things, so thanks again for that. Thanks Andy! Glad you got some joy from following along. These lines, did not need to be so big, FYI (And you probably already knew that)...I would have done way smaller to the front, since the machine is basically a low flow application. Having the extra size does make it a lot harder to run the lines, but might also save one if I hit something under the frame, so hope that never comes up ;)

Glad we could help you in your search. We LOVE ours, and sooooooooo glad I didn't buy the WAY more expensive John Deere. This has been one of my favorite purchases of our property here...and only wish we had made the right call, and made our garage WAY bigger.
The issue with plows is, if you get a lot of snow and no significant melting between storms, your driveway gets narrow really fast if you don’t push the first ones WAY back! Wet snow like that, will freeze to ice and make things very difficult till spring.
yes, true! Then when it's an early or late snow, the ground is still "softer" and you can run the risk of ripping the crap out of the grass ;(
I still LOOOOOOVE this solution! Snow Thrower attachment would be NICE too, but still a lot of complexity, and expense. I can use this for grading too (I have a steel cutting edge too).

It's the first week of December here and on my half mile driveway, I am already to the point of not being able to plow the snow away. What I am doing now is plowing to the middle and using a snow blower to get rid of it.

We love it so far. GREAT tractor, and super strong. We can lift 3-5 times what we could with the 1025R, and we can live it over 107" high now!!!
Great vid as always Brian! Now you just need to set it up so you can run it from your spectrum tx from the house🤩😆 One suggestion. When you start it up, pull it right out of the garage. Diesel soot is highly carcinogenic and will stick around in the garage and migrate into the house even with the door up. I’m a firefighter and diesel exhaust is a big cause of our increased cancer rates. Stay safe and healthy. Happy New Year to you all!🥳😊
Thanks for the heads up. I usually don't worry about it, as these 4th and 5th generation diesel engines are BETTER at burning off diesel soot, but you're right, they're not perfect.
As for your fire engines, do you guys have retractable hoses to the exhaust stacks so you can run them inside the fire station?
My backyard is 150 acres. I have a Branson but no snowplow(south ga.)lol. But plenty of flying space. Nice Yote!

Brian (and camera crew) thank you so much for all of the tractor videos! Your videos were a huge help with my decision to replace/up-size my New Holland TC that I've had for 20 years. I have only had the Kioti DKse for 2 weeks but so far I really like it.
In this video I noticed the led lights on the FEL, did you install them? Wiring? I didn't see you mention them, unless I missed it.
We added some led's, yes. Help a lot with night ops (common for us when clearing snow)
I stole power from other lights...I actually pulled the light out, tapped the power lines, and ran wires to the LED's. The lights are running halogen bulbs, so there's plenty of juice there to run an measly LED as well ;)
Now I have control of the lights on the front and the additional lights up top that totally fix the "blind" spot at night where the reflection of the loader arms is all I could see.
I think we show this on the playlist for our tractor, if you're interested...not the install, but the finished product.
Brian nice place. Don't know how much snow you get but if more than a couple feet you may want to put snowblower on it. I used my kubota to push Snow and pile with loader. Huge piles take long time to melt. With blower just looks nicer with no banks.
Yeah, this was a very heavy snow, and to be totally honest, we don't get super deep snow falls often, but we'll get some drifting. Fortunately, our driveway is situated where the wind doesn't drift over it to date!!!!!! Awesome, but lucky!
You could run below grade lights along the driveway to illuminate the edge. It would look cool in any season.

I want to have lighting for simulation of the runway markers, but our runway isn't done just quite yet.
I was just typing about a diverter being a better option at 52:30 when you mentioned it. Since the curl and the angle aren't likely to be used together and neither require a huge flow, it would be the ideal circuit to put it on.
yes, I would like to make an electronic, solenoid controlled dual or maybe even triple diverter that can be just plugged into one of those two hydraulic outputs, then I can have the THUMB control for angles, and possibly later, some WINGS that I want to add using another small circuit.
If I did it again, I'd use a LOT smaller hose to get to the front, but you NEVER know what you might need some day. If I come up with a PTO Driven High Flow Pump so I can run a brush or snow blower, these larger lines will help a lot.

