When I was a kid in my abusive household, this was my rage song. This song always reminded me of my mom, who was a very nasty and abusive alcoholic. I felt like I was constantly being tossed around by her, I loved her and I wanted her to love me. “Tell me now where was my fault in loving you with my whole heart”

Imagine being raised by an alcoholic mom who was abusive and a dad who was verbally abusive and neglectful. That must have hurt bad. I'm sure a child in that situation WOULD have A LOT of pain and emotional outbursts of anger. 😢
Abuse is a real thing in this sinful world, and there are many forms of it. 🤷 CPS considers neglect a reason to remove children from a home too. But this abusive, sinning, unworthy, and unfit dead bear mum, might be found on road, but I ain't dead yet. 🙋🤟✌️😘

Her body accepted the kidney and had one of the lowest antibody count the doctors have ever seen so she is doing amazing thank you for your thoughts and prayers they helped!!!

This songs speaks the most to those who gave all they were to someone they thought loved you back, but in the end it was never a, "thing," to start with. In my case i thought this one girl loved me for my kindness and personality, but in the end used me for her own bidding. i want you, the ones who experienced this, to know that God has made a path for you and made a person that will love you for who you are, not for your social status or affection. But for your personality that shines so bright. There is a light at the end of this tunnel. I know that for a fact.

Every time i hear this song it reminds me of the mother I desperately wanted to love me back, but never met me there.
So many people are talking about how they've been rejected and hurt by a lover, but really to me, it can be a friend or family too. I've had friends who've done shit to me before and I can relate to this song, luckily I bounced back immediately because it wasn't something to have a major affect in my life. But pain is pain: it's a little shit who doesn't care how small it is because it's just the same. I connect to this music and though I'm young, it helps me from stumbling and falling over last pebble I crossed in my path

I love the honesty in this song, the buildup to the 2:50 mark gets me every time...and then the end. its haunting.. "lead me to the truth and I, will follow you with my whole life" the banjo makes it upbeat, and lighthearted and gives it a nice contrast

I know this feeling. I fell for a friend that I'd known for almost twenty years a couple of years ago after being away, though not out of touch, for a few years and she and her friends have been... Let's just say that I'm glad she didn't return my feelings and this song spells it out quite well.

I was on a short run this morning, listening to the usual music with a heavy beat in time to my running when I accidentally skipped to this song. I have never run so hard for so long. Although it doesn't have the recurring beat good for running, the emotions I get from this song (Despair, anger and most of all, love) all keep me going to become a better person. I recommend this song for running (but you have to mouth the words with as much passion as possible).
