    I've been eyeing grapples for a while now. Just never pulled the trigger. After seeing the excitement in your face and the hearing the enthusiasm in your voice after using it .... I just had to order one! Can't wait to use it now.

      It was one of the best investments we've made. We should have done it YEARS before...like the DAY we started clearing here!!!
      Good luck Kenneth!

    Just spent 3 hrs yesterday on the community farm doing volunteer grapple work with our tractor clearing vines, sticker brush, logs etc in a similar fashion. After about 15 hrs Brian will get much better at it and find out he’s only using it at a fraction of its capacity. Great commentary too! (That in addition to being a fabulous videographer, perhaps the best in you tube?)

      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks! I was kinda thinking the same thing!!! This thing could do so much better if it were in the hands of a more qualified operator!!!
      Megan does a great job of catching all the action - I'm so lucky she puts up with all my projects!

    Ha! Too funny. I've watched loads of your R/C videos, as I fly R/C also, but today I was looking at grapples for my Kioti. Came across this video and when you hopped out of the cab I thought "hey, I know that guy!"

    We totally appreciate your hard work we have scotch brier in our woods that I've been bush hogging we have 25 acres now I bought the property next door a few months ago it's has a rich oak grove along the backside and we have a creek I've been clearing I love working on our property with a big John Deere 4066r with Titan attachments it makes life soooo much better that's weird mine came with air circulation hummmm oh cause I asked for it at no extra cost it's not standard, keep up the good work maybe when you've cleared this grove you can build an rc crawler course just sayin, great video 😉👍🚜

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 3 lety +1

      Nice! Love the 4066R - that's a beauty! I was looking at a 3066R which didn't have recirculate...actually might have been a 3046R...not 100% sorry if I mis-spoke. I love deer, but couldn't believe how much I loved this Kioti (more).
      The 40XXR series for us wouldn't work, since it sits about 3-5 inches higher than this DK6010SE...so we never even looked at a 4 series...not to mention it would have been a bit more, and a bit more cash ;)

  • @w.j.bendellr.c.flying.1037

    That’s what I don’t like about CZcams it won’t let you leave photos. But my big Stihl Weedwhacker FS 131 with a carbide tipped blades on it is the best I’ve ever had for wheeling through brush and 3’m trees,well worth the money. Quality tools quality job

    Would you mind making a video of your 3rd option on the loader? You said you installed it by yourself.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 3 lety

      No, we didn't install the THIRD AND FOURTH...the dealer installed it - I'm sorry, we only ran the hoses, but we did that in the video for out SNOW PLOW. you can see that part if it's helpful.

  • @AlexGonzalez-lx5ux

    Where did you buy the 3rd function valve kit for grapple?

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 2 lety

      This was a factory installed part, but we added the hoses up front.
      Check out this video where we do the snow plow...that's when we added the hydraulic lines.

    That is a lot of work camera crew. To country for me. You have hay? Have horses? Erosion best to use rocks if possible.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 3 lety +1

      We produce hay, and sell it. Yeah, rocks would be great, but we'd need about 100 truck loads of rock to rip-rap our waterways.

    He really shouldn't drive with the grapple so high off the ground it changes the center of gravity so much it is easier to tip over especially while moving on a side hill. Please be careful.

    • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Před 3 lety

      I understand and agree. The counterweight is 800 lbs, plus we have 950 lbs of "water" in the tires to help. the Grapple is about 650 lbs, so you definitely KNOW it's there, but the tractor handles it well! So happy with this purchase. I want to go use it but we have so much RC stuff piled up, my wife will make me live in the woods if we don't get caught up soon ;)

      If you get a chance to add a grapple to your fleet this one is AMAZING! I would have liked to get the smaller one, but it was out of stock, and now I'm somewhat happy we got the heavier one, since this thing will do some MAJOR DAMAGE!!!! Soooo much fun, but higher flow on the hydraulics would make it quicker. Also a Diverter, rather than an accessory port would make it "easier" to use...then I could put the control on the Thumb of the loader joystick end...rather than having to grab behind my butt to close and open the grapple. Oh well, still amazing tool and great value!!!