Thanks for vids! Purchased this same tractor and the 79" Titan Plow. Did you ever feel you needed chains when plowing? My tires are loaded, but I don't have a ballast box and wondering if chains are in my future. I have a relatively flat driveway but live in Chicagoland so ice and snow are plentiful. Thanks!
This was one of my best purchases since we moved here to the country. I can clear the road to the intersection in minutes (well, quite a few minutes, but I CAN do it).
I've only been in trouble for traction a couple or three times where I was pushing piles back, and got stuck in low points. I was able to rock and roll my way right out, but that's one of best parts of a loader mounted plow....you can push your tractor right out of the snow if necessary ;)
Sounds like you might be on a smaller tractor, if you got the 79" plow...ours is the 94" version.
Did you think about a UHWM cutting edge yet? Makes ZERO wear on your concrete - so nice!!! But the mfg'ers are very proud of UMWH
make your cat a jungle gym out of maple or ash logs. dust off your drafting table and get them blueprints made for the cat jungle gym

just put in a true 3rd function or a diverter. the diverter is real easy install. use a foot switch to divert flow. get it at hydraulic surplus center. I ran the hoses from rear on a yanmar I had. it just wasn't right. do it right do it once! if they don't have the foot switch I got a spare I can give you. NIB
I was really hoping for two momentary push buttons up on the joystick. Then I could setup the controls and solenoids on the rear attachment point, where I routed my lines to the angling blade. That would be sweet...just one had, three controls, the way God intended it to be ;) LOL
Foot pedal would be nice too, but I don't want to just DIVERT, since I'm running a DETENTE circuit...AKA I turn on the flow, one direction, OR the other, and it KEEPS running, until I move the stick back to center. I was supposed to have One Detent, and ONE Spring Return...but I got BOTH as detents???

Awesome video man! A few questions for you because I am highly considering this cutting edge for my 5 foot Kubota snow plow. How do you like the cutting edge overall, are you happy you went with the beveled edge and not the flat edge and do you think its worth having them drill the holes for you? I was thinking of getting the 3/4” or the 1” thick. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
Whatever thickness we got was GREAT, but I don't want it beveled. You will Bevel it when you use it the first time ;)
Brian I think you should save your money and use the snow shovel build up your shoulders. 😂 No just kidding you guys did your homework and got yourself an awesome tracker it does an awesome job very good decision. Thanks William! I just plowed last night again, and it was crazy! We had a 6-12" snow fall, while we were filming BTW, so when you watch that video soon, you'll see it as we build the plane ;)... anyway, it was TONS of now I cleared in about an hour. I also cleared the entire road to the intersection, which as you know is way wider than our driveway.
The issue I'm still having is that when I go into FLOAT to use the weight of the plow to scrape along, as I should, I'm finding it still pretty difficult to break out of the float detent, to go back to neutral hydraulic pressure and then into lift to pull away from the edges without some level of gouging here and there. I Assume this is a finesse thing that I'll just have to get used to, but with the angling controls off and behind, almost by where the seat belt connects, it's just plain hard to get from the main joystick control to that control. I almost want to put in an electronic diverter so that I can just press the button and move that control. Not sure if that would work or not, but if I could keep my right hand on the stick and do all three controls, it would be so nice!
All things considered, I love running it, and it's doing a great job! We are extremely happy with this combo. I would buy it again in a heartbeat! Taking hay in the spring will be a whole different experience, and we haven't even seen how much better that's gonna be!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Brian you’re doing great, i’m sure by next year at this time you’ll have it all dialed in to be a piece a cake. I am retired now but when I was working are used to operate what they call a petty bone I don’t know if you guys know if those are back there I’m in California I used to do a lot of work at San Diego airport what they are as a forklift that can boom out till forward to a lot of different operations. And I was the only one licensed to operate this equipment at the airport, very scary at times but I had it dialed in. I been retired now for four years, when operating a transmitter on an RC plane makes me feel like I’m operating a petty bone Full on concentration at all times. “LOVE IT” I could tell you a lot of close calls I had around aircraft when I worked there for dead be a couple pages long. Back to your house is there some kind of a rubber marker that you could put in the ground along your driveway and walkway where if you hit it it wouldn’t break it would stick up like they do for snow plows along the highways back there anyways it was just a thought. Thanks again for replying to me you help me out like a Brother. You and camera crew are the “BEST” keep up the good work guys. You guys do a fantastic job on CZcams.

Another route you can go is build some ski's for the blade keeps the blade off the ground about half inch. unless you want to scrape the pavement off. after a few years you will see the wear and tear on the pavement. you would not need the UHMW blade.
The UHWM blade is sweet, but it's super expensive in this size!!!
I'd LOVE to make some skis, but only for the rare occasion I slip off the edge...or when I get to the end of the runway. If the ground is frozen, it's no biggie, but when it's half-froze, it can really gouge the heck out of the lawn.

Hey Brian, are you operating your front hydraulics off of your rear remote or do you have a dedicated 3rd function at the loader joystick?
It is from the rear, and I WISH I had a joystick mounted thumb control....it would be soooooo much easier to use. The beauty of this issue, if that I COULD still add a solenoid control that makes this circuit operate.

How tall is your tractor from the floor with the industrial tires? Also, with implements on, does it "sag" thr tractor lower at all? I have a 96 inch opening to try and fit it in and trying to decide on a ck vs a dk. Thanks for the help!
GREAT QUESTIONS!!! I had to take out a little bit of tire pressure...but we have 8 foot doors too. We HIT The weather strip in our third stall, about 1/8", but on our first and second car stalls (The bigger door) we hit a bit more...like 1/4" since there's little bit more crown.
Measuring the height of the tractor is a huge pain, but we tried and tried, and the dealer in Atlantic, IA (About 2 hours drive from us) was adamant that they wouldn't let me "See if it would fit"... This was annoying, but we LOVE this machine! we have Industrial Tired on this machine. We were TOLD they were Ag tires, but these are absolutely Industrial - I found out when we did Wet tires.
We did a video about "wet" tires too, which might talk more about the height, if you want to see in more detail.
We plan to show more about this tractor in the spring for Hay Season too, FYI.

One other question for you if you dont mind. Do you find that the weight ruts up your yard much at all when dry? I know if it wet it coult rut up, but i have a very similar place to yours and want to feel comfortable taking it across our "lawn". By no means is it a golf course type lawn. Seems like in your video you have no problem driving it around your place. Thanks for your help!
take the wife to a drive-in movie theater in that there Kioti keep plowing them trapezoids ! you guys are like two peas in a pod. great vidjas maybe some Kioti running attachments???? what is the dif between an attachment and an implement? a guy on CZcams named Colin made an underground tunnel to his garage. Kioti and TYM are at the top in the bang for buck cat. I was going to get me one of them there KU-BOATERS but it was 53k for the one that competes against DK NS NX. I had a 2021 NX4510. it was a COVID tractor and they had a batch of bad solenoids in the NX e-hydro tranny so they gave me a TYM T494 , both were fantastic machines.
Looking at the same plow but in the 79 inch for my mini skid steer. How well does the trip work on the plow? That is my main concern. Currently using a dirt bucket and when you hit the lip on the concrete it's spine shattering. Where in Iowa are you at?
We're in Central Iowa, just outside Des Moines.
The break away works great, but it's WAY too loose the way it's shipped, I suspect you will agree. I've probably made a 3.5" - 4" adjustment on each side to tighten it up, and now it works better. Also, with the ground nice and frozen, the overlap over the edges is way less destructive...plus I'm getting the hang of it finally...had to clear 6 times this weekend!!!
I have a video coming to show the top "skirt" we made. It's a GREAT addition and took all of about half an our to do (of course the video made that 3X as long...but super easy)

Did you end up taking the bolts out that allow the tilt left and right float function on the central point?
YES! I did have them too tight, but they were allowing for some pivot. I loosened them and it helped. This tool is one of our biggest successes! Love it, and I hate to admit, please don't kill me - I'm kinda looking forward to doing it this winter ;)

That's a good idea, and we need to do this exactly. We love how warm it stays in this garage. The more expensive doors were a VERY good idea, plus the builder insulated the walls too - totally worth every penny!!!

I watched this whole video but I can not find where you talk about the 3rd function kit. Did you add that on afterward or have the dealer put it on? How much was it? If you add these extra parts yourself does it mess with the warranty?
Sorry for the confusion. Our dealor added the KIT of the additional 3rd and 4th kits.
It was very economical to add, something like ~$300 . Very reasonable compared to the $1500 or some ungodly amount John Deere was asking for on a tractor that cost about 2/3 MORE!!!

I doubt it'll mess with your warranty, but it was CHEAP, these options - get them to do it if at all possible.

We got about 6" or so, but it was CRAZY heavy, almost like slush!!! We only very occasionally get this type of snow around here.
If I might add. On these longer videos if you could break them up in to 40 minute segments and make it multi part that would be awesome. If I miss something you say and try and scroll back real quick it's a short time bar that covers a huge amount of time currently. Very thorough video though.
Yeah, I have the same issue when we're making the videos too (scrolling back to catch something I said for example). Trouble we had in the past when we'd make a conglomeration of videos on a subject matter, like an Unbox Video, then a Build Video, then a Radio Setup Video, then a Maiden Flight video...was that by the time we were flying the plane, 80-95% of our audience was gone. We've followed some advice from very persistent people to put out flights at the beginning (this is obviously not a flight - LOL) and this seems to be very well received, but if I did what you ask, splitting videos into 40 minute chunks, there would be new issues....one I can say for certain, there would be more adds ;( Good for the channel, bad for the audience. Also, we'd have the same issue I mentioned above, where so many will be gone...I guess that happens anyway to a certain extent.
Either way, we hear your concern, and wish we could accommodate everyone, unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to make everyone happy. Your point is very good, and I want to figure a way to help people to be able to skip back to hear missed things, or some stupid comment I made. Maybe there's a key press that can be used on the PC to step back 5 seconds or something like this.

Yeah on the computer it would be much better. On the phone sucks but it is what it is. Thanks just the same. I ordered the mini skid to universal skid steer plate today from titan and really considering the 79" plow. With that poly edge it's impressive how well it cleaned the surface.

Because I fly RC planes from our "runway"...
Also, once it's frozen, I can hang over the edge and tell EXACTLY where I need to be, plus pushed the piles back further.
P.S. We've used this rig for 2 full winters, this being the third, and I LOVE it more and more with every plow! (I need to do it tonight and possibly in the morning too - about 6" expected, heavy, wet snow).

My snow plow is steel and has a quality wood control handle. It is powered by a 0.2 HP energy source although the HP has dropped over the years. ☃️ Maybe split the video into four or five parts next time. 3:40 is a LONG time to watch at once.

LOL - very nice!!! I get these from plants that I work at. I've been what I do for so long, I end up with these "frocks" or "smocks" (lab coats) when I'm working with a maintenance crews at like 3AM or whatever horrific time, usually when I was working with them for like 12 hours on some horrible project and the front entrances are closed or whatever strange circumstances had it that they just send me home in the thing or in my truck. It's happened half a dozen times or so, sometimes by their mistake, and other times by my mistake. Either way, they end up in the garage.

I don't think they can ship w oil in hydraulic lines. relax the TIGHT ONE will tighten up with oil. a hydraulic top link and a 1/2'' x 6'' cutting edge for your bucket will make a huge dif in peeling sod and virgin earth. both are $200-$250 each Holland spare parts for top link. top link hoses and ag. connectors under $250 at your door.

the flat connectors do not leak. the ag. connectors will drip every time. in your world a drip is a big deal. I would have bought the Chinaman a bowl of soup to install the reflector sticker crooked just to get a good vidja of you freaking about that crooked sticker!
yep, we have flat face on this setup now. I think might have been ag at the time of filming. Lasted one connect/disconnect and I was like - Holy Crap - I'll loose like a cup of oil every time!

The blade is too wide for your walkway. If the blade angles at 28 degrees it would decrease the width of the path from 94 inches down to 83 inches.
Thanks! I was thinking about putting on a shorter blade on the top (the left side only), then I could flip the whole thing over for the sidewalk. I had a problem this time clearing the snow, because the ground around the driveway wasn't frozen yet, so I kinda rutted next to, and in front of the front sidewalk. Live and learn, I guess....
So what would you do for the front sidewalk? I had been using the zero turn and it was a 48" blade.
@@BrianPhillipsRC That would be a good place for a snowblower. You could get that cleaned up fast and the lawn would be safer. I understand the desire to get it finished with one machine though. Maybe lower the blade so it's a couple of inches off the surface to clear the bulk of the snow and just push the rest with a shovel. Or the best option might be to build an RC snow plow and clear it all from inside!

LOL Nice!!! Does it work well? I was totally thinking about making an adapter for my old ZERO TURN PLOW, so I could use it on the end of my forks, then I could get the "small snows" when they come quick, without needing to swap out implements.

I know why you make so many long videos. They’re not for everybody. But for the people that are interested in these products, the in-depth information that you provide is useful. It’s just not for everyone. You can always hit the pause button and come back to it later.
I'm not going to be able to keep everyone happy. We try to put the most critical part at the beginning, and most people watch a few minutes and move on. Only a select few take time to criticize a video that they don't like for being too long. If it's too long, why don't you just stop watching it??!??! Did you break your "next" button?
